Dropping a pair of guards with his lever-action, Joseph kept looking around for signs of Seth and his crew as he and the others continued making their way along a wall; all around them, the battle raged on, gunshots flying in practically every direction, punctuated by the occasional scream and by the occasional shuffling sound that could only be made by the undead. Where the hell are they--oh, there they are! he thought, catching sight of what at first glance looked like a wild woman screaming her bloody head off next to a large truck across the way. Who the fuck is that? he wondered for a moment before realizing, after taking a moment to look over towards that way with binos, that it was Kara screaming her bloody head off. Tapping Dean on the shoulder, he pointed over in her shoulder. "Looks like our ride out's here, but we gotta' make our way over there right now! You grab Nick on that side, I'll grab him on this side; we'll carry him over there." Looking around at the others, he added, "Follow us over there!" pointing towards what looked like their ticket out of there...

Joseph was taking care of the guards that got in the way, while Dean kept his full focus on Nick, making sure he was still with them. He did that by checking his heartbeat near the throat, like most doctors did.
Every once in awhile he looked around and it was as if they were walking in a scene of a war movie. Gunshots, blood, screaming people, dead bodies, it was all there. He felt bad, since they partly caused this, but it was their own fault, no one would touch Nick! He also searched for Seth and the others, while looking around, he wanted to get Nick out of there as soon as possible. But the all the other chaos was way too distracting, besides he needed to keep an eye on Nick. Just when he turned is head, he felt Joseph tap his shoulder. He looked at him and saw him pointing in a direction up ahead, telling him their ride was there. Dean noticed Kara and sighed relief. “Thank god.” He spoke softly.
Joseph told them they needed to go now and also told Dean they would carry Nick for to the ride. Dean nodded, it would be faster anyways. They switched positions as Joseph told the others to follow. Once they were ready, they carried Nick and made their way to their exit.
As Seth stood at the bottom of the wall waiting on Ben, it was too late for the poor soul. He fell off the wall right in front of Seth, his brains pouring out of his skull. They killed him. And Seth was furious but he knew that they had to escape. No time to waste. So he and Dawson headed towards Kara and hopped into the truck. "Where are the others? They have to make it!"

And Seth was furious but he knew that they had to escape. No time to waste. So he and Dawson headed towards Kara and hopped into the truck. "Where are the others? They have to make it!"
"Right over there," Kara yelled, pointing over towards the other side of Waltonville's main drag towards where Joseph and Company were; as Seth and Dawson climbed aboard, she climbed inside the cab, made sure the engine was still running, then threw it into gear, causing the rear wheels to stick for a few moments before they spun and lurched them forward. "Hang on boys!" she yelled as she slap-dashedly pointed the truck towards Joseph and the others, ducking momentarily when a couple of bullets came zinging by them before deciding to just throw caution to the wind and drive hellbent for leather across the way. Hang on boys, she whispered silently, hang on...
Walton made it to the front steps of Walton's Quarters, meeting 6 of his guys there. One of them being a former special ops. Fraus was his name. Walton nodded for them all to enter before him, clearing the place out as he entered last. He then turned to Fraus and spoke. "Go to the roof, and watch over the motorpool." And Fraus didn't hesitated. He took his orders and ran upstairs as Walton and the others began their climb to the basement.
One step at a time, they had their guns at the ready. They slowly turned the corner to reveal the chair was empty. Nick was gone. And Walton instantly knew that his group had rescued him. He smiled with a knowing smirk. He knew how to find this group. And considering they've been successful so far with this attack, they must be well established. But also a threat to his community none the less. So he wanted nothing more than to destroy their home and kill them all. That's the plan. They started a war that Walton was prepared for now.
He grabbed his walkie talkie and spoke firmly into it, addressing all of his army. "Cease fire. If they are at the motorpool, let them escape. Aki, assemble a team, you're going on a stealth mission. Follow them back to their base and stay in hiding. I want the location by the end of the night. Do not confront these people there. We'll let them think they've one and attack them tomorrow night."

As they fought to join Kara, Seth and the others, who were charging towards them, Joseph was in the process of drawing down on another Waltonville guard when he heard the worst sound one can hear in a fight....click. Pausing to reload, he quickly resumed firing when he saw Kara pull up near him, Dean, Nick and the others, a slap-dash grin on her face. "Need a lift, boys?" she called out to them.
"You got no idea," he said, smiling as he waved to the others. "Come on, let's get Nick aboard and let's get the hell outta' here," he said, holstering his .44 revolver and going back to his lever-action, watching the area around them for any further signs of activity. "Come on, come on," he said to them, "let's go."

Dean already saw the vehicle heading towards them. He was so relived to would make it out, but still very afraid of losing Nick, they still had to pull him through. He looked at Nick his face, checking on him, hoping he would be ok. His eyes looked up as he heard the voice of Kara asking if they needed a ride.
Dean tried to force a little smile, but he was mainly watching Nick. Joseph replied to her and told everyone to hurry and get going. They got Nick inside, Dean jumping in right behind him, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend, holding him, at this point he would even kill a dinosaur to protect him, he would get Nick out of there and pull him though.
Dean softly touched his cheek. “Hang in there sweetie, we’re going to pull you through, keep fighting.” He spoke softly. Then he looked at the door, hoping they would leave soon, while softly stroking Nick his cheek.

Relief washed over Aki like a tidal wave, quelling the thirst for murder just under his skin. Zac's words, his reassurances, brought him back down to reality. He was back in Waltonville, his senses eased once more, the dead boy just behind him proof of his rage. Aki listened as he explained that he was fine, and with every passing word, he felt his concern slowly taper down to pieces. As Zac reached out, Aki joined him in their brief embrace, though fire lingered in his palm as he pulled away.
"Nothing's gonna happen to you, not if I'm around. You don't have to thank me. I know you'd do the same for me." He nodded to him, Zac being the only person alive who had his full trust. "Thanks for coming to check up on me."
He smirked, the irony of the situation getting to him. Here they were, community smoking and falling to bits around them, and they were in the middle of it all, worried for each other. Zac said that they should clear the place out, and Aki agreed. He started to move out with his gun at the ready, but Walton's voice crackling through the radio gave him pause. He held it up and listened, his eyes falling on Zac's as he heard the commands.
"Understood," he said to Walton. The man had called for a cease fire, and as Aki enforced it among his own men, it was almost eerie how the mood change. The rampant gunfire came to a halt, and there was nothing but silence as the intruders scrambled to escape. Smoke billowed into the air, and Aki looked to Zac with determination. "Come with me. We'll gather the men and do as he asks."
Aki moved through the compound, through the rubble and mangled remains, and worked his way back to Nadia. He crouched behind the wall, giving her a brief once over before he looked to Zac. "What should we do with her?" He asked, despite being right in front of her. Aki had never been good at being tact with the feelings of others, and right now, he was most concerned with getting in their vehicles and following their orders.
Letting these people leave without raining hell down on their heads ate Aki to his core. They should kill them all, right here, right now. But Walton had a plan, or so he thought. Aki watched with anger as everyone stood aside, letting the intruders race off in their stolen vehicle. As he watched, fury burning in his glare, he caught Seth's eyes as they rushed by and fled the compound. With the people gone, a hollow, bitter hole formed in the pit of his stomach, and he quickly made his way to a vehicle and turned it on. "Zac, passenger seat. Men, in the back. Nadia, either get in the car or go wait in the house. Either choice is fine, but I need you to pick one and do it fast. Time is of the essence."
(With everyone from Hampton in the car, I figured it would be all right to have them actually leave. The thread is starting to unravel and drag ass. If you want me to change it so you can get another round of posting in before you vacate, though I don't know why you would wanna write the same post over and over again, let me know and I'll edit it.)
