10 minutes later... Pulling up to a stop in front of the National Guard Armory whose sign they'd seen earlier, Joseph grabbed his .44 revolver, quickly checking that it was loaded. Satisfied, he grabbed a handful of speedloaders - each loaded with .44 rounds - and pocked them in his front shirt pocket - and stepped out of the truck, opting to wait for Seth and the others to arrive. Leaning onto the door as they waited, Joseph said, "Alright, I don't see a hostile welcoming party, so we should be safe. Now, from what Kara said back at the Hampton, she got in through a back entrance, so that's what we're going to do. Hopefully, no one since has figured out which entrance she used to get in, so once the others get here, we'll go inside.
"There's two things in particular we'll be looking for inside there: any other weapons we can use, either against Waltonville or later on to protect the Hampton and any weapons and/or explosives we can use to knock down the front gate," Joseph continued. Looking over directly at Dean, he added, "Dean, I know it sucks having to make this stop, but if we don't, the plan doesn't work as advertised; once we go inside those tunnels, we'll be depending on Seth's group to knock down the front gate or we'll all be guests of Walton's and given what we just heard a little earlier, I'm not wishing that on any of us," pausing to look at the others.
God dam both these assholes were sticks in the mud, or had sticks up ther arses, whatever is funnier. It didn't help that they were both gorgeous and obviously a couple. He could feel the sexual tension radiating as they spoke to each other. Lucky bastsrds. Hawk smiled. "Now Pal, why don't you just relax," he said calmly placing a hand on Zac's shoulder, "just keep calm friend, you'll come around."
He smirked. "Now who's this Walton prick who won't even be man enough to come see me. Has to make his flying monekys do it. Sorry gorgeous flying monkeys." He winked at both Zac and Aki. "So anyone can stay? That's it, no hide clause. Not gonna find out this is some nazi death prison where you shhe secret tunnels and an underground laboratory. Where you experiment on people for kicks. Cause that idea would just be stupid," he said with a laugh.
The one, Asian, manly seemed off to him, he spoke and Hawk nodded along, thinking of what his last meal was before all. Shepherds pie? No waffles? Chicken and waffles? No wait, gummy bears and vodka. "Zac got. Z-man, Zac Attack, the Zac anator, Zac Time." He smirked again, "Zachary? Zachariah? Zac a'mole?"
He smiled. "So we just accept him as leader. This a cult? Or are you all just prisoners. Wow, must really be a sucker to fall for that. I mean look at you. Following some dude blindly, not likes he's a god or anything. You're brain washed. And I can't leave? What happens if I do? You going to stop me? Gonna hunt me down? Waste resources, energy, and time searching for me? Sound spineless chief."
Hawk moved around. "And you said don't touch you," he placed a hand on his shoulder. "So not like that? How about this." He lifted his hand and touched him again. "Or this." Again and again. He smiled. "Definetly not like this." He placed his hand on his shoulder once more. "How about this?" He said placing his hand on the other side. Hawk kept touching him, his shoulders over and over again. He noticed his jacket, the way the pocket had a permanent crease, something having sat in there for the last two years. He could only imagine what. Money? A note? Maybe it was a secret recipe? He had to make it.
"Quick over there," he said pointing to the sky. He reached his hand in, pulling a photo from the angry Asian man. Hawk immediate stepped back and grinned, "well would you look at this. Who's the bitch? She's a cutie alright, just looks at her. Those eyes, that fucksble mouth. My god, makes me twitch just thinking about it," he said with a laugh. "Here I though you and Zacpack were together, but now seeing this. You tapping that sweet sweet ass."
He could see he hit a nerve, something had poised tower dick off. "Wait, wait. This isn't mini tower dick is it? Guess that means she's single. Would yah maybe point me towards where she is. This thing hasn't been used in a while, and if blondie isn't gonnaput out, cutie here sure will." He smiled. "Come on, be s wing man." His hand rested on Aki's shoulder again.
Seth and his group pulled up behind Joseph's truck as they all head out. Looking around to see that things are safe, not doubting Joseph's ability, but doubting any luck they could have considering what's happened recently.
The night was cold, but anything could be better than what Nick and Zack are feeling. He approached Joseph in a soft tone. "So explosives and anything else to help us put up a good fight. Silencers and scopes would be perfect."

Dean had sort of controlled his anger, but he was still on edge. He listened to Joseph as he explained the plan, while looking outside. Soon his thought drifted away he was thinking of Nick, the scream, it didn’t leave his mind. Once more a tear ran over his cheek, but not more than one, Dean had no tears left, all gone, since he cried so much the last couple of days.
He looked back at Joseph as he heard his name. He listened as Joseph told him he knew it sucked they had to stop. Joseph then continued and made some good points on how this stop was necessary, but Dean didn’t care at all, Nick was the only thing that counted.
“It’s not like I have an actual say in it, god fucking dammit.” Dean spoke looking at him. “Just let’s go inside and hurry up, so we can get Nick out of there.” He said. “Cause you know what?” he asked looking at him. “Damage is done, that scream won’t ever leave my mind, Nick will never forget the pain he felt, it must have been horrible, I can’t imagine what’s he’s going through and all by himself.” He spoke slightly raising his voice. ”So yeah forgive me, if I don’t understand the stop.” He added.
“Now let’s get inside, so we can get this over with.” He spoke before grabbing his gun from the holster.
Zac heard how Aki put him in his place and warned him. Zac felt relieved inside, they could always count on each other. Zac chuckled as Hawk was stupid enough to put his hand on Aki his shoulder, followed by a brilliant comment of Aki and a softly shake so the hand was gone from his shoulder. But then Hawk spoke again and told Zac to relax and placed his hand on Zac his shoulder now. “I think his best bet is to shut up and don’t touch anymore people.” Zac spoke looking over his shoulder. “Cause you’ll lose your hands and tongue very soon.” He added stern, before removing the guy his hand.
Zac then felt the pad on his shoulder from Aki. He looked at Aki and gave him a friendly nod to let him know he was alright. His eyes would show how thankful he was to have Aki. Then Zac just stood next to Aki as he explained how Waltonville worked etc… .
Just then the crazy motherfucker started again with the names. Zac was on the edge of once more losing his patience. “Look asshole, It’s Zac, last warning, next time I’ll burn my name on your arm, so you can keep reading it.” He said slightly raising his voice as he looked at him.
He then asked some question, but Zac was pretty sure Aki would answer them. He took this time to calm himself. Just then Zac noticed how Hawk joked about the touching and kept playing around with Aki. He was about to step in when Hawk pulled the photo from Aki his daughter out of the pocket of Aki his jacket.
He started to call her names, call her a bitch and how she had a fuckable mouth. Zac last it, he knew how much his daughter meant to him. They carted for each other, so everything that would hurt Aki, would hurt him too. “Enough!” he yelled as loud as he could. He then grabbed his gun raised it and was ready to pull the trigger. Zac would have hit him and break every bone in his body, but he knew Aki had to do it, no one could speak like that about his daughter and get away with it. “Hit him as hard as you can before i do it, after that I’ll give him the final shot, but I was pretty sure you wanted him to meet your fists first.” Zac spoke stern. “He needs to suffer for this.” He added. Howk couldn't have known, but Zac didn't give a single fuck, besides you don't steal for someone his pockets. Zac knew Aki would be furious because of what Hawk said, but he also know, it would have hurt Aki his feelings and it would remind Aki in what danger his daughter was. Zac was ready to be there for his friend, talk to him, but not before they learned this son a bitch a lesson.
(Zac would have hit him with all the power he had, but I figured Aki would want to do it.)
Hadley goes in and gets some extra arrows for her bow. She nods, understanding Dean's frustration, "Agreed. The longer we hang around more than we need to here, the more time we lose to have the advantage of surprise on our side."
Following Seth over to Joseph's truck, sidearm within reach, Kara went over in her mind how she got into the Armory the first time around. "Hadley's right; the longer we wait here, the more risk we take. The entrance I used to get in earlier is 'round the back; if you guys'll follow me, we'll get in, see what we can find and get out as fast as possible."

Just outside of Waltonville..... Well, hello Waltonville, Joseph whispered to himself; staring down at the opposing stronghold with a pair of binoculars, he studied the landscape around and in front of them and the outer perimeter of Waltonville, noting with a grim slyness where the guardposts were in relation to the front gate....sucks to be them, he smiled - if one could describe his smile as that resembling one of Joseph's Mormon forebears during the Utah War of 1857; it was the smile of someone who, if everything went to plan, was about to help unleash holy hell on Waltonville.
Glancing over towards where the other truck was parked, he smiled as he watched Kara and a couple of others working on packing Seth's truck with as much explosive as possible; turning back towards Waltonville, he set down his binoculars and quietly called over to the others. "Seth!" motioning at him to come over to where Joseph was standing at. "Seth, come over here!" turning back to look towards Waltonville once more.

Aki didn't know what it was about this guy, but he just bothered him. Perhaps it was the way that he ran his mouth off without fear of consequences, said whatever came to mind no matter how crude it was. Perhaps it was the way that he touched both him and Zac, the latter of which bothered him the most between the two. Or perhaps it was the way that he was right. Walton's compound was vast and protected, a brilliant gem of a stronghold that kept them all safe. But his leadership, his rule, had become warped and twisted, and Aki knew it. When he had first joined, he had brushed off the provider speech in exchange for a place to recuperate while he looked for his daughter. During his time here, he enjoyed the freedom to look for her, with people and supplies backing him. Walton had helped him immensely without even knowing it, and he chose to stay because he wanted to. But he knew that people were scared now, and that things had changed. It was in the air, choking them all, and Hawk's insistence on reminding him didn't sit well with him.
He teased Zac, making little quips about his name, and Aki saw how worked up he got. This guy was a master at getting under other people's skin. He would be toxic for this community, dangerous. Aki clenched his fist as he thought of the compromised community, the way that Walton would allow it for no other reason than to give everyone a chance. He was foolish. No one deserved a chance, not now. As he poked fun at Zac, Aki caught his eyes and nodded to him. He would let Zac do whatever he wanted to this guy, and take the heat for it from Walton later. He had made too much of a mess already, and disrespected Walton in his absence. Aki was sure that he could make a case for Zac and himself.
"Listen, Walton doesn't want anyone to die, that much is true." He took a step forward and lowered his voice, trying to keep the residents of Waltonville in the safety of their homes. He didn't need any witnesses to his threats, not that he thought the people would turn against them. He had protected them in all of his time here, and in a way, he had as much loyalty as Walton did. "But that doesn't mean that I can't beat you within an inch of your life. Keep fucking with him. I'll sew your mouth shut if I have to."
But this guy didn't want to learn, didn't want to listen. He started touching him again, tapping him on his shoulders, his body. Aki let out a low, slow sigh. He felt the nudges and stared him down, eyes cold, his lips set in an annoyed frown. He should have killed him up in that tower, made all of this easier on everyone involved. But Walton wouldn't allow it. Perhaps this one time, he could make an exception. "Walton doesn't want to kill you. But I am not Walton." With every nudge, every touch, his patience shrank more and more. "I will end your life in a second. Don't test me. I'm warning you."
On the last nudge, Aki's hand twitched, and he was about to grab his throat out of instinct. But he felt the man in his pocket, just for a second, and he froze. He stared him down in stark silence, and as he held the picture of Haruka, he might as well have been holding her himself. His words sliced through Aki's chest worse than any knife could, and for a moment, he felt himself splintering. He heard Zac yelling in defense of his daughter, his very best friend, but it sounded distant, far away. It echoed into his ears and bounced around his mind as he watched Hawk. But he wasn't just Hawk anymore. He was any man, any thug that could get their hands on her in his unfortunate absence. His innocent daughter, his baby girl, his life, tarnished by them. He pictured Hawk all over her, in her, and the mere idea of it was enough to make his blood run cold. He heard Zac again, but it was sputtered in his stressed mind, and all he could focus on was the image of Haruka under Hawk, possessed by him, and even the very idea of it was enough to shatter him and crack his control. Without a second thought, without even realizing he was doing it, he pulled his pistol out and mirrored Zac's stance. Without even the slightest hesitation, he pulled the trigger and shot him straight through the head. He wasn't joking now, wasn't laughing. He dropped to the ground and bled out in the street, and Aki was quick to snatch up the picture of his daughter before any pooling blood had a chance to damage it.
Aki smoothed the corner that had creased and ran his thumb over her face. So perfect, so precious. He tucked the picture back into his pocket and tried to regain control. He almost felt as though he had blacked out, and he didn't feel at home in his own body. He kept the gun at his side and stared down at Hawk's body for just a moment before he turned his gaze on Zac. He didn't say anything, only watched him. For the first time since he had lost his daughter, he felt completely cracked. He would need that drink later, and an entire pack of cigarettes. But more than that, he needed his companionship, his words. They could have it all later, after they explained what had happened to Walton.
Waltonville is right there, looking like a very sturdy stronghold with guards on every side just like Hadley has told him. He knew it would be difficult, but the plans they've laid out and the strategies he can think of were a force to be reckoned with. The wind blew through the trees, signifying the night being nothing more than a cold, ruthless night. And if they weren't careful, the wrong blood could be spilled. Especially if something goes wrong with the explosives that they're packing into the truck.
With his assault rifle held close he hears Joseph call to him. Walking over to him as he spies on the stronghold through his binoculars, he kneeled down next to him and asked, "Yeah buddy, watcha got?". Speaking with a very calm, and quiet voice as he knew Joseph's mind was in the works as he actually got the actual image of the stronghold in that giant brain of his.

Dean was so nervous, all the waiting around killed him, part of him understood they needed a good plan or would all die instead of getting Nick out, but his heart and the will to save Nick was in control at the moment.
They all grouped up and ready to get in, but Joseph wanted to do another check up. So as he and Seth talked, Dean was just standing on his own, trying to calm himself. He was ready for anything, but he would get Nick out of there, no matter what.
“Hold on Nicky, I’m almost there.” He spoke softly to himself as yet another piece of his heart broke out of sadness. He then pushed the sadness away and called his fighting spirit out. He walked over to Joseph and Seth. “So how are things?” he asked. “We shouldn’t waste anymore time, I think we got a decent plan.” He added. “So let’s go through it once more time and get the fuck inside.” He spoke calmly.
As Zac had his gun pointed at Hawk, he could see how shocked Aki was, it was as if he could feel the pain that this guy caused, by saying those things about his daughter. Not only the pain, but also the anger, the sadness, the fear, with just a few words, he had pushed Aki down. But he would get his bro out that that dark place later, comfort him, reassure him, be there for him.
Matt his eyes went from Aki back to Hawk, when Aki would be done, he would have his way with him too, he would get the beating of his life, before they would finally kill him. But it took awhile before Aki finally reacted, Zac his eyes moved from Hawk to Aki all the time. If Hawk would try something Zac would shoot him without hesitation, nobody would harm his friend especially someone who already harmed him mentally.
But just then Aki raised is gun and shot a bullet right through Hawk his head. Zac flinched as he heard the shot, he was also surprised, this guy didn’t deserve a quick dead. Then again, someone that talked like that about the daughter of his best friend, shouldn’t breathe a minute longer.
He looked at Aki and meanwhile holstered his gun and he saw how it got to him, which was normal, but Aki was in bad shape, he wasn’t on this planet anymore. Aki grabbed the picture and ran his fingers over it, now Zac was a tough guy, but seeing how that got him all emotional. He wasn’t crying or anything, but seeing Aki like this hurt him. Finally Aki turned around and looked at Zac, they didn’t say a word, but their eyes said enough. Zac his eyes would show that he was there for Aki, while Aki his eyes told how broken he was inside.
Zac didn’t say anything, he just walked over to Aki and threw one arm over his shoulder and patted his back a couple times. Before backing out his whispered in his ear. “We’ll find her, don’t let that filthy asshole destroy your hope.” Then when he let go of Aki he whispered again. “We’ll talk about this later at my place, so hang in there ok?” Then he looked around and glared at the people the citizens that were looking at them. A glare of Zac was enough to make them all move again, doing the things they were doing before the gunshot. “Guess we should let Walton now?” he asked calmly. “I can do it if you want, so you can just have some time off ?” he asked. Zac wanted Aki to be ok, he would do anything for that man, since he knew Aki would do the same for him.

Aki's rage started to settle, and as he came back down to reality, he could barely remember shooting Hawk. It was as though he had blinked, and in that instance, everything changed. It had happened similarly when Hadley had almost killed Zac with her antics. It was like flipping a switch, and Haruka was the ultimate overload. There weren't many things that he cared about in this world, and his daughter was his most prized treasure. As Zac threw his arm around him and reassured him, the fuzzy edges around his vision ebbed away, and he felt himself become grounded again. He had lost control, just for a moment, and it was rare that such an occurrence happened. He nodded at Zac's words, his eyes showing the appreciation that his mouth couldn't say, and he looked towards Hawk with empty eyes.
"We can let him know in the morning." Aki stepped towards Hawk and crouched down, grabbing his ankles. The townspeople that had started to mill around at the gunshot quickly dispersed at Zac's pointed glares, and he was just glad that he didn't have to deal with civilians. He had always been terrible at that, and being as on edge as he had been, it wasn't a good idea for anyone involved. "He's indisposed. We'll tell him that he threatened the community when we see him next." It wasn't a lie, not in so many words. He had arrived with a loud distraction, set it ablaze, and then antagonized his men. If Aki hadn't killed him, Walton probably would have.
"Grab his arms," Aki said. He waited until Zac arrived to help him, and together, they lugged the body towards the gates. They made quick work of climbing the tower, and once they got to the top, Aki chucked the body over the gates. It hit the ground with a sickening crack, and as blood continued to trickle into the dirt, Aki directed his attention to the surrounding area. The truck was still ablaze, and it attracted walkers from nearby. He stepped back from the tower window and nodded back towards the ground, the corpse. "A warning for those that want to fuck with us."
Aki headed back down the steps with Zac, and as they walked away from the gates and into the community, back towards Nadia, he had no idea just how many people were on their way to fuck with them at that moment.
As she worked on filling the front of one truck with explosives, Kara kept wondering if the plan was crazy enough to work...or just plain crazy, she mused. We''ll know soon enough. In a sense, it was a crazy plan: while Joseph's group snuck in through the tunnels Hadley had mentioned back at the Hampton, Seth's group - including Kara - would wait until they were inside, then send the explosive-laden truck - a rolling truck bomb, she called it - right into the front-gate. Once it hit the front gate, the resulting inertia of the truck would depress the explosive triggers, detonating the half-dozen or so canisters of C4 explosive and blowing the truck and the front gate into smithereens. Packing them next to the engine block would add the cast-iron engine's mass to the blast as well....meaning anyone near the front gate would either get killed by the blast itself or get shredded by all the metal blasting outward.
After several more minutes of frantic wiring - and a few muffled curses to boot - Kara got the rest of the jerry-rigged explosives in place, wired up and dead-man's-switch set; gently closing up the hood so as not to set them off prematurely, she whistled over to Joseph, Seth and the others, giving them a thumbs up to let them know they were ready to go.

(Seth) With his assault rifle held close he hears Joseph call to him.
(Dean) “Hold on Nicky, I’m almost there.” He spoke softly to himself as yet another piece of his heart broke out of sadness.
"Okay, here's the plan," Joseph said, pointing out several places as he did. "Dean, you, me, Hadley and two of Seth's guys," pointing towards the other two members of his group whose name escaped him, "are going to go inside Waltonville, using the tunnel system Hadley spoke about. Once we get inside, we're going to get Nick out and if we have to, we're going to kill every son of a bitch inside to do so," remembering his words to Seth back in Johnson City. "While that's going on," pointing out the road they were perched along, the truck - now packed with explosives - and the guardposts along the wall, "Seth and Kara are going to get that truck rolling down the road towards the front gate there; if Kara's got it rigged right, when it hits the front-gate," smacking his fist into his other hand for emphasis, "its' gonna' blow the front gate apart, taking it out and hopefully taking out those two guard posts right next to it.
"If everything works, our groups link up inside, 'borrow' a vehicle or two from Waltonville, and ride right out what's left of the front door, stopping here to take the other truck with us back to Johnson City." Looking at the others, one by one, he added, "Any thoughts, everyone? If not, then I suggest we get started now." As he motioned for Dean, Hadley and the others to join him, he offered a handshake to Seth and said, "See you inside, buddy."
Hadley nods and takes out the map as she slides her daggers into their holsters and bow and arrows on to her back. She studies the map and finds the aqueducts, " The tunnels lead through here. After that things get a bit more complicated. And stay alert. No doubt there will be more guards around so, we'll need to be careful about where we stick our heads out of."

Dean listened and nodded as Joseph explained the plan one last time. When he heard the part where Joseph said that they would kill everyone in their way if they have to, Dean looked him in the eyes. “Oh you can be sure of that, I won’t let anyone or anything stop me.” He said slightly raising his voice.
Dean then heard how they would break the front gate and meet up inside, steal a vehicle and get out. “Sounds like a good plan, now let’s go.” He spoke. “Good luck everyone and thanks for doing this.” He spoke calm. “You all can’t imagine what this means to me, you are all risking your lives and it just gets to me.” He said pausing feeling his emotions coming up. “I know I’ve been hard one everyone the past days, but I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank you all.” He spoke doing his best to push his tears down.
Then he closed his eyes and when he opened them, his look changed and his eyes were filled with rage. “Now let’s get my boyfriend the hell away from those assholes.” He spoke. “Hadley, lead the way.” He added.
Zac finally saw his close friend, coming back from the dark place, he had just been to. But it wasn’t done yet, Zac saw how broken Aki was, just the looking in his eyes, told him more than words could say.
Zac nodded as Aki said they would let Walton know in the morning. “Alright.” He spoke calm. Then he helped Aki with disposing the body. As they grabbed him, Zach heard how Aki told him, what the would say to Walton. “Yes, sounds good to me.” He replied. He then heard how Aki asked to grab his arms and he did as he was asked. They walked and were able to toss the body over the gates.
The sound the body made, when meeting up with the ground, would send shivers down most people their spines, but for Zac it didn’t do anything. He had seen enough, been through enough and this guy just hurt his friend mentally, he hated it and he didn’t deserve some sort of funeral, treating him like garbage was what he deserved.
Zac heard how Aki said it was a warning to not fuck with them. “Agreed.” He said as he placed a hand on Aki his shoulder, giving him a reassuring squeeze. He then followed Aki down the steps and they walked back to Nadia. “Well let’s go home, in this case my home.” He said with a smile. He then looked one last time at Aki and nodded one time, while his eyes were giving him a sign they would talk once there. Zac wanted to help his friend, comfort him.

Nadia followed Aki and Zac in silence, finished helping them move the bodies over the gate. She was grateful that they were at least giving her a roof over her head for now, until she could speak to their esteemed leader, who seemed to be...in dire need of space for the most part.
Best to let sleeping dogs lay for now and all that.

"Dean's right, we need to go now," Joseph said, motioning for the others in his group - Dean, Hadley and Seth's two friends - to join him. For a couple moments, he checked to make sure that not only his .44 revolver but his lever-action - also a .44 - were both loaded and ready to go and that were plenty of rounds to go with them. "Hopefully, we'll meet again." Looking over at Hadley, he added, "Alright, Hadley, let's get over to those aquaducts and get this show on the road."
