Michael moved swiftly to the wall hearing the gun shot looking back he noticed Albert was alert "Thats odd. They dont often have foot patrols 'round here..." Michael looked down the next street seeing in the distance a man holding a rifle conducting a search. Must be a livd target for those shots. This could be keeping the guards occupied?
He waited for the group to fully catch up and anyone to voice opinion.

As they made their way across town, Stephanie kept an eye on everyone, making sure that not only did everyone stay together, but that they didn't get lost along the way as well. Block by block, street by street, alleyway by alleyway, the same routine played out for Stephanie: watch as Michael and Kevin crossed, then cross herself, then wait for Michelle and Tory to join them, then watch Roman and Albert as they crossed, all the while glancing around, watching to see if anyone - or any group - was watching them.
Suddenly, she - along with the rest of the group - heard a gunshot. Quickly looking around to see if she could tell where the shot came from - a fruitless endeavor - Stephanie quietly whispered to Michael, "What happened? Where'd that shot come from?"
Rebecca was still running and was the confronted with a street full of cars seeing no easy way through she attempted to climb over the top. She was stood looking down the street the cars littered the road for near two blocks. She then heard a shotgun cocking behind her.
"Down girl... giiit." The one man said. She looked back and saw three of them looking at her. "Well what a catch we have here. Alone... in the dangerzone. Your lucky we found you. No point ru..."
As the man spoke another had approached her from behind and handcuffed her whilst throwing a bag over her head.
"Keep calm, just taking you somewhere safe"
Becky kicked and squirmed but was not stupid enough to scream. She was cuffed, any walkers would get her if she attracted attention.

Michael was watching through his scope as the girl was taken and responded to Stephanie "Shit... a block, block and a half North... five men, look to have national guard training and gear. Just kidnapped a girl"
He sat against the wall "They didnt have national guard troops before. Must have recruited. This is going to be a lot harder now. We need to keep a low profile"
He rubbed the sweat from his forehead looking at Stephanie "If they get us they will take you girls hostage. Kill the men if they have no use"
Lucy was in one of the hummer v's headed towards the scene they had caught the latest girl. She pulled up once she had received the coordinates via radio.
Stepping out Lucy walked towards the girl and pulled the bag off her head "Ah arent you a pretty one" She said as she looked the girl in the eyes. Becky sneered at Lucy.
Lucy responded by slapping her across the face hard. "We will make use of you. Place her in the trunk of the car. She can work as my new assistant. Im tired of the current one, he bores me"
Lucy stepped back in the car with her personal guard and began to drive back towards the Office.

Roman looked around instinctively gripping his gun a bit tighter when the gun shot rang. His mind was racing as of why did someone shoot, walkers maybe....no only an idiot or someone very desperate would shoot at a walker which would bring even more of them. So it might have been those guys Michael was talking about, the slavers. Whoever it was he felt really sorry for, he couldn't understand why people would resort to this. We all are afraid but...that doesn't mean we got to treat each other like animals right? Everyone here right now is a proof of that.
Seeing the whole party stop concerned him, something was ahead of them, possibly the slavers. Hopefully they could get past them without anyone noticing but it was also possible we would have a gunfight on our hands.

"Neither of those things is happening if I got anything to say about it," Stephanie replied, pausing to take a furtive glance over at where the earlier commotion had come from. Taking a few moments to make up her mind, she found herself in a quandary: either they could wait and let whatever happen happen or try to intervene. Neither idea sounded good, she thought, but we can't just stay and not do anything. Then she thought, maybe we could sneak by them; looking over at Michael, she said, "I think I got an idea, but I'm gonna' need everyone's help," motioning for everyone to gather 'round. As she waited, she thought to herself, "Okay, Honor, I hope you know just what the fuck you're doing here..."

Michael looked at her shocked "Did you hear me... Please dont tell me you wanna save her? I don't want anything to do with these people..." He felt horrible as the words were on his tongue
"I hate to be the guy to say this, but shes in the car now... they are leaving the area. Lets go. That girl wont die. She may escape on her own" He understood Stephanie and anyone's desire to help. He had a little sister and sites like this killed him inside.
He knew he could, in-fact certainly would receive backlash but that girl was caught. The group was vastly, insanely outnumbered. He would try keep everyone alive but he knew too much... He felt only chance of leaving the city alive bar some strong intervention by another group was to sneak out now.

"No, I'm not that stupid," Stephanie replied, trying to keep her voice as quiet as possible. "What I was going to suggest, however, was this: if I remember correctly, Albert's cache is over that way," pausing to point in the general direction they had been headed in. "Unfortunately, our mystery guests are in the way...so, what I going to suggest, Michael," pausing to point at a couple of halfway-decent abandoned vehicles, "was that I try to hotwire one of those vehicles; if I could get one started, I was then going to use it as a distraction so that all of us," pausing once more to wave a finger in the air, "could slip past our mystery guests over there. That's what I was suggesting, Michael...but I digress."
Looking around, she whispered to Albert, "Ay yo', Albert, any other ways to get 'round these wanna-be soldiers over here or should we go with plan A instead?"
Al watched the situation unfold and he could feel the urge to open fire on the kidnappers but knew that was suicide. "Stephanie's right, her plan is probably our only bet. I have no idea what's on any other streets right now and, if we play our cards right, we still have the eliminate of surprise on these guys." He moved up to get a better look. "You're not gonna distract them on your own though, take someone with you to watch your back when things get scary." He turned and looked at the alley next to him, noticing a Fire Escape. "I say we send our best shot up onto that roof." He pointed to the fire escape, then he checked his rifle over, making sure it was ready for firing. "We'll have to be quick, who knows how long it'll be until they get away from us."

Tory had visibly stiffened and squeezed Michelle's hand when the shot rang out. She stayed silent for the most part as Albert, Michael, and Steph debated what to do. A girl had been kidnapped and if it were her...she'd want to be rescued, but Tory couldn't see what the others could; she relied on their assessment and she didn't want it to be her. Following Albert's train of thought to the fire escape, she whispered ahead timidly,"If we can't save her, can't we just wait them out up there?" It wasn't ideal, but it saved them from fighting, and it meant none of them would have to be put in danger. Though, she didn't know long that would take or how noisy the ladder might be. The girl was growing restless standing in the alley with danger around the corner; they could be spotted at any moment. Her heart was beating out of her chest with nervousness. She watched as Albert checked his rifle, hoping she wouldn't have to do the same with the gun in her backpack.

Taking another moment to look at their mystery guests, as she'd put it earlier, Stephanie then glanced up towards the alleyway Albert mentioned. "Okay...okay, okay, I got it, I got it," she said. "Alright, Plan B: unless anyone has any objections, Albert, you head up to that fire escape and cover us from up high. While he's covering us there, I'm going to try and hotwire those cars; if I can start them up, I'll try to direct them towards our mystery guests as a diversion. If they take the bait - and that's a big if - everyone else, take off towards Albert's cache, which," pausing to look right at Albert - "if I remember correctly, Albert, is just on the other side of where they're at," pointing in the general direction. "If it works, they take the bait and we skoot on by them...if not, well, we'll get to that bridge when we get to it..
"But," Stephanie added, pausing to look over at Tory, "Albert's right; I'm going to need someone to watch my back, so....you feel like dancing on the razor's edge, Tory? While I try to hotwire those vehicles, you watch my back, okay?" She hated asking, but Albert was right; she wasn't going to get it done on her own, so it made sense to have someone keeping an eye on her.

"Uhh ya...I uh...ya." A knot formed in the young girl's chest after Stephanie spoke. What about Roman? Or Kevin? Or Michael? She wouldn't let Steph go alone without someone to watch her back, she couldn't, but, could she say no? I'm not a coward...am I?Shoot. Did they hear my idea? She gently unshouldered her pack and lowered it to the ground. Reaching in, Tory pulled out her pistol; it was cold and awkward in her hand. What would they think of her if she did say no? Tory racked the slide; it was difficult for her small fingers but she managed it, careful to keep the muzzle aimed at the ground and the safety on, her finger off the trigger. Would it be selfish, or greedy? The teen looked up to her companions, both figuratively and literately. She already thought of them as family. Isn't this what family does for one another? Tory was on the spot and she felt every second of it.
"I don't wanna kill anyone. I-I've never killed anyone before." Or even a walker for that matter. Tory wasn't sure how much help she would be. She was capable with a gun before the apocalypse, but this wasn't like hunting. She didn't close her eyes when she aimed at deer; she didn't flinch at the sight of a grouse. Tory closed her eyes for a split second. Her throat was stuck as she waited for the plan; she'd go if she had too, if Stephanie wanted her too. The teen glanced back at the sky. The pigeons were gone. Tory missed them.

Noticing Tory's nervous expression, Stephanie reached over to her to try and calm her. "Hey, relax," she said, adding, "remember when I hotwired that Humvee? Well, same drill as before, only with more potential eyes around." Looking over at the others, she said, "Unless anyone's got any objections, I suggest we get started. Time's a'wastin', folks." She hated to push the issue, but she figured someone had to it...why not her?
"Wait." Al said, noticing how nervous and awkward Tory was with her gun. "Let me go with you. If things get hectic, I'd feel better if you had someone with a bit more fire arms experience, no offense." He said, putting a hand on Tory's shoulder. "Better to play it safe and have as little risk as possible in this situation. These guys are all trained to be able to kill effectively and without much hesitation. I may be a bit rusty, but I got similar training myself." He looked at Steph, seeing if she approved his proposal.

"Al you should stay here with the others, better to keep the good shots here incase you got to bail us out or if worse comes to worse, leave us behind and got to gun and run it. I'll go."
While the rest were making up plans he was just silently thinking on the possibilities if anything was gonna happen. If the plan was gonna work they needed someone that was quick on their feet, can move easily without detection and at least one person had shooting ability. Can't risk too much or screw it up for everyone in the long run. And this way, he could be more of a use. He hefted his shotgun on his shoulder and looked at Michael.
"I'm quick on my feet and I know how to use this. I'm not as innocent as I look if it comes down to....that. Plus we don't have much time so we need to do this now."
He wasn't just doing this to protect everyone else, that girl down there....he wanted to help anyway he could and if this plan worked, maybe they can get through this and saving her too.

"Slow down Max!" They redhead shouted at her companion who drove with obviouse nervouseness. Looking down at where the speed bump had caused her to spill the last of her hot.. Or in Fran's case cold chocolate onto her pants. Glancing at the big buildings that went by as she remained quite silent with her go box on but sitting on her lap without her ears to it. The blue eyed woman knew it was loud enough for max or herself to hear. Parking the vehical a bit of ways from where she saw the girl get kidnapped. Looking around while slowly shaking her head. Maxwell tried to place his hand on her shoulder but all she did was shrug it away. "How in the hell are we going to deal with people like this." Mumbling to herself. Looking at her go box in the drivers side seat waiting for more commentary from the bitch herself.
The gangs at first were a very simple task to get rid of because most of them had lacked a organized plan. Thinking back on it all the Hive was was a system or organized plans and drilled. If not followed the answer was fairly simple. A punishment so they would hopefully not do it again. Bright blue eyes on a pale face looked around at the tall buildings around her. Concidering the possibility of the mad woman's group that could try to attack. The afterward image was one of the many kill squads coming fighting a worthy fight for the death of two fellow survivors. None of it was good as long as death stocked it's ugly head.

A sense of relief flooded over Tory as both Albert and than Roman offered to go in her place, but it was accompanied by a twinge of guilt. What if he gets hurt? What if Albert runs into trouble up above? She was still timid about it all, but she made an effort to try and keep her fear controlled. "I-I can go if you need me too...it'll be just like the Humvee if we're quiet, right? No shooting?" She wasn't sure if she believed that, but she figured that by being vertically challenged she'd stand out less; Roman was very tall by her books and in her mind that equaled a higher chance of being seen, no matter how much better he was at providing cover. Tory didn't want a battle. "Shouldn't someone cover Albert in case somebody comes up behind him?" It seemed like a slim possibility to the girl, but if these people were as dangerous as she believed..."I can't reach the ladder but I'm an alright runner."
It was perhaps naive of her, but the teen had to make one more innocent suggestion before hearing the adults' decision on what might become the scariest moment of her life. "Is it too late for us to backtrack and find a way to go around?" Please don't be. Pretty please don't be. She set her gun on the ground and retied her laces tightly, double knotting them. Tory figured she was probably the worst choice for fighting of them all besides Michelle, whose deaf, but she also figured Stephanie had to know that when she asked. Time was wasting, she wouldn't argue one way or another their choice.

"I-I can go if you need me too...it'll be just like the Humvee if we're quiet, right? No shooting?"
"Exactly," Stephanie replied. "Last thing we want to do is use our weapons; if we can get over there, hotwire those vehicles and send them flying at our mystery guests, the better a distraction we'll make so we can get around them." Looking over towards Albert, she added, "Albert, take off for the fire escape; as soon as you're in position, Tory, Roman and I," motioning between them, "will make for those vehicles. Once we get there, I'll see if I can hotwire them; if I can - and if there's a way to send them over there," motioning back to where the mystery guests were, "we'll send them over.
"Hopefully, they'll take the bait and see what's going on with the vehicles...the minute they bite, all of us - and I mean, all of us - join back up and we take off like hell towards Albert's cache." Looking around, it felt weird to Stephanie to be taking charge of the group - she had to remind herself that Michael was nominally in charge - but she also knew the sooner they got by this mystery group they'd seen, the better it'd be for all of them. "Unless anyone objects, let's get this show on the road, shall we?"
Michelle sat there, hunched down by Tory. She heard it all, but appeared to be completely lost and confused. Truth was, she honestly wasn't sure what to do. She didn't like either idea. If they sat here, they were just waiting to be caught, and if they let Stephanie go, she might get caught, or worse. Albert wanted to go with her, and that kid Roman. She glanced around at everyone, and tugged on Tory's arm. She shrugged off her pack and opened it. Inside she rummage through and pulled out to small metal objects. Flash grenades. Mick had shoved stuff into her pack, and she hadn't been sure how or when to use half of this, but it was here. She held it out to Tory, and looked at Stephanie and Micheal.
Michelle didn't speak, but made a soft , low sound. Her eyes stared from one to the other. She didn't have time to write down an explanation of how or why she had them, but it was obvious they girl had been to some sort of official place. Military or police, since she the armored vest she gave to Kevin and now these and the rations.
