As Seth and Dean entered into the fray, they witness Joseph with his weapon on a woman claiming to be a sheriff from before the world died. Obviously trembling in fear, she showed no signs of a threat to Seth. Seth, the man who's willing to give anyone in this world a chance without a second thought stepped up to Joseph placing his hand on his gun, lowering it. "Joseph it's fine." He then glanced at her with, "We have a place a few streets over. Go with the gentlemen outside and he'll lead you there and they'll give you a room. I promise you, you're in safe hands. Just promise me, you're not on these streets in a few hours. Things are gonna get nasty." He said as he looked back over to the office door that Joseph had kept shut. Seeing a shadow in the window.
"We got to get those chains." He said to Dean letting Joseph take care of any further issues with the woman as Dean and Seth head into the other room where the spool sits on a shelf. In a swift motion the two assume the position and lift with their legs, with Seth backing out of the room first, they carry the chain out of the station and load it up in the back of the truck. "This'll do for sure. Woo!" Pumped that the plan is working out so far. Psyched that the hotel will be secured and safe at the end of the day, Seth headed to the drivers seat waiting on the others.
As she stood, seemingly on the verge of tears, Kara felt somewhat relieved when another individual walked in and stepped between her and Joseph, offering her shelter...and warning her about what was about to happen. "Thank you," she quietly said to the man - Seth, he said he was, she thought - before hauling off and giving Joseph the strongest open-handed slap to the face she could deliver; as he stood, wiping a drop of blood from his lower lip - I must've connected good, she mused - she pointed over at Joseph and added, "Fuck you....there, I had to say it. What do you need me to help you with?" she asked, wanting to get things back to some semblance of normal.

For a moment Joseph stood stunned, the left side of his face still stinging from both Kara's slap and from what she'd said. Taking a moment to rub along his lower lip - I deserved that, he grimly thought - he snapped to and got back to the business at hand. "You know how to take down a wall?" he asked as they two of them walked outside to join Dean, Seth and Nick. "Well," he continued, "that's what we're getting ready to do." Watching as the others continued working, he asked, "Well, you want to help us here?"
"What, and miss all the fun?" Kara replied, smiling, thoughts of what took place earlier gone from her mind. Watching as Seth climbed into one vehicle, she ran over and banged on the side of the vehicle. "Hey," she said, signaling him, "if you need an extra vehicle, I got a F250 diesel parked about a hundred, 125 meters down the road I'll bring up and use as an extra vehicle if you need." Without waiting, she snarkishly added, "Oh, and you might want to tell Loverboy over there," pointing to Dean, "to get his hearing checked sometime; when I broke into the police station earlier, I was about fifty meters away from him and his friend, what's his name? If they hadn't been busy, they'd heard me bust that window out," hoping to lighten the mood of what seemed to be a dark task ahead of them all.
As Seth starts the truck, he hears a banging on the side of the truck of Kara suggesting that they use her Diesel. "Uh yeah, that could work better than this piece haha. Hop in and I'll take you to it then we can all meet back up at Hampton, hand out the radios and get everybody in their position so we can get a move on things." He said with a smile as he admires the nice breeze despite it being winter. "By the way, my name's Seth, how about you miss?"

"Alright," Kara replied, climbing inside Seth's truck and pointing down towards where her truck was parked at. "Name's Kara, nice to meet you, Seth," she added, smiling at her apparent change of fortune, having stared down the barrel of a gun just a few minutes in to helping with whatever they were planning to do; hopefully, she thought, things will turn out better here than back in Kentucky...

Dean listened as the woman spoke. He wasn’t sure if she was really honest, but they had to give fellow survivors the benefit of doubt. Seth then joined the party but he seemed like he was trusting her, wasn’t his judgment too early?
He told her to followed the men outside to camp. “If you trust her, guess I’ll do too.” Dean spoke softly. “Name is Dean, see you back at base.” He added looking at her. Dean then nodded as Seth spoke about the chains. “Yes let’s go” he spoke softly. Dean chuckled with Seth his enthusiastic reaction as they got the chain onto the truck. “You know what, I like it when people are enthousiastic." he said with a smile.
Dean got in the truck with Seth. And heard how he told his name to the woman from earlier. He already introduced before, so he didn’t mingle in the conversation and kept quiet, just looking at them.

As Joseph watched Dean, Seth and the newcomer Kara head just a little ways down so that she could get her truck and bring it over so that they knock those walls down, he walked over to where Nick was. "How ya' holding up, Nick?" he asked, hoping a little bit of conversation might lighten things up before they got to work on knocking the walls of the 'safe zone' down.
With the three in the truck Seth hangs his head out the window. "Hey Joseph. We're going to go pick up her Diesel and we'll swing back by. You take this truck with the others and go back to the hotel. Get everybody in their positions and said Davey towards the safe zone. I'll meet him there." He reaches over Kara and grabs a walkie out of Dean's bag. "I got a walkie so I will let ya'll know right before we tear down the wall!" And with that he shakes his head and drives off down the road. "Alrighty Kara, you tell me when to slow down."
OOC: Alrighty this thread is over with. Joseph if you want to set up the new thread that's fine with me. The next thread will be the plan actually taking place. Everybody preparing for it before the wall is torn down. See ya'll there!
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
