Sky felt the man grab her hand. She pulled him out the car window as easily as she could or had the time for. " My name is Sky, Fair warning i have no problem shooting you if you try anything sneaky." She said to him once he was out the car. She knelt beside him. She wasnt sure if he could walk. She could see his head was split and she would have to find time to patch it up. "can you stand? If you can you gotta ride with me. We need to get down the the stream i found earlier if no walkers are there by now. I can patch your head up there." She said calmly as she glanced around to be sure no walkers nearby. Thankfully they seemed to be clear. Gypsy nuzzled the side of her face. She touched the tip of her nose. "Its okay girl. This is Gypsy. Better make friends quickly sir." Sky said to the man. It was getting later in the day and they really needed to get settled and get some water purified.
The woman then pulled Rick out of his write off car and somewhat with ease almost like she did this before surprising him.
She then told him her name is Sky and her horse name is Gypsy and that they need to go to the stream to patch him up.Rick then manage to Stand even with all the pain he was going through.
"Nice to meet you,am Ricardo but call me Rick I hate that fucking name." He said while showing facial expressions of pain.
He then looked at the horse and thought why didn't he thought of that."Also am not the killing kind unless you turn me to."
When the man she now knew to be rick stood up she quickly climbed atop Gypsy and reached her hand out to help him up."The stream isnt far and if you luck out i may have some sort of pain killer left over to take the edge off. Your gonna need it if im gonna stitch up your head." She said to him. She was sure that daylight would be dying out soon enough and she was ready to make camp. She didnt have much chace to try and hunt today. Of course she wasnt expecting to be pulling anyone out of a car. Luckily she had some beef jerky and trail mix she found in the last town she stopped in. She wondered what cause this man to wreck his car.
Looking at her surroundings she saw a farm house not to far from the road. they would check it out tommorrow. Provided he survived and had no serious internal injuries. May they could find something useful before moving along. Sky never stayed put for long. Perhaps this is the only reason she has stayed alive so long.
Becky saw Olivia climb down the ladder of the watch tower. She looked flustered. Becky knew she was new on watch, usually worked on the cars or in the garden. But with everything that happened, they were having a different set out on the towers and on the gate. Becky stood up as Olivia approached.
She heard the gun shots and quickly turned. Max could be heard yelling, but his words unclear. Becky looked st Olivia, seeing the woman was still panicked. She picked herself up off the ground. "Stay calm, it's okay. Just tell me what you saw up there."
Olivia took a deep breath and spoke. "There was a crash, up on the road. A car it flipped end over end. A horse came, a woman on it. She grabbed the man from the crash. They were both alive, I could here the shots they fired."
Becky nodded. "I'll tell Max. Just get back up in the tower, if walkers come sounds the signal."
Becky jogged up around the barn. She saw the stranger, and everyone with guns at him. She cleared her throat and looked at Max and Amber. "There was a crash out on the road. Two people are there, one came on a horse. They fired at a few walkers. What should we do about?"
Bethany moved towards the man who claimed to be a cop and not even one from the U.S. Max wanted him searched and she knew how to do a pat down. She tucked her gun into her waistband and started to pat down his arms, torso and legs. When she got to his pockets, she felt the protrusion that was hard. She dug her hand into the pocket and looked at him with a bit of a smirk. "When's the last time a woman reached into your pockets to feel what you have in there?"
She pulled out the badge from his coat that was the protrusion and looked it over. She didn't really care about the papers as they were meaningless anymore. For all she knew, he could have stolen all of it from someone else.
"Looks legit, although who knows if he's telling the truth or just stole it from someone to gain trust." She tossed the badge over to Max so he could look it over. She pulled the gun back out from her waistband and held it close and low, ready to fire if he made any sudden moves.
"How did you get here?"

Max stepped back as Bethany searched the stranger. He looked at Amber and then the barn. "Get the sorted out. Make sure everyone is okay." He felt exhausted. Today had been one bout of chaos after another. It hadn't been this bad in months. He hoped this new guy was at least okay. They needed guards, and a runner now.
He saw Becky approach and turned to her. "What the fuck now," Max asked, "haven't we been through enough today." He listened to her speak about the crash and people heading away from here.
"Alert the ones in the tower. Tell them to give a signal of anything approaches the fence. The gate should be closed now, so nominee surprise visitors. Keep the lights off, everyone quiet. With the gunshots here and there walkers are the last thing we want. Go with Garret and Marie. Examine the wreck quickly and report back. If there walkers then turn around, wreck will be there tomorrow."
He looked around. As Bethany said they guy checked out he nodded. "Alright. He still could be lying. I don't know anyone who carries anything like that from their old life. It all sounds like a big lie. But he helped us, or so he says, could have just been a bad shot."
Max pointed to the fire pit in the middle of the yard. Lawn chairs were around it. "Go sit there. We have more questions for you Lyod. Before we let you go we need you to asset him. Bethany, you can guard him, gun out. I'll go get my better half to come question with me."
Max set off for the house. He climbed the stairs and went to the kitchen. He saw Paul and looked at Abby and Sarah. "The leaders need to discuss the new arrival. Figured two of us should question him."
Lloyd smirked at Bethany's snark during the pat down. "Oh you'd be surprised Love. It happens more than you might think, just because you think I'm some threat doesn't mean you have to be rude." He nodded curtly when Max directed him. "I arrived in the states about a year before this whole thing started, serial killer case. Guy was a monster, killed almost indiscriminately but always the same way. Guy needed to be stopped, they brought in people from across the globe. He's still out there, and I can't let that happen." He sat down in the chair. "That's why I hold onto the old thing. Gives me a goal, something to do besides wait for death to catch up with me."
OOC: My character and ricardo have left the wreck site and headed into the woods not far from the farm. In case anyone wants to investigate or join the thread. ITs on the north carolina main board. Just figured id put that out there.
Paul watched Dean go into an angry Spanish rant about Tyler. He didn't blame him. Tyler has messed up. He messed up big. People died because he was so stupid and arrogant. They didn't even notice something was wrong. Pail had seen blood, he assumed it was a walkers. He had seen, could have stopped this. It was to late, people died.
He watched Sarah pray. Paul may have believed in God but he wasn't about to get down on his knees and pray. What she was praying for he didn't know. He assumed safety, and well being of those on the farm.
He looks Ike's back at Abby. "Half a dozen, maybe more, maybe less. Cory was one of them, along with a few of the girls. They all turned so fast. Reanimated." He leaned against the wall. Paul looked defeated. He was breathing heavily, hyperventilating. He felt like he was going to be sick. He held his side, pain.
"Bethany, Amber, they took care of the ones who were turned. We killed them," Paul said, his words sounding in shock. "I...I killed them." He looked down. "I don't think there are any wounded. Any who were bit, died, and turned. Everyone ran out of there."
Bethany guided Lloyd over to a seat by the fire pit and kept the gun on him while Max went to go get Abby. She moved across from him and decided to stand. She was afraid if she sat down she would fall right back asleep again.
"I'm not being rude, just making sure you know whose in charge here." Which wasn't her, but still, she wanted him to know he was not the one in control.
"Tracked a serial killer you say? What's the name? Maybe I heard of him." She waited to get a better gauge on him before she admitted to him she was FBI. He may be able to figure out she was some sort of law enforcement by the way she acted and patted him down, but he didn't need to know exactly which branch. If she heard of the serial killer he was speaking of, then maybe she could help him out. But right now, none of it mattered.
"What brought you way out here? You think he's here? There is literally nothing out this way."
"They called him the Cross Country Killer. Struck terror in a handful of states, no one could get the guy, so they could in me and a few other blokes for extra help. Fat lot of good that did, guy still evaded us." Lloyd reached into his coat and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. "Sorry, old habits die hard." He then pulled out his lighter to light the cigarette. "I came back to this area because two victims were found near here. These two were the closest in proximity to any of them, I thought if he'd killed around here before, he'd kill again in the area."
"You came back to this area because two victims were found near here." She shook her head and looked back to the farm house as Max had left her in charge of him. She sighed as she smelled the burning tobacco and looked back to him.
"Why are you still trying to track him? It's over Lloyd. Whatever he did in the past doesn't matter. If he tries to kill or does actually kill again, he'll either die or get away with it. How do you know he's not already dead or became one of the biters?"
She thought, if this man was still trying to track a serial killer, then he was out of his mind. The only thing they could do anymore was survive and with a group, you help everyone else survive. Sure there was going to be drama in a group, but all of it was insignificant anymore.
Abby didn't like this , it all happened so fast. She stared at Paul," we are gonna implement a new rule. You go out on a run and when you come back, Dean and Brian do inspections of them." She sighed and looked at Sarah. They had been lucky.
Max came in and she locked eyes with him. " who the hell was on guard duty at the gate?" She shook her head. This was bullshit! People were growing too lax, thinking the walls and all were gonna protect them. The farm was safe, and it was causing people to loose their edge. She glanced at Sarah, and snapped her fingers." Sarah, I know you think that's important, but we have work to do, snap outta it." She looked at Max," soon as Paul told us, she started praying."
Abby loved Sarah, but they needed her to be strong, not fall apart on them. Not now.

Max slammed his hand against the wall. He didn't like this, it was clear he was angry. He saw Sarah, how weak she was. How weak the farm was. This is why he didn't like groups, they always went balls up. People were idiots, and the ones you loved died.
"She wants to pray, fucking let her. I don't give a shit anymore," he said looking at her, "we need a leader a united front. Instead we get childish actions doing make believe in a God that ain't there."
He looked at Abby, "Thad was on watch on the gate, or scheduled. We all know how that happened. He left on his bike, leaving it wide open. We don't have enough to cover every time some one feels sad or angry. People need to mature the fuck up, or they will get people killed. Sarah, Thad, Tyler, Bethany, all of them.
He stepped back. "I'm done. These people want to run off do whatever the fuck they want. We offered them food, protection. And the all don't even fucking care enough to watch a fucking gate. With all this bullshit, people will die."
"Why do I keep at it? It gives me a reason to actually give a damn in this world." Lloyd said, shaking his head at Bethany. "I could just go about and give up on having something to do with my miserable life trying to just not get eaten, but where's the point in that. Other blokes that were looking for the same guy gave up months ago, and you know where they are? In pieces, wandering about waiting for some poor sap to be unlucky and get their brains eaten." Lloyd sighed and tapped some ash from his cigarette. "I get it, this whole thing might very well be fruitless, but it gives me a reason to not die in this world. At least not until I put a bullet in the bastard."
Bethany looked at the man as he gave himself a purpose, albeit a fruitless one in her opinion. At least he had some standards though, or so it seemed. He wanted to get rid of the bad guy and in this world there was a line that was drawn in the sand. Either you were good or you were bad. If you weren't alive, then you were a walker. It was that easy.
"Life is simple to figure out now. It may not be easy to survive, but at least we can figure each other out now. You look like you're tired. You know chasing this guy is a needle in a really, really big haystack, but you haven't given yourself any other reasons."
She sat down in one of the chairs at the fire pit and tucked the gun away. He wasn't going to fire at her. If he wanted her dead, he would have made that really clear by now...or so she thought.
"Have you been with a group before now? People who know how to live? Here? They know how to farm, they know where fresh water is and the group is big enough to protect itself."
That is, until now. Thad's post was left unmanned and Lloyd got in.
Abby met Max toe to toe in the kitchen," you stop that, right now!" She wasn't going to let him talk like that." God's all she has left, you don't believe, fine, but she does!" Abby glanced at Paul and the others in the kitchen," alright, we need to burn the bodies, Dean and Brian need to check out those who were in the barn and make sure no one is bitten, and we need to make sure someone is manning all the perimeter points." She poked Max's arm," you and I will check out the new man."
Abby turned and looked at everyone," alright people, let's move." She moved over to Sarah who looked up at her," honey, we need you to get it together now." She glanced at Jay," watch her, make sure she helps take care of the girls." Abby wanted to find her something to do that was useful and might take her mind off things.

Max saw Abby come up to him but just glared. "Stop what, this foolishness," he asked pointing to Sarah, "look at her. People are dying, farms falling apart and she'd rather be on her knees playing make believe." He stepped back. "What does she eve. Have to believe in. All this shit, the sinners, the raiders. And she still thinks there's a God, let alone one who gives a fuck. She needs to grow up, we need strong leaders. She has a room in this house, as a leader, then she can act like it. Since Charles left she's been completely fucking useless."
He stepped out on the porch. He yelled into the barn. "Amber on watch. Round up whoever if fucking left and put them in watch. Bethany help Paul with the bodies, or Amber on watch. Becky you need to get everyone together, get Sarah and Louis to help you. Brian and Dean are to check everyone. You can help with that, you helped Brian back at Fort Bragg."
He looked at Lloyd. "Now you, explain yourself. Explain who you are, what you have been doing these last three or so years. Explain why you thought it was a good idea to trespass in a gated community with snipers in fucking towers. Explain why you still hold onto your past like a deranged lunatic. Finally explain what you want, your end goal in all this."

Amber made sure the barn was secure. No more dead, no more sinners. When she was done she exited the barn, closing off the doors behind her. For now, they gather elsewhere, keep out of the barn until they had the bodies cleared out and the tarps up. Plus it would be easier to check the people if they were all together and not scattered.
She heard Max call and simply nodded. "Got it, I'll assign the towers, and get some one on the gate. Me and Garret will patrol the fences then.
"Memphis, Joseph, and Marie, you three in a tower. Penny, Olivia, take the gate. Keep it closed this time. Garret, Jack, each one of you grab a rifle and some ballistic armour, we will keep to the fences. Place is locked down for the time being, no one in or out."
Once the dispersed she walked through the gate, pausing to look at Max and Abby before heading to patrol the fence.
Paul didn't like the way Max spoke to and about Sarah. He shouldn't have been like that, she deserved respect. But Paul wasn't in authority to speak up against him. Plus Max spoke with anger and intent. He didn't want his next victim to be him. Paul just backed against the wall, waiting for it to be over.
When Abby and amax left he looked at Sarah. He knelt beside her. "It will be okay," he said calmly," don't listen to what he said. It always gets better after its worse. And that's as worse as it can get today."
He stood up. moving to the door. He went through, meaning hancherchief to tie around his face. He the set off for the barn. He didn't know who would be helping him, just that the bodies had to be dealt with.
He went between the door of the barn, closing it behind him. He walked straight through tongue back, pulling open the rear doors. Seeing all the bodies as he turned around he stared in shock. There were a dozen, sprawled out, tarps and beds everywhere. He walked over to the nearest body.
It was female, pregnant. There are girls on the farm besides Abby expecting a child, girls the raiders had impregnated. Most didn't want them, some had given themselves abortions early on. From what he heard it didn't end well. Now there were about three left, two now that this one was gone. That meant two births before Abby, births any day now.
He grabbed the corpse from under the arms and dragged it out back. It was heavy, meh struggled with the weight. When he was done he dropped it on the burnt grass. He leaned over and quickly ripped off the mask, puking all over the ground.
Paul whipped his mouth and stood, looking at the body. Tieing the bandanna again he went in for another body.
