Sam was glad he had followed her back into the hall. He hugged her and she felt his fingers slide into the back pocket of her jeans. The kiss. He kissed her on the lips and she couldn't help but kiss him back. All the thoughts of what she had screwed up last night flooded to the forefront t of her mind. She sighed as he spoke and glanced up at him," I'm going with the red head, she's getting their things, but you better come back." Sam clutched him a bit harder, then pushed away from him. If she didn't, she knew she wasn't going to be able to. " kick ass." She said softly and then took a glance at him before heading down the steps.
She got outside and looked around. The red head wasn't out there, yet. Sam glanced at the other building. The front door was open. Sam saw the truck and a black haired woman say behind the wheel. She gestured to her with her hand.
Sam moved towards it and stopped at the passenger door," you going to the safe house? I'm supposed to go with Holly to some safe house," she blurted out and glanced around the faces in the truck.
June did look back however. She was worried about Dallas. Worried about the possibility that he wouldn't make it back. Plan or no plan. June did her hardest not to think about it. Entering into the back of the truck next to Lily and placing the food somewhere before strapping herself in. Just then the other blond with the group she remembered at the door when Kimberly came in approached them. She never did get her name.
“We're headed there now. I-I'm not sure which one Holly is.”
“Holly's the redhead with the doc. They were staying across the street last night. I haven't seen her since we helped Luca's friend. If you're coming you better get in now. People are already shooting at each other out here.”

Holly had stopped on the first floor of Remy 's building to check on Simon. He was still asleep. She would need to take him with her. It wasn't safe to leave him. Maybe Aron would be able to help her get him to Colette's truck after she gave him the weapons.
Holly knew she was running out of time. The dark haired woman wanted to leave, the sooner the better. She ran out the front door, and then over to the other building , where she and Andrei had spent the night. Seeing Colette, Sam, June, Lily and a little girl in the truck she held up her hand. Trying to tell them to hold on.
Sam got in the SUV. She felt nervous. She didn't know any of these women. She spotted Holly come out and hold up her hand," there she is." She watched her go inside the other building," what's going on?" She glanced at Colette," we can't leave her." She looked back at June and Lily," we need to wait for her."
Sam didn't know why Holly hadn't been over to their place and got their stuff yet. She should have been out before her. She saw the dead moving and glanced at Colette," they must have come cause of the shots." She gripped the pack in her lap. Hurry up. They couldn't sit here for long.
Lily looked over to Holly and held a confused/irritated expression on her face when she held up her hand and went running into the other building.
“What the hell is she doing?”
Like they had time to wait. The truck should have been traveling down the road already. Seeing walkers start to come this way Lily already had her gun out. Catching Sam looking at her and June from the corner of her eye.
“Not my call.”
If Colette wanted to go now on account of the walkers that was her decision. Meanwhile, Lily planned to make herself useful. Climbing out to the back of the SUV and aiming her pistol at the walkers in-coming to keep them at bay. Getting off a couple good shots in the head while others kept coming. One in particular would grab her attention. A large undead man towering at 6'6 and must have weighed a good three-hundred pounds. Now growling in Lily's direction.
“Looks like someone needs to go on a diet.”
Lily had to raise her gun a little given the man's size and fired off another shot to the head. The impact being enough to knock him back and onto the ground. Made Lily feel smug for a second until reality decided to be a bitch. Ya see, people can survive a shot to the head. It's not like in the movies where a head-shot always equal death. And today, that was going to hold true for the undead. As the 6'6 walker's eyes opened back up and he pulled himself up to his feet. Roaring intensely at Lily's place on the truck and marching down the street. If anything the shot only seemed to piss him off. Now if the size wasn't enough to differentiate him from the rest, the hole in his head sure was. And now he was making a beeline for Lily Mayweather.
((Please don't kill the 6'6 badass walker right away, I wanna build something with him. Thank you <3))

June watched Holly go into the other building. Was something going on? Everything around June was happening so fast she could hardly keep up with it all. She met Sam's gaze and offered a weak smile.
“I'm sure we can hold out just a little bit – Lily, what are you doing?”
Lily was out of the truck shooting at the walkers. Thinning out their numbers as it were. June didn't like Lily doing it on her own, but that was just the way she was at times. If it bought Holly more time then all the better. Just then the biggest of the bunch took a shot to the head and got up. If walkers could hold grudges then it had a good reason to hate Lily as now it was headed right for her. Which was bad news for all of them as Lily was on the truck.
“Oh, thank you, Lily! Thank you very much for sicking the big guy right on our ass!” She looked back to the others. “Look, I don't want to leave Holly behind either, but we're sitting ducks out here!”

Candy managed to bag her toaster puzzle after all, though with no time to be careful as she would have liked. She had to unceremoniously slide it all into the pillow case with a swipe of her arm. She couldn't know if she would find another good puzzle to work on, until Dallas came and got her.
She sat quietly beside June, avoiding the gaze of Lilly and the strangers she was now sharing the truck with. Lilly's gun was loud, and a ginormous walker...got up again... It was enough to make Candy want to bolt from the truck, but she wasn't going to leave June, so the little girl tucked herself up into a ball on the floor of the truck. Candy slid Flopsy off her shoulder, and huddled against the floor, hugging the terrycloth rabbit.

Damon had heard the shots and went to the roof scouting what was going on but he could not get a good view of anyone. When he remembered that Sam was still light headed and downstairs. He sprinted and jumped down staircases until he reached the front door. Looking left and right there seemed to be no action or threat but he was now unsettled.
He waved at Sam "Samantha... I need you to come here a second." He waited thinking what to tell her. Something was up. Either Collettes group was not to be trusted or an attack was coming. And by all the coincidental threats occurring his money was on Collette's group. He wanted to keep Sam In the apartment.
Sam sat in the passenger side of the SUV. Lily was shooting at the walkers that were coming up the street. Colette had started the engine. Sam starters to panic. They were leaving, going to leave Holly. Sam looked out the window and saw Damon. He waved to her and she heard him yell her name. She clutched the bag in her lap and glanced at the females in the truck.
With a shakes hand she grabbed the door handle and bolted out of the truck. Sam ran for Damon. She flung herself at him, wrapping her arms around him." Don't make me go! Holly is in the other building! They are gonna leave her!" She clung to him," what's happening? What's going on? People went in the other building, bleeding!" She was freaked out, scared, and in need of something . She was trembling

Damon felt Sam wrap her arms around him and hugged her whilst patting her back "Its okay, its alright. You can stay here while I'm gone okay." He began to lead her back inside the house and once out of the trucks ear shot began to speak.
"I don't trust these people that turned up Sammy. Anthony goes missing, walkers and strangers showing up. Remy and a few of the others are staying here and I will hurry back once I deal with this bullshit."
A part of him really wanted to stay and help Sam. Yet he knew that as long as some kidnapping group was on the loose Sam especially as someone vulnerable wasn't safe. She was young, troubled and beautiful. Bad groups did horrid things to people like Sam.
Damon was part of a mission to save Anthony and that was the priority. But he planned on shooting as many cockroaches as it took for the message 'Stay the Fuck Away' to sink in as blood drying on the roadside. He had lead Sam upstairs and was now in the hall outside their apartment.
He just checked one last time if Sam was alright looking her eye to eye "Are you sure your okay? I really don't want to leave you here you know... its just not safe with a group so close with aggressive intentions."
Sam stood there and stared at him. Her back was to the door. He was still gonna leave her. " Damon..." Her hands reached out and grabbed his hips, pulling him close to her. Her hands slid up around his shoulders. She didn't want him to leave her. She glanced at Remy's open door and the. Stared at his face," please..." Sam didn't trust any of these people. Well, Holly , seemed alright. " don't let Holly leave with them, tell her to stay with me, I don't want to be alone." Sam reached up and took his face in her hands and kissed him.
Sam kissed him, all her emotion in those trembling lips," don't be long." She pulled back from him slowly. Her body trembled and she reached to her back pocket. He had given her two pills. She needed to take them, soon.

Damon knew something was up the moment he heard Samantha say his name. He realised Sam did not want to be alone and she was clearly worried about how long he was going to be. Damon looked upwards for a second trying to think while she kissed him. "Ill see what I can do... things are a bit tense for her being as she used to be with that psycho old guy in Boise."
Damon looked towards Remys apartment "Look I'm a decent read on people. Remy is alright and because I have stuff like the energy going I'm a bit more important to these people. Otherwise I don't really know. Just don't answer the door to any men while I'm gone..." He took a smoke and offered it to her.
"Try delay on the pills for half an hour. Good start. I'm going for Holly now... AND..." he couldn't look Sam in the eye as he spoke this last sentence "It wont happen... BUT If I don't come back... I'm sorry.".
Colette had started the truck and the blonde bolted back to the guy standing in the door way. She reached over and shut the door that she left open. Colette wasnt sure what to do. She wanted to leave, they needed to leave, but she saw Clayton go in that building with the Doc. Something was wrong, very wrong. She glanced back at the others. She needed to get them out of there.
Colette's new plan was to drive them to the bar, give instructions to keep them safe, and come back with another vehicle to get these fools out of here. She started to back up, away from the huge ass dead man that was coming at her truck.

The plan had been put into motion. They were now ready to move out and get Anthony back. Only one small problem. More fucking gun shots... Could this day get any worse? Dallas wasn't sure he wanted to know the answer to that question.
Damon said something in a panic and sprinted out the room at the sound of the shots. "Damon! Wait!" Dallas called out after him, but too little too late. The guy was gone. "Shit." Damon was no good to anyone dead, and his concern for the blond girl was going to get him in trouble... All of them really.
"God damnit!" He spat out, "let's move. Sooner we get him back the sooner we get Anthony." He rushed out the door with the rest of the 'crew' behind him. Aron should be back with the weapons soon. That would give them an edge. Despite what Colette thought, he wasn't suicidal. He knew what he was doing here. Despite what the others thought, he knew what happened when you waited too long to get an enemy of war back.... And he wasn't going to have that happen with Anthony.
He made it down the stairs to see Damon, the blond, the truck, and some walkers. The hell was going on? "Damon, get her in that truck!" The sooner they all got out of here, the safer they'd be. His actions were putting them all at risk. And they still had other things to do. "Walkers, let's put 'me down. He said to the group behind him. They'd have to put them down before they could move on. And he expected the woman on the truck and out of here before the walkers were put down. "Quietly if we can. Don't need to draw more of 'em."
With the walkers disbanded and the truck gone. The guys were now ready to head off and get Anthony back. Little did any of them know what was waiting for them....
((Sorry guys, just trying to push the game along. Was waiting for other people, but it seems we are all waiting. So let's move along. ))
“Shut up! The damn things were already headed for the fucking truck!”
Lily was getting tired of the constant criticism being thrown her way. Whether she tried to help or do nothing, someone somewhere had to go on about how everything she did was wrong. Lily had enough. She kept shooting at the big guy trying to buy as much time as they needed, and now the blond was leaving the truck. What the fuck? Fine. Whatever. Leave. Die. Lily didn't give a shit if your name wasn't Dallas or June. June at least had enough sense to stay indoors. Colette began to pull out and create some much needed distance between them and the walkers. Which promptly disappeared in the distance. Big or not, he was still slow as hell.
Lily climbed back into the back of the truck and put her gun away. Allowing her shoulders to drop down as she leaned back in her seat. Strapping the seat belt on and looking to the others. They were safe. For now. Good thing they were going to a bar, too. Lily could use a drink. Or twenty.
Cade heard the bearded man. He was taking charge, going down to Acer's. Didn't he just hear Dan's plan, it involved him, and him alone getting this Anthony out. That was all there was, why were the others rushing. Their part didn't come till later, way later. Arcade moved along, but stopped Dan before he went out the room.
"Dan, you don't have to do this," he said hiso me going serious, "do these people really matter. You could come with we, we'll leave out the back, head to Collette's you'd be even safer there. Safet than here. Dan think about it."
"I've thought about it. I want to help, anyway I can. These are good people. They need our help, we should give it," Dan replied.
"Alright then, let's go."
Cade left with Dan down the stairs. They came out the front and saw the chaos. Cade whipped his bow out immediatly. He fired and air, taking a walker in the head. He fired another, another, taking all he could down. When it was over he would collect any intact arrow.
Once the walkers were cleared, and the truck gone he looked at Dallas. An idea clicked in his head and he smiled. "You, leader man," he said pointing to Dallas. "I have a better plan. We can trade Dan for your man. They need Dan, and will make the trade. Dan needs to go back anyway, it will also explain him being gone for so long. But if we do this Dan doesn't get hurt, nothing comes to him. When this is over, you help Dan move his things back to your place. Otherwise we hope Dan's other plan works."
He ripped an arrow out of a dead Walker. "Do we have a deal. I'll go with you, show you where it is, we bind Dan and blindfold him. It would make sense if I led you, Acer and I aren't on best terms despite the truce with Collette. To be honest I think he's jealous I've slept with her and he hasn't," Cade said with a laugh. "You can still run the talk, but I'll amp up how important Dan is to them, only Medic, fixes men daily, sure you can understand."

Damon had heard Dallas shout and looked towards Sams room. He really didn't want to leave her but passed her a golf club "Lock the door... Only anser to people you know. UNDERSTOOD." Damon was now headed down the stairs with his rifle and joined Dallas ready to hit the road. He was hopeful this would be an easy operation. If not he may be the only one to make it out alive. He flexed his shoulder.
Dan turned to leave, following the rest out. He was glad the bearded man agreed to his plan, he didn't want to be shot by Luca. He knew if he did then Cade would kill him, or try, he didn't want that either. When it was settled he let out a sigh of relief and headed for the door. As he did he felt a hand grab his shoulder and spin him around.
"Dan, you don't have to do this," Cade said his tone going serious, "do these people really matter. You could come with we, we'll leave out the back, head to Collette's you'd be even safer there. Safet than here. Dan think about it."
"I've thought about it. I want to help, anyway I can. These are good people. They need our help, we should give it," He replied, grabbing his bag off the table before leaving. He grabbed his fire poker and followed Arcade down the steps. Arcade seemed to agree, for now.
Outside it was chaos. Shooting, walkers, a truck with women in it. Dan pressed himself against the walls and waited until the others took care of the walkers, he had ha enough killing off he dead today. When it was done he joined Cade by his side. As the man spoke her stared at him in shock. He was wanting to use Dan as bait, a false trade. It was dangerous, Dan was a terrible lier. But there was a risk no matter what they did.
If Dan was used as bait Acer would trade him, he knew it. The man needed him, no one else there could heal a wound, even though Dan was no ace with a needle in thread. Men left looking like Frankenstine's monster then what a doctor would do.
"If this is what's needed then I'd accept. Both plans are dangerous for myslef anyway. I jus want to help. But I'm certain I can get him out of I try. Though I'd need to enter alone."

Once more the plan to trade Dan for Anthony was brought up. This time by Cade, who didn't want Dan hurt, just bound and blindfolded. There was just too much that could go wrong with that plan. What if this Acer called their bluff? Seeing a man unharmed, if Acer was the type to notice details, could mean the group didn't have it in them. And that could mean he might open fire on them... Dallas didn't like his odds if that happened.
"No." His answer put an end to that. "We have a plan, we have our people. We stick to it. Take Dan to the encampment, and he gets Anthony out. Then we get them them both back home." That was the plan they made. No one was going to change it now.
No one seemed to want to challenge Dallas' word on the matter and so the group set off to Acer's place of operations... (( moving this to the room set up by Remy. Will post more there.))
