Kseniya's elite Army Spetsnaz GRU unit had turned into a bunch of football playing uncaring grown men and women. She didn't know why it was that the Americans called it 'Soccer', in her humble opinion it was better than their version of Football. How was it Football when the ball spent the majority of the game in someone's hands rather than on the ground kept moving by the players' feet. Didn't make much sense to her, but then again the Americans were strange in some ways. Who really cared, after all the food smelled fantastic and once she'd worked up enough of an appetite she certainly planned on getting some.
She'd learned one thing when she'd joined the men of her unit in what little off time they got to play Football, is that no matter what they were for the most part still stronger than her, but she was by quite a degree faster than they were. It was the biological difference between men and women, and while there may be outliers, it was simply the case. Of course for a woman she was certainly quite strong considering she'd made the already very exacting standards that were set for military age men, rather than women.
So when the American defender came in for the tackle, she kicked the sand behind the ball to confuse him and then pulled it to the side away from him, and then dribbled the ball past him and toward the American goal keeper. She kept her eyes on him, as she moved closer she focused her eye on the left side of the goal as if she was going to aim there. However at the last minute she simply tapped the ball to the right, passing it to Lyokha. Lyokha didn't waste a heartbeat and kicked the ball toward the right side of the goal.
(I'm assuming here this is beach football (or soccer), not being played on grass.)
