Plans had taken a long time to work out down to times and what actions were needed. She had taken the time in her side work to draw up a few different things to help with her mission tonight. She was in the Trailer that she resided in with her work lab. That was the part of her conditions to work and do his evil tasks. Taking soft dog treats she injected them with a deadly poison which made her feel bad but she didn’t need dogs on her trail. She had made it a habit to go to the pens and give the dogs treats nightly.
So the guards wouldn’t think anything of it. By the time they noticed the poisoned dead dogs it would be after her escape. Slow acting poison was the worst part but she added what she could to make it painless for them. With the treats in hand she headed out of her trailer where dogs where kept. Going down the kennel she talked to them and gave all but two of them the dosed treats. The two she needed to dose would have just left with the new guard shift. She Stopped and treated the two dogs being returned to the kennel then she found herself back at her trailer.
Pulling out her pack she made sure it was by the door. After that she loaded all the vials of drugs she had made along with ammo she had made that night. Her note pads and laptop with all her studies were packed in the two bags as well. Moving to the door she looked out the small window to see the two guards posted near her trailer with Tango and Sarge. Her two favorite out of all the dogs they had at this place. With a scalpel covered in a potent paralytic tucked in one hand and a bag of treats in the other she stepped outside. “Hey guys. How’s watch been tonight? Anything interesting?” She asked with a smile.
"No nothing interesting in this dump." one of them said to her watching her petting the dogs.
In here time here she was friends with most of the guard whom watched her trailer. Which made her feel bad for her next move. It was only a few seconds and she sliced the both a small slash on the hands holding the leashes. After a few seconds the effects of the serum had the men crumple to the ground. “I’m sorry guys. “ She said grabbing the leashes of the dogs. Kneeling down with them she petted both their heads. “You guys want to go for a run?” She whispered as she reached into her trailer. Her attire was all black a lot with the bags.
She threw on the pack and grabbed the medicine back leading the dogs with her. After months she had found the only blind spot from the nearest guard Tower. The two guarding tonight were slackers and didn’t normally look her way anyway. She was the quiet type and they figured she wouldn’t try to do anything. At the fence she pulled out clippers and cut through the fence. It was tough for her but she managed. Climbing through the fence she held it for the dogs and tugged their leashes. They jumped through and followed her into the darkness of the night.
She only had a few hours before the next watch. Heading towards the Mississippi river she moved as fast as her legs would take her. She found a car in some drive way of a house. Getting the dogs into it the keys were inside and she turned them. “Come on god if you are there let this work.” She said. The first two times it didn’t want to turn over. Finally the third time it worked and she was on the road. After About and hour and a half of driving she found herself in baton rouge City limits. She got out of the car and took the leashes off the dogs. “Ya’ll stay with me okay.” She said quietly and petted their heads.
Grabbing her back pack and medicine bag she left on foot. She had left late in the night or early in the morning as some would say. It was evident by the light coming into the sky. After a while of traveling her eyes lay on her destination The Mississippi river she made haste to She saw the ship but didn’t see movement even with the vehicles outside it. When she got to the water’s edge she pulled out the laptop and tossed it into the water. She then knelt over and pulled out notebooks and a lighter. Setting the paper on fire she dropped them by the water and watched them burn.
When only smoldering ashes were left she kicked them into the water and stared into the distance for a moment. The dogs stood beside her quietly like they understood what she was doing. Her attention turned when the two dogs started to growl. Looking down they were both in defensive postures and her eyes looked up to see someone approaching.
