Mac listened to Randall as he explained how he came to met his daughter and appreciated him helping her out. He had a feeling he'd get along fine with Randall. He agreed with Randall as he said Luca wasn't a team player. Despite that Luca had proven him to be mostly dependable in a fight and in doing what needs to be done, Mac knew he did it only because it served his own agenda. Luca was an asset, not an ally. Maybe he'd learn, and Randall could teach him how to remain calm and act like more of a human from time to time.
Mac chuckled when Ellen started bugging the drunk guy, and made him stumble around. Unfortunately his smile went from his face when that same guy puked all over his boots. Rather than to ignite in fury, Mac grunted in an annoyed manner and shook his head. When Randall threw the drunk guy off of him and wiped his shoes, Mac felt humble. Randall didn't need to do that, he shouldn't be doing that either.
"Sadly, that's not the first time ever that's happened." Mac said, remembering a private from his batallion doing the same in Afghanistan. But unlike that private, Mac didn't have the authority here to drill him back into sobriety. That would be Ellen's job, but she wasn't running a company of soldiers. And these people probably needed to unwind and had most likely earned the right to get drunk and forget about the world, if only for a brief period of time.
"Anyway, Ellen mentioned you guys having some urgent problems that need fixing within the camp." Mac continued. "Any of them of you can discuss in public or do they all need to be discussed in private?"
