King Tobias, damn he liked it and wished he'd thought of it first but he couldn't win them all. He saw she was heading to the fridge and stepped in himself, nothing could gross him out anymore he'd seen A LOT.
"I'll clean this lass," he said with a charming unlike himself smile, "But are ye talkin' bout cereal? Does my people know of this treat?"
'Jayasu I'm old what the hell was Lucky Charms cereal?' He thought to himself but shurgged it off.
The smell was actually breath taking and he stifled a gag, "Christ on a cracker this smell is rancid," his eyes danced from a maggot infested raccoon to other spoiled goodies, "Whoever left this damn near needs a boot to tha' arse!"
He didn't want to get caught looking, but it was VERY hard not too. So he cleaned and watched from the corner of his eye, "Aye might take up that offer as King o'the Junkyard if ye don' mind, has a appealing sound to it it does. How'd yer parents get those two stubborn boys ad a gal like you?"

"No wait!" It was too late. Tobias opened the damn fridge and she shook her head.
"God dammit, we're better off just throwing it away. Ugh, that's awful." Going up beside Toby, she shut the fridge door and looked at him. "Yea, just keep that shut, cowboy, okay?" She grinned to him and turned back to one of the boxes that he hauled off the floor and put on the counter. Shifting through the contents, she came across bandages and some medical supplies.
"My cousin Remy is the doctor out of all of us. She can probably use all this. I guess you met her when you helped to fight."
She looked through the box to see if there was anything she needed, but it looked like it was all going to be for medical care. She closed up the box and looked at him as he asked about how her and her brothers came to be. It was quite honestly one of the oddest questions from a person she had ever gotten in her life. She stared at him for a second, hand on her hip and wondered if this was some Irish thing he was asking.
"Well, I suspect first my momma and daddy got naked, then they had sex a few times and nine months later we came around. Of course, I think I was a mistake given that I'm younger then my brothers, like, by a few years, but you know."
She blinked a few times wondering if this guy was completely messing with her.
"You ...you do know what sex is right? Where babies come from and all that?"

In silence Branden watched as Amarie continued to shove the rods into the ground, pounding it deep into the earth out of frustration. When she spoke up and continued to ramble on about being left in charge, he quickly answered after she was done. "I`d say you do just fine on your own." He didn`t know whether it was a good to say or not, but hoped to calm her down somewhat. Once she stopped and looked at him, he feared the worst. Was she going to get yelled at him now? He wondered and waited anxiously.
Instead she placed her hand on the hip and asked what he thought of her, which took him completely by surprise. Fearing that she was trying to hit on him he froze, not knowing what to say to the girl. She was certainly beautiful, though he already had a woman, who was currently at the other house. If he said something wrong now, then who knew what would happen next. It was a trick question he believed, no matter what he answered he would get in trouble. If he didn`t give her the compliment she craved then she would possibly go crazy on him, on the other hand, if he did, then his girlfriend might think the worst of him.
"Eeeh, I...em, well, I...you look lovely." He said, then immediately regretted it. "I mean, sure, why not...fuck, no, I...of course I`d protect you, were I him, had you...or me, you...whatever...no, not what I meant..shit..." Branden stopped, not wanting to embarrass himself further, or for the matter anger anyone else. However unknowingly, he found himself staring at her as the rays from the sun enlightened her beauty.
Meanwhile a shambling walker came out of the bushes, who no doubt had been drawn to their location cause of the noise. It had him on alert and if it came to it, he`d kill it before it got anywhere near, unless she did something first. When she spoke again, revealing the truth behind her outburst, it became clear why she was taking it all out on him. Arden had upset her, partially because he left, though what it boiled down too was the fact that her feelings for him wasn`t returned the way she wanted them to be.
Pity, that was what came to Branden`s mind when he heard her say that, as he knew how great love could be if done right. He wished he could help, but didn`t know how. She was in her own world and probably wouldn`t take any word of advice even if he gave her some. Speechless he simply stood by, feeling out of place. More than anything he wanted to spend time with Stormyr, yet he had promised to help out and so he would stick to that, no matter how much he had to take from the girl`s built up emotions.
Once she stuck the rod in the ground and aimed it at the walker`s upper body, she stepped behind the fence and let it get itself stabbed. It was fascinating to see how stupid and slow it was, though it was a good thing and worked in their favor. With its hands outright, it tried to grab Amarie and the more it pushed onto the rod, the worse the damage got. Eventually the walker stopped moving and was considered gone. Amarie then turned to Branden and said they had a whole fence line to cover, to which he nodded and started working on right away.
Standing where Charles left her she watched him leave with Owen and Remy. At this moment she hated that she couldn’t go with him and be sure that he was safe. Seems everyone she cared about had left to go on runs and in this world there was no guarantee any of them would return. Her eyes watched the trio until the sound of the motorcycles was distant and could no longer be seen. It was at the point her attention to Amarie and Branden near the fence line.
Amarie was ranting and raving no doubt about Arden to Branden and he was just so awkward standing there. When the sound of a motorcycle caught her ears she looked to see Toby returning. He was singing as he entered the front door. Sky just looked down and smiled at Walker. “Looks like Uncle Toby is in a cheerful mood today.” Her eyes went back to Branden and Amarie. A zombie had found its way out of the brush attracted by the noise.
She watched it get skewered on a piece of rebar like a pig ready for roasting. Well at least the fencing would be more secure for the people who would be staying behind. Leaving the fire pit she headed into the house through the front door. She came in to see Toby talking to the girl she knew as Arden’s sister. Ellen? Elsa?.. It started with a E… Ellie yeah that’s right. That was the room her and Charles had been residing in. Walking up to the two she cleared her throat. “Hi Ellie. If ya don’t mind I need to go into your room I left a bag with stuff for my son Walker up there. I won’t be in there to long I promise.”
She said in a friendly tone then turned and headed up the stairs. When she found herself in the room where her and Charles spent the first night together she was taken back. Listening him drunk talk to walker in the middle of the night. The side of him that was actually nice and charming. It brought a smile to her lips as she shook out of her day dream and moved to the corner of the room grabbing the duffle bag. Once walked was changed fed and wrapped in a light blanket Sky grabbed the duffle in her spare hand.
Heading back down stairs she found a seat a seat on the couch and leaning back into the kitchen. She kicked her sneakers off they bounced off the duffle bag on the floor and pulled her feet up onto the couch. Holding walker closer to her she got comfy and zoned out into her own little world.

Amarie was satisfied that the iron worked in stopping the walker, although she wasn't sure how long these rods would last. She knew what the weather was like and they could easily rust and crumble away. That was neither here nor there as they seemed to work for the here and now.
"I look lovely? Do I look like I'm going to prom?" She looked at Branden for a long time and suddenly found herself laughing about how ridiculous this entire conversation had been. She was taking her frustrations out on him and honestly he had no idea how to react to it all. She didn't even know his last name. Poor guy. "Look, I'm sorry. I guess I just haven't really talked to anyone much in the past year. I'm kind of awkward that way."
Maybe it was best to just get back to work. One by one, they followed the fence along the woodline that led down the driveway and for hours here and Branden worked. She wouldn't fill his mind with any more bullshit that she was feeling about Arden going off with that group. The work they were putting in was starting to tire her enough and keep her focused on what needed to happen. As they moved down the line, one by by she put those X shapes up with his help.
"What about ya'll? What are you doing with that farmhouse down the road? I stayed there so I know a bit of the layout if you need some help."
She also knew there were weapons and ammo in the attic. Some was promised to Charles but a lot of it was what she discovered in the house and she wanted some of that back. Did they even know how much was there? Maybe she could sneak her way back there and get it.

Helping with the rebar Baron couldn't stop staring at Amarie's ass. Then he remembered how Ernie wanted to go on a trip with him to replace his drugs. He wasn't up for any traveling. He was safe with some fine ass, no reason to go roaming in dead land. So he decided he would hide most of the day, hoping Ernie would forget. He walked into the house, up the stairs, and into the bathroom. He then sat on the toilet, pulled out a granola bar and began to eat and sleep the day away. After all, he did have a killer hangover.
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
