Nicole looked to Jess and raised her brow. That's fine if she didn't want to speak about what happened. She understood that perfectly. At least she accepted the pistol. Her eyes went to Jace as Arden and him began to speak.
It was funny, she had to admit. Jess offered to shoot Arden which brought a smile to her face but she cleared her throat and looked back to her. "That might be tempting but... save some for the dead. Besides, I think some people are more deserving of a gift of a hollow point around here. Don't you?" She paused and arched her brow with the smile still intact.
When Jess spoke about her not going with them, her smile faded. That was fine. It was her choice. But part of Nicole wondered if it was a good idea for her to stay back with these people. Jace was making his way towards them now and Nicole stood up from the hood and her hands moved to her hips. Nicole quickly glanced over her shoulder to Jess.
"If you want to stay, keep that pistol then. If you want to come with us, I can look out for you. Your call," she said and looked to Jace. "We leave in ten, then. Sounds good to me. He coming?" she asked and raised her brow, motioning with her head to Arden.
Ric felt as if he was losing his mind. The car he thought he had sat in was a frigment of his imagination because he found himself sitting in the woods.Ever since last night he been tripping and for some reason he couldn't remember shit what had happened.Did that blonde bitch drugged him to sleep with him? Or was he just going out of his friggin mind?
He then got up and walk through the woods to get to the next house where Remy those stayed.Within 10 minutes of traveling through the woods he finally made it through and saw the house he fought Charles in.He then saw Arden,Nic,Jace and a young teen girl talking amongst themselves. He then approach the group. "Sorry that am late I was a little caught up.Whats the plan?Put a firearm in my hand and am good to go." He said looking at the individuals in the group.

Remy smiled softly to Arden as he begrudgingly accepted the fact Owen was going to stay. At one point they were best friends, inseparable by anything that could have happened, and quiet honestly, she was surprised Owen didn't go with Arden into the city. She was surprised they didn't have each others back through all this. Maybe those fences could be mended in good time.
Arden agreed to go with them to get more weapons and she was pretty sure Amarie wouldn't be happy to hear that. He had a way to make it back, she was certain of that. She trusted Jace to get her cousin back safe. She stared at Arden for a long time before shifting her gaze back to Jace. "Just keep him safe okay? Bring him back in one piece or you'll have hell to pay with Amarie."
She hugged Arden happy to know Owen was going to stay. Owen would be happy to hear that Arden accepted that also. She moved to where Owen and Charles were talking, wondering if the car situation had been worked out. She heard the last part of what Owen said, furrowing her brow as he spoke about Charles, the city and what he needed there.
"You're coming with us? It's a few hours west, you sure you wanna leave your group here?"
She stood next to Owen, placing her hands on her hips as she looked up at the sky. It was getting lighter out and she didn't want to lose more time. She already lazed about this morning at least an hour longer then she wanted to and now, with everyone back at the house, it seemed they were all splitting up into different directions.
"We need to get going. I got the bags ready and I'm taking the bat. Make sure you arm yourself. I'm worried about the people, not the walkers, back there."
Jace heard Amarie say she didn’t want Arden to go but that wasn’t his call and he wasn’t getting in the middle. He just gave the option and was letting him choose. Wasn’t long before Ric Appeared and then Paige Jace was speaking with Nicole when Arden decided to go with them. "Lets roll out."Once everyone was ready Jace and paige got on their bikes and the others the the car they left towards fort polk.
{Jace, Nicole,Ric,Paige,Jess,Arden Have left the thread.}

Charles walked over to his new bike that was left on the lawn, the very same one that Arden had given him as a gift of reconciliation. He looked it over as the others did their thing, and by the time he sat down on it, the man known as Owen approached. Apparently he had overheard him saying he would tag along on the trip to New Orleans, and he asked if he had any bikes to spare. Charles had a lot of animosity against him, due to the fact he fought with Knox; stole his original bike and placed the patches of his dead biker comrades on the doorstep of the other house, yet right now he was willing to look past it and focus on what mattered. "We`re back yes,...and well, the only bike I know of is Hannah`s bike, which I got from my sister." He said and glanced at Owen, giving him a serious look. "You could take it, but...you better be careful with it." Charles stated sincere, as it had a lot of sentimental value to both him and Jace.
As Owen turned to look at Remy and Arden for a mere moment, Charles`s gaze followed and he could tell the blonde chick meant a lot to him the way he smiled about what was going on. Although as soon that was done, Owen asked Charles more questions about why he needed to go, bringing up his sister. "Don`t tell me what to do! I know Toby stayed at the Junkyard, Jace told me. And what my sister concern is none of your business." He uttered harshly, then Remy joined the fray asking mostly the same in a more polite tone. "My group?...nah, it's all Jace and Arden`s group now. I`ve been lookin for my sister since she disappeared, her tracks point east, which is where I`m heading with you guys. She might have gone to the city, or somewhere in between. I`m hoping to find a clue, or something, plus...you folks need supplies." He answered more calmly around Remy.
"Everything seems to be in working order and I got what I need, though I need to speak with Sky first, if that's alright? I`ll meet you in the driveway." He answered nicely and stood up, rolling the bike out onto the lot. "Here, take this, you`ll need it." He threw Owen the keys to Hannah`s bike, then walked over to Skylar. "Hey, got a minute?"

"I'll be careful with it. You don't need to worry about that. Remy and I won't let anything happen to it," Owems aid calmly, "if you don't trust me with it, trust her." He set his eyes on Charles, and looked over at Remy talking to Jace and Arden. Seemed they were leaving, to get weapons. "If you want to take this one, I can take he one Arden brought for you. This one probably means more, even if it's not the same style you drive."
Charles snapped at him when Owen mentioned his sister. It must have been a touchy subject. He didn't know where she went. But Owen knew, had it been his family he wouldn't be going off, he'd be looking for them, finding them no matter what. Arden was the same way, he knew from what he gathered, how long Arden had been searching for his siblings.
"Easy, I wasn't trying to tell you what to do, I was just trying to help. Make sure you aren't doing the wrong thing. You don't need this macho act with me, I don't need you pissing around like a male cat. You're still in charge buddy. I just wanted to make sure you were doing what you truly wanted to do." Owen said calmly. He wasn't looking for a fight, not now.
Remy came over and he smiled. "Yeah I'm just about ready to go. Let me grab a gun, and knife. Then we can head out." Charles spoke about something he had to do and Owen nodded. "Take your time. We'll wait." Taking the keys he smiled. "Thank you Charles, means a lot. Well take good care of it, you'll see."
Owen moved away from them. He went inside. Finding his pants from the night before he grabbed the gun and knife from the belt. Coming back out he smiled at Remy. Arden and the others had left, leaving Amarie alone with Branden and Baron, and who ever else was staying. "Make sure Ernie gets his ass up to help you," Owen said calmly, "don't let him just free load, Ellie too."
Owen turned to Remy. "You ready to go? Ever ride a bike before?"
Post by Remy LaCroix on May 4, 2016 7:09:55 GMT -5
Remy jumped a little as Charles snapped at Owen. She wasn't expecting that kind of outburst, although she should have. What he had gone through was too much. First he lost the woman he loved, then he had to fight for his life, then he lost his sister. It was still raw with him when everyone else had lost everything early on. She could understand it but it still made her jump none the less. She stayed quiet as they spoke about who will take what bike. In a strange way, she felt like the bike would be safer and easier to manipulate through the city streets although it would leave them vulnerable. But she also felt like it would bring her and Owen closer together. She liked the thought of just holding on to him for a few hours. She realized how much she enjoyed being close to him. That thought took her by surprise as they spoke and her mind wandered.
When Charles broke off to go talk to Sky, she watched their interactions and it was a bit confusing. He was like a kid with her, a bit awkward, head hung down and softer in his approach. There was simply something more that met they eye with them. Between Ric, Damon and Charles, she was certain Sky had her hands full, unknowing of the blossoming relationship between Damon and Daisy that had formed the night before.
When Owen went inside, she gathered up her belongings also. The empty backpacks and the nail bat for protection. She knew there were other packs at the house but she had no idea how she was going to get the microscope back. She'd be weighed down with medical supplies and drugs at it were. Maybe Charles could bring some back for his group also, but selfishly, she wasn't so willing to share. Her and Dan got those supplies. They were trapped at Tulane for hours in order to get them back to her place. She just hoped they were still on the table and hadn't been pillaged yet.
She sat on the steps waiting for Owen and when he finally came back out she stood up, watching as Arden left with the others.
"I don't like Arden leaving here. He wants us to stay behind and help Amarie. He should be the one staying behind." She never did say she would stay or go to her cousin, but she knew they needed those supplies. They all knew it. If she were going to be the one playing doctor here, she needed all the help she could get.
"I think he accepts the fact you're staying. Let's just hope he'll come around when he figures out we're sleeping together."
She watched as Amarie set out to work looking rather pissed off that Arden had decided to leave. She knew how much Amarie always like Arden and that childhood crush seemed to carry on for years, even until now. She didn't quite understand it though. Arden was an asshole to most people even though he always had a soft spot for Amarie. Maybe that's what she liked.. all the girls in their group seemed to like that but Owen was not like that...not anymore that she saw.
When he asked about her riding a bike she blushed a little and shook her head no. She didn't want him to think of her as soft, but in that regard she was. She didn't hang out with tough guys or gals in New Orleans. Her friends and boyfriends were city dwellers who used public transportation and their own cars to get where they were going. They drank vodka and wine, not beer.
"I'm thinking I just straddle the seat and hold on to you. Sound about right?"
She gathered up the belongings off the deck and headed down the stairs towards the chosen bike Owen and Charles spoke about. She stuffed the bags into the saddlebags on the bike, thinking they could certainly store the bottles of drugs she was going to bring back. That would lighten the load on her back upon their return.
Sky sat there in silence just letting her mind wander into her emotions. She really didn’t know how to feel any more about Ric. He simply wasn’t the man she had fallen for so long ago. She didn’t even really recognize him at this point all she knew was that wasn’t Ric anymore. The man he had become scared her and drove her further away with his actions. She heard Charles speak that the disagreement was about his sister. Which she figured had to be the case to begin with.
Before she had a chance to speak Charles had jumped up to say he was going with Remy. Great good thing he asked her before he just decided to run off. He knew that jace would return and they would leave and now he wanted to leave as well. She just shook her head and looked around to see Jace Arden and the group leave eventually. Amarie spoke to her again but she had walked off before she had a chance to answer. What was it with people and leaving in the middle of conversations?
Not paying any more mind to the people around then she looked down at Walker. “Well at least I got you to listen to me.” She said with a small smile at the child. She had tuned out everyone around her so when Charles voice rang in her ears she jumped slightly. He Asked if she had a minute. Really? “You walk off while we are in a conversation and now you ask if I have a minute? You’re kidding me right?” She said as she stood up and looked at him.
“If your coming to tell me your running off with remy I overheard that part. That was obviously a decision that didn’t need discussion with me. So what do you want Charlie?” She said in a rather cold voice. Her eyes on his It was simple to see she was annoyed and not happy about his choice to run off.

Soon as Jace mentioned Branden would stay behind and help the others build, Amarie took on her gloves and went to fetch a pair for both he and Baron. She hinted for them to follow, saying there was no need to be a hero and work with bare hands. "Yes ma`am." He replied politely, doing exactly what she said, which was fine by him, afterall what they were about to do was just his kind of work he was used too. By the time he walked up to her, she asked about the girls he hung out with, whether he left them asleep at the house or what. "They`re at the other house, last I saw of my girl she went to speak with Jess, the new girl." He glanced toward the girl standing next to Nicole, who was just about to leave with the rest of them. "What she and her sister is doing now, I don`t know, probably sleeping or somethin, they might come on over soon, we`ll see." He added, turning to look back at Amarie.
Without any further delay, he walked behind the truck and started unloading the rebar he had lifted on earlier. With a strong grip he pulled out as much he could take, asking Amarie for instructions. "So, where you want this? I take it you want to make a fence out of it?" He didn`t like to stand around and do nothing, he was a hard working man and he would do what it took to get things done. It was important that the people could feel safe in the bayou, and if he helped out with this, then perhaps they could become good allies down the road. Turning to look at the crowd that was prepping to leave, Branden waved them goodbye.
Post by Amarie Elliott on May 4, 2016 18:02:03 GMT -5
Amarie stopped what she was doing as she watched Arden talk to Jace and suddenly leave. He didn't even ask her if it would be okay for him to leave. He didn't even ask if she would be okay without him here. She was put off by the fact he didn't even say goodbye. Yea, she may have a thing or two to say to him when he got back. She just hoped he would be back before sundown.
Placing a hand on her hip, she watched as they drove off, leaving only her and Branden, at this point, to haul the rebar. She already knew Owen and Remy were heading off to the city leaving her in charge of the house. She didn't like being exposed like this, although she appreciated Branden and the girls staying behind.
Sky likely had her hands full with the baby and probably couldn't do much. She watched Sky talk to Charles, but when their conversation was over, she and Ellie could get them something to eat in the supplies that were brought back from the city. She shook her head and turned back to Branden as he was asking about the rebar he already started hauling. She took a handful also and and pulled it out of the truck, dragging it along the ground towards the fence.
"Bring it down by the fence." He would be able to tell how annoyed she was with Arden leaving her behind, although she had no intentions of taking that out on him. She picked up a long bar and started to measure it, looking to push it into the ground to make long X marks along the fences.
As Branden did just that, she looked up, picking up a mallet from the toolbox as the sun started to rise in the morning sky.
"He just left, just like that. Didn't even ask me if he should or could go. Who does that? It's his house! Would you leave your home if you knew you had to reinforce it? Knowing you had all this work to do?"
She kind of threw all that out at him without him even knowing what was going on between her and Arden. Not that he would even know what her relationship was Arden was. Not that she even had more of a relationship with Arden outside of a friendship. She was feeling frustrated as she drove the first long piece of metal into the ground, starting to pound it into the dirt.

Charles asked the question if Skylar had a minute to talk, but the response he got was far from what he had expected, sure he might have deserved the attitude she gave him, although he had good reason for doing what he did. He needed to be elsewhere, to clear his mind, but most of all he had to keep looking for his sister, and if he could, he would bring supplies back with him. He still hadn`t decided whether he would leave the bayou later or not, right now that was something he needed to figure out on his time alone. However seeing Skylar stand up and ask him angrily was shocking, and for a mere moment he debated to just leave it be, yet he stayed and replied. “I`m sorry for barging off like that, I just, well you know, me being around all these people, around Jace, Arden, after what happened…I need to leave, I can`t stay here.”
He walked over to where she stood and he reached out to grab her hands, which he hoped she allowed. “Look, I won`t be long gone. I`m gonna help the others here gather some supplies, you, Jace, everyone needs it. This is the best way I can assist, also maybe the only way I can find my sister. The last sign I found of her led east, she might have gone to the city. I cannot give up on her, not yet.” He spoke sincere, looking her deep into the eyes.
“I`m here now, and I wasn`t going to leave without a goodbye, nor am I gonna leave without your blessing. I`m not running off with Remy, Owen will be there too. I`ll be back before you know it, most likely before Jace returns. I`m doing this for the common good, we can`t survive on weapons and ammo alone, we need food, we need medicine…What do you say?” Charles asked Sky for an opinion, stating he would stay if she wanted him too.
Skylar stood staring at Charles the aggravation clear in her eyes. He spoke about not being able to stay here around Jace and Arden. Which Sky had no general problem with Arden but hearing him say something about jace didn’t sit well with her. She knew those two would clash but Jace was like her big brother and he was family to her. If Charles and him couldn’t get over it then it would never work in the future.
When he spoke about going to gather supplies and that he wouldn’t be gone long she sighed. He walked closer to her and reach for her hand she let him take the one not supporting walker. He spoke of also needing to find his sister which she couldn’t really be mad at. She was his family and if it was her in this position Skylar would want him to understand. Though she didn’t even know where her brother was. Not since they split ways on bad terms.
She still didn’t want him to go feeling selfish because of this bit she really wanted him to stay here. What happened if he didn’t make it back before jace. She couldn’t guarantee she could get jace to wait for Charles given the current feud between them. “The common good?” Skylar said with a smirk and rolled her eyes. “Arent you just a hero Charlie?” Sky said in a sarcastic tone. “I understand you gotta look for your sister. I just guess im selfish and don’t want you to go. I’ll miss you being here and having to fight you for the pillows.” She said in a softer tone with a small smile.
“You better get back here soon as you can. Come back to me safe okay?” She said with a smile as she leaned up and kissed his cheek. For a moment she glanced down to the little boy between them. His hand had a hold of the leather vest Charles was wearing. “Looks like somebody else thinks you should come back soon to.” Her eyes meeting Charles and then glancing back down at the baby. “Go on hero go and do the greater good before I change my mind. I hope you have luck finding susan.” She said with a smile and a soft voice.
Post by Charles Murphy on May 5, 2016 12:08:47 GMT -5
Skylar allowed him take her one hand as she held onto the baby with the other, and at first she rolled her eyes and smirked on his comment about doing it for the common good, which was amusing, even to him, but then she came to the terms that him leaving was perhaps for the best. It was surprising to say the least, though he could tell she didn`t like it one bit. He couldn`t stay for much longer, people depended on him and his sister was still out there. When she asked him to come back safe, he replied politely. "I will, I promise." The moment she leaned in and gave him a kiss, he passionately returned it. Soon as their lips parted however, the boy in between them held onto his black leather vest, as if he was telling him not to leave. It was an adorable sight and it made Charles smile, looking at both him and the mother.
"So it seems..." He spoke in a low whisper and met Skylar`s gaze, listening to what she continued to say as she told him to go before she changed her mind. With a grateful nod and a smile, he kissed her lips again, rearing back as he said. "Thank you..." His words was short, yet simple, he didn`t feel the need to utter the words goodbye, cause it wasn`t the last they had seen of each other. With a gentle wave with the hand and a cheeky smile at her, he walked back to his bike and once mounted on top off it, he drove to wait at the others in the driveway. When they joined, they left the property together.

Branden stood ready and waited on a response from Amarie as she stared off at the others doing their thing, when she moved behind the truck and started hauling out rebar on her own, she told him to move it down the fence line. The tone in her voice sounded harsh, like she was annoyed at him or something. He wondered what that was all about, yet obeyed her instructions. By the time he reached the fence, he stopped and turned to look at her, seeing that she was measuring a long bar. After she picked up a mallet from the toolbox, she spoke to him again, still frustrated. Branden was confused, what was she on about? Was she talking about Arden? Left dumbfounded he got asked all sorts of questions, to which he answered hesitantly. "Who? Arden?..." He paused for a minute, then continued. "I...I guess not..."
He didn`t really know how to answer that, well he knew, he just didn`t know why she asked it. She was upset no doubt about someone leaving, whoever it was. Carefully, he tried to add. "Our work is important, it needs to be done...yes, ehem."He cleared his throat, looking around at what needed to be done, fully aware that the sun was on the way up. Branden watched as she began to hammer down a piece of metal into the ground, and he sought for a way to help.
Post by Amarie Elliott on May 6, 2016 17:57:26 GMT -5
Amarie fumed a bit as Branden seemed to agree, although she could tell he was terribly uncomfortable in all this. She put another metal rod into the ground, pounding it down in and moving on to the next part of the fence, shoving another rod into the ground as she started to pound it.
"It's his house you know. I mean, I live here too and I've kept watch over it while them other bikers took over the place, but that don't mean I can protect it on my own."
She stopped for a second as he looked at her for a good long minute, having no idea what to say to this woman. They were complete strangers. Maybe that's what made this so easy. He didn't have an opinion about anything between her and Arden. Then, again, without Arden here she could sway him a little more.
"I mean, do I look that bad Branden? If you and me were friends, or maybe more, would you Feel the need to protect me? I try to protect him." She stood there with her hand on her hip watching his reaction as the sun came up. It was starting to get hot out in the sun and maybe, by the time Arden returned, she would be too tired to talk to him about all this.
At the sound of the pounding of her mallet, a walker started to come through the brush, ambling towards them but she didn't pay much attention to it. If it got too close she would just shove one of the metal rods through the head.
"You'd think, by now, he would notice me. But no. He's Arden. No one knows what he thinks about." She shook her head. Poor Branden. She pounded another rod in into the ground, adjusting it as the walker got closer.
"I'm sorry. I'd bet you're probably about sorry you stayed to help now." She turned her back and continued to work on the fence, pushing the rod down and positioning it so it could either pass through the torso of a walker or through the head. She stood next to it, looking at the walker, but still not moving as it got so close she knew it could just lunge and attack. Instead, she stepped back behind the rod, over the wooden fence and watched as the walker just reached for her and slid right down the rusted rod. She wiped her brow as she watched it struggle to get to her, but was stopped completely.
"Looks like that's gonna work. We got a whole fence line to cover."

The pounding of Amarie's mallet into the metal outside woke her up more then anything else right now. She hated waking up early and could not recall a single day during summer break from school where she woke up before 11 a.m. Even then, her mother had to come and get her ass out of bed to do chores around the house.
Today, her eyes snapped wide open and she realized she was alone in the room. Probably alone in the house as she got out of bed and stuck her head out the door. "Arden? Remy? Owen?" She looked down the hall and got no responses, finally ducking back into her room and changing clothes. Finally.
Clean underwear, clean jeans and a t-shirt from the closet. Fresh socks and sneakers were placed on her feet and she was finally up, although begrudgingly. She pounded on Ernie's door as she passed it by knowing he was probably in a drunken coma. "Hey! Get up! Come on Ernie!"
She wasn't even sure what she was supposed to do today but she had an idea. All the supplies she got from the warehouse needed to be unpacked and put in places they could easily find. She wanted to make a little place in the woods where she could stash some emergency supplies and she wanted to make more runs in the future. She knew of places where they could get stuff and houses they could get into.
For now, she would settle herself in downstairs to unload the boxes of matches, freeze dried food and other sundries she managed to steal away.

The black bike, Emma to her owner, tore across the drive way at a neck breaking speed but the Irishman riding her didn't care because speed was life. The day was a pretty one and he'd done been up since first day light riding the ever so empty streets, taking backroads to remember, and marking other farms that had equipment he'd later go back for once he had the help. Fucking Baron had better lend a hand or he was going to stop feeding him!
He came to a sliding stop right at the front steps, killing the engine. As usual the place was dead quiet, "Lazy fucks," he mumbled climbing the steps.
He busted through the front door singing loudly, "Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art."
Then he stopped just inside the kitchen door grabbing his chest, "Love be to thy Jaysus, wha' a pretty lass my eyes fell upon," if this had been a cartoon he'd been the wolf with the tongue rolling across the floor, "Hope I didn' startle you Angel with tha' horrible sangin' but Uncle Toby has to wake these 'ere fine folks somehow."
Post by Ellie St. Mordeaux on May 8, 2016 14:34:14 GMT -5
Ellie heard the roar of the bike pull up to the house, but didn't think much of it. She saw the other bikers her friend Amarie brought home and just figured it was one of them. The singing however, was terrible. Another drunk, great. Probably a friend of Ernie's coming to get more of his stash.
In the kitchen, she was unpacking one of the boxes that had canned food, putting them neatly away in the nearly empty cupboard as if she had just gone grocery shopping with her mom and was told to put everything away. Some habits were hard to break. The singing got louder and as the door slammed open, she jumped, immediately reaching for a gun that wasn't there at her side.
"Dammit," she cursed as she listened to the voice with the hardened accent coming into the kitchen. She turned slowly to see the man standing there, looking her up and down as if he had never seen a woman before.
She stared at him for a long moment holding two cans in her hands as he clutched his chest calling her a vision of beauty or some such nonsense. She rolled her eyes and shook her head, but she couldn't help but laugh.
"If you're wanting something from me, I ain't got it. Ernie's still sleeping." She figured he was just here for the drugs that she was almost certain were all ingested by Baron the night before. At least, by the way he was acting, she could swear he took them all.
She turned back to her chores, putting away the cans of food until the box was nearly empty. This place was a wreck from the bikers that ran off her and Arden and she wanted to make it nice again. She wanted to make it home.
"Who the hell are you anyways? You weren't here last night."
Post by Tobias Wayne on May 8, 2016 14:53:32 GMT -5
Toby was totally caught up in her beauty, almost catching nothing she was saying. In all his life, all the women, the drugs, the booze, and bikes had he encountered such a beautiful woman or object that caught his eye like so. As rare as it is said, Tobias Wayne would give up his bike Emma for a woman this beautiful.
"Ernie? Eh no lass I wasn't looking fer him," he stumbled to talk (something EVEN more rare to do), "I wasn' lookin for anyone today, been staying at the Junkyard gettin ready fer crops and uh such, I think. I'm Tobias, or Toby, or what Baron Von Fat calls me Lucky Charms."
He walked on in fidgeting with his hands, 'Jaysus what is my damn problem! She's pretty aye but damn I don't know,' he thought to himself. He grabbed a box of stuff and offered his help, "I helped take this place back with Charles and them, wha' can I do to help you lass?"

Ellie caught the stutter and it made her chuckled a little. He wasn't some shy boy that didn't know how to talk to girls. He was some biker that probably banged a different girl every week. So what was his problem with her? She shrugged it off and finished putting away the cans before looking at the fridge, too terrified to open it. She had no idea how rotted everything was in there, even though they practically cleaned it out when the outbreak started. She didn't know what the hell those bikers put in there.
"Oh yea, the old junk yard. Amarie used to work there. You probably got yourself a little fortress going on in there." She turned back to him with a knife in one hand and a spatula in the other with a grin. "I bet you could call yourself King Tobias in there now."
But who the hell was Baron Von Fat? She looked at him oddly as he said that and laughed a little. "Right, Lucky Charms, cuz you Irish or something like that? Damn, I loved picking out those little marsh mellows when momma bought it at the store. Ernie and Arden would yell at me for eating them all and leaving them with that shitty cereal."
It was then she realized she hadn't even told him who she was yet. "I'm Ellie. Ernie and Arden are my brothers. So..yea. Thanks for helping us get the house back. You want some supplies to take back with you? I got lots of stuff here."
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
