Amber helped Thadd take Josie to the med bay. She spoke briefly to Sarah and Abby both, telling them that they needed to let her stay. Josie had been through to much, and they needed to help her. Amber trusted her. They couldn't just turn away. She saw her family, the reaction was genuine. She had been telling the truth. No one to betray them to. Maybe she would become loyal to the farm.
She had been waiting for her to awake, going in and out of the room, checking on both the farm, and the runs she was to organize. But with needing more survalice and the constant security they needed more bodies. Runs would be small, one group out at a time, never more than three.
She watched as Josie awoke, Thadd moving to her side to comfort her, Amber felt awkward , she didn't know what to say.
Dean spoke, looking at Amber. "Her BP was good, no trauma to the head or anything from what I saw. Your lucky you cushy her Thadd, or she may if had a broken bone from the fall. She entered shock. She have blankets, some liquids for her, Water, tang, all that. Make sure she keeps it up." He stood up. "i guess ill see you around. If you need anything I'll be in the barn."
Josie heard another man talking and looked to see Dean as he was rattling off about her vitals and the fact nothing was broken. At least, not physically. As Thad held her hair back she wiped at her eyes, setting the bucket down on the floor and covering her mouth a little.
"Yes, some water would be nice, thanks."
She didn't know what to say really as she looked to the wall in front of her and just stared. "I'll..I'll be okay. It was just..." Thad and Amber knew what it was. They saw the scene just as much as she did only she had lost so much more. It was her entire family that was left that was completely wiped out.
"I just need time. I don't want to go back there." She just sat on the bed feeling her toes beneath the blanket on the bed. They must have taken her shoes off for her. It was kind of them to be here for her as she just tried to place the trauma in a compartment that didn't exist in her mind. She didn't say anything. She couldn't say anything. She needed to think about what to do now and if staying at the farm was her option then she would have to offer up whatever she could.
Sarah came into the house from the cellar. She had been putting away supplies. She saw Amber standing in the hall and stopped. She glanced inside and saw Thad speaking to Josie. She didn't mean to, but she felt herself bristle for a moment. She had to make herself stop. She had no claim on him, she reminded herself and made the green eyed monster go back to sleep.
She watched for a moment and then looked at Amber," she gonna be okay?" She whispered softly. She did hope the woman would be alright, even if she had a slightly jealous moment. She couldn't believe it herself. She had no reason to get jealous.
She waited for an answer and then nodded." I'm gonna go and find Abby, she needs to eat. Gotta stay on her about it. If you all need anything, just let me know."

"Take all the time you need. After today, no one expects you to be back on your feet, anytime soon. Amber and I, we saw what happened today. Rest, don't think about it to much. You're welcome to stay as long as you like. And I hope you do. What you went through today, you need people. We're here for you. If you need anything. I'll be here," Thadd said with a smile. "The farm will be good for you. I hope it will."
Dean had gotten water for the girl, handed her the cup. "Sure you don't need something stronger," he said under his breath, only to receive a scowl from Thadd. "If I'm not needed, which the vomit is from shock, not infection related, I'll be going. In the barn if you need me." He left, passing Amber and Sarah.
Thad looked at Josie, offered a hand. "I don't know if we ever formally introduced. I'm Thaddeus, or simply Thadd. This is a good place. The farm has good people, strong walls, and guns. After today, we need to be more careful. I hope you can stick around. We need strong people like you on guard duty." He smiled, looking up only to see Sarah leave.

Amber heard Sarah come up behind her and turned around. She watched the woman, looking back briefly at Josie. "Dean said she'll be fine. She passed out due to shock. I want to have her stay in here over night, monitored, watched. I asked her the questions already, she checks out. Plus she's broken, abandoned. She needs us, needs help."
Amber paused. "Thadd agreed. She saved my life, we owe her this much. I trust her. I'd like her to stay, if she wants to. She Sisa she does. I'm not we just need one more and it majority vote. I think she should stay, but if you don't. I can ask Max, or Abby." She crossed her arms, "she's been through a lot. I'd rather her get it over with and be able to stay."
She nodded as Sarahnsaid she needed to go check on Abby, letting her lesve. Amber wanted her to think over what she said. The farm needed Josie, as much as they all did.
Amber moved into the room. "I know I didn't earlier. But I wanted to thank you. Thank you from brining me back here, for saving my life."
Josie thanked the man that brought her the water and took a sip as she looked at Thad. He offered up his hand as he introduced himself and with a shaky hand, she offered hers up also. "Nice to meet you. Call me Josie." She turned and set the cup of water down on the nightstand next to the bed and drew her legs up, wrapping her arms around them as she thought about what she had just come out of. When Amber approached, thanking her for saving her life she just smiled as much as she could and nodded her head a bit. "You'd do the same for me. Think nothing of it."
She stayed put on the bed and turned her head towards the window, just thinking for a moment. She didn't want this to be awkward for either of them. She never knew what to say to people when there were sudden deaths and she wouldn't expect them to do the same.
"Look if ya'll have things you need to do you can go do them. I just need to mourn a little, you know?" She turned her head back to Amber who still stood in the doorway before looking back at Thad who seemed to soften up during all this. She appreciated it, but she also knew she just needed some space.
"I'll go wander around and get familiar with the place. I guess I'm going to be here a while."
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
