Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
- Shaun lived a normal life. He married his high school sweetheart, got a degree to become a mechanic. He owned a single story house. After being married for two years his wife became pregnant. She gave birth to a baby boy. As time went on they tried for another kid, but had to luck. Seeking a doctor they found out that Janet had become infertile, and would never have any other kids. The treated Tim as their miracle, spoiling him and loving him. Shaun was close with his family, especially his brother and his brother.s wife. He lost his mother and father in back to back years. His father had a stroke while trucking in another state. He lost his memory of who he was later dieing a week later from another stoke. The year before his mother had been stabbed in killed by muggers while in Mexico. They had taken all her belongings and left her body in the street. That was over 17 years ago, but he still remembers the phone calls both times.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
- Shaun's brother picked up his family in their truck. They set off for the city where they were telling people to go. The five of them, and scout, found out the worse way what it was like. City was in chaos, people running, riots, fires. They fled to a farmhouse where an old couple took them in.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
- four months into the apocalypse things took a turn for the worse. Harriet, who was pregnant with Jack's child died when walker swarmed the farm. The farmer's wife died as well, forcing the others to flee. They stopped at the side of the road and camped out for the night. Come morning the found the farmer had killed himself, and his brother had taken off south for Louisiana (where there parents had both been born). The nnote they found left by him had said something about going to die, and wanting to see their parents home before he died.
Now just with his family he kept on. They set off south, slowly and slowly each day going to find his brother. The encountered many obstacles but none like a few weeks after the farm loosing their truck. They would search each town they came across for Jack, and supplies. They would get a car where they could, Shaun fixing what he could with parts. Most of the time they would walk for days, stopping to rest a day at a time.
Over Two years into the apocalypse Shaun lost his wife. They were cornered in a warehouse and walkers took their lives. Shaun killed the walkers, and held his
Dying wife in his arms as she turned. It was there they learned that you turn no matter what. Shaun was forced to kill his now zombified wife before she turned.
A few months later Shaun and his son came across raiders. They took everything they had and kept them in handcuffs. One of the raiders attempted to rape Tim, closest he had to a woman in a long time. Shaun lashed out. He freed himself, killing the raiders without a second chance. He fought as hard as he could, burning the store to the ground once he was done.
Tim, who hadn't been harmed thanks to his dad would die a week later. He would get bit while in their camp for the night. Without telling his dad he became weak and tired. Tim collapsed and Shaun went for shelter. He found the bite, knowing there was nothing to do for his son. He put the gun to his head, and ended his sons life, sparing him from turning.
Shaun out the gun to his own head and was about to pull the trigger. His other hand was in his pocket. It found the note his brother had left. His last bit of hope. He picked himself up and left with just his dog for Lousiana.
There he hopes to find his brother, as well as his family home.
