Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
-Aurora was a nurse at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland. She grew up Gresham, just outside the city and lived there with her daughter Emily. She was a divorced mother of one but had a decent relationship with her ex-husband who was a doctor. Her daughter stayed with him on weekends when she would pick up extra shifts to take care of her during the week days. There were times she struggled, having to move out of the larger house she shared with her ex into a two bedroom apartment, but she made it work somehow. She was always making friends at the hospital and cared very much for her patients. She even won employee of the year at the hospital.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
-She spent day and night at the hospital taking in afflicted patients and when her ex husband was run off from his own personal practice, he came to the hospital to help. The dead started to take over and her, her daughter and her ex were all practically living there until the night Emily was attacked by a patient who wasn't strapped down properly. That patient was already dead. The reality of it hurt Aaron so much, he went across the border, leaving her to fend for herself and go with a small group, including a firefighter friend Richard to a safe house in the city.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
The grieving process has been difficult for her having had to flee the city so quickly. It hurt even more that Richard found his brother Aiden and his family was in tact. She now finds herself constantly struggling on an emotional rollercoaster as she sees Aiden and his son together. She fights when she has to, but heals more when she needs to. She is convinced her wounds will never heal as she lives on, but that dance between raindrops is dicey. She knows it's only a matter of time when a storm will come and wash her away. But she tries to put on a brave face for everyone in her group.
