(ooc: We're not at the Arch anymore... Actually we're slightly off map to the southeast, at Hampton Ave. and I-44... The red border marks the "Dogtown" neighborhood...
...north of Dogtown is the western half of Forest Park (larger than New York's Central Park) with lots of places to be killed I mean find useful items. The St. Louis Zoo is there, and to the northeast in Forest Park, the St. Louis Science Center (currently occupied by hostile survivors...hehehe)
(ooc: Around a hundred years ago, Dogtown was a coal mining community. Most of the shafts are sealed up and streets / houses built over them but maybe we can find nice dark hiding places...)
(ooc: yes post here, re: Franklin volun-telling Raf and Cua to go with Dutch to acquire a vehicle and come back for him and Josie, and the heavy weaponry. And, you're up.)

It had been one hell of a ride, but they all made it out. Raphael still couldn’t believe he found Franklin, his old pal. He just sat in a corner during the whole ride, trying to get his mind together. Of course his Mother was there too, he could see how she was around Franklin and the others which he didn’t know yet. But now that he found new people, he didn’t want to look crazy, so he didn’t tell his mother to leave them alone. Instead he closed his eyes and just waited for her to go away.
As the finally stopped he opened his eyes and scanned the bus. “She's gone.” He spoke relieved, but very softly so no one would hear. He made his way over to Franklin and listened to the plan. From what he could understand he had to go with a man and a girl and he had to cover the man while he hotwired a car. “Cover…..” Raphael stopped himself, he nearly asked cover from what, he didn’t see the zombies as a threat. But he was glad the good half of his brain kicked in and stopped him from finishing that sentence. “Cover, him got it.” He replied.
His eyes turned to Dutch as he ordered them to bring quiet weapons only and told him to put the Uzis away. Raphael rolled his eyes. “Relax smartass, I survived this long, I know what to do.” Raph replied. Deep down he know he sometimes didn’t know what he was doing, but no need to admit it. Raphael then walked over to his backpack, put the Uzis in there and checked his belt to make sure his butcher knife was still there. He took it out of the holster and walked back over to the other. “Ready.” He said.
Dutch squinted at Raphael, imagining snapping his neck and leaving his body in the street, but Franklin grabbed his shoulder and squeezed. Franklin said, "It's 'keep each other alive time,'" as he handed Dutch his 18" machete, "So all three of you come back on your feet. Find a car, get it running, and get back here. Cua are you going? I'll take care of Josie. All five of us are going to eat good and sleep safe tonight."
Cua noticed the machete Franklin handed to Dutch was drenched in fresh blood, and it wasn't the black ichor of the animated dead. This added to her suspicions that she had joined a band of psychopaths.
Cua's grip tightened on her shotgun. "I'm staying with Josie."
Franklin shot Cua a look, then relented. She wouldn't get far carrying four AR-15s and 2,000 rounds of ammo, but she could create a pile of corpses for the endless walkers she would attract to climb over.
Franklin said, "Do not fire any guns. We don't know how many fuglies are still bottlenecked at the Skywalk over 40. I'm guessing at least 30,000 since the last time I counted, especially with the flooding lately. We'll be back ASAFP."
Franklin didn't want to worry the women further so he divided the number of walkers he knew to be trapped on US 40 / I-64 by ten. The roadblocks and barricades erected across the highway beneath the Science Center's Skywalk created a chokepoint attracting more walkers with the moans of the other walkers trapped between unscaleable concrete inclines. A significant amount of noise would cause an overrun of Dogtown by walkers coming east and south down Oakland and Hampton Avenues off of I-64.
"I guess it's us then," Franklin nodded to Dutch and Rafael.

Raphael listened to them all. He listened to Frankin as he told them they had to find a car and all 3 of them had to survive. It would be the first time in long that he should care for others, but he just nodded and decided he would listened to Franklin for now. Seemed like the girl didn’t want to go, he rolled his eyes. “Women.” He said. Then he looked back at Franklin. “Shall we?” he asked.
(It’s short so sorry, but wasn’t a lot to work with though xD)
Franklin hated leaving the AR-15s and cache of ammo behind with two people... women... that he didn't know. As the three men fanned out northward, Franklin glanced over his shoulder back at the bus. The Asian woman seemed capable, but the Latina was injured and too groggy to fight. Franklin and Dutch had just murdered twenty people in cold blood to get those weapons. If need be, the two women would meet a similar fate. It would be a shame... Women were in short supply back at the barges... In the world for that matter... And the Latina Josie reminded Franklin of his ex-wife Consuela. Franklin mused that had he had known women would be so hard to find he would have never thrown his ex-wife to the walkers. Then he thought, "yes I would have." Franklin's only real regret was not capturing his ex-wife's demise on video to enjoy over and over with popcorn.
The trio arrived at the used car lot, but Dutch cursed as he couldn't get a vehicle started. No spark, as batteries sitting for two years along with fuel degrading made finding operable vehicles a luxury disappearing from the world.
Suddenly a car drove eastward two blocks away...
The Science Center... A bunch of Bible thumpers had holed up there around six months ago, and they didn't welcome Franklin then.
"I think I know where that car is going," Franklin said, "And we're going to get it."
(Hey, guys sorry about not being around. I hate to report that my computer is still at the place getting fixed. HOWEVER, it should be back within the next week!)
Dutch watched the car drive by. It was probably belonging to the Science Center people, those guys had been dicks when Dutch went to meet them a few months ago. Perhaps Frankie will warrant an act of genocide, he didn't seem to mind when we did it to the crips.....
(ooc: I had thought the other players would have jumped in by now...grrr.)
Franklin grimaced at the sun setting in the west and even from Roberts and Hampton Avenue he could hear the growling snarls of thousands of dead ones on I-64 to the north. Nothing was going as planned. It was becoming obvious that whatever working vehicle and scrap of food there ever was in Dogtown had been picked clean in the two years since God took a shit on the Earth. Someone desperate had even rigged up a car battery, jumper cables, a sump pump and a garden hose to siphon gasoline out of a gas station's underground tank.
"It's getting dark. We need a new plan. Those Gatekeeper nuts aren't going to just give us a car. Not without a fight. I did promise them a fight," he winked at Dutch.
Franklin explained to Rafael that around a year ago some holy rollers had walled up the highway (I-64) beneath the Science Center's Skywalk bridge and turned the place into a fortress. Franklin and Dutch had been denied sanctuary by them.
"We need to go back to the bus, get the assault rifles and find a house or building to camp out. We're a long way away from not being completely fucked."

Raphael nodded as Franklin said they needed a new plan since it was getting dark. “Yes, agreed.” He replied. Franklin also told something about gate keepers, but Raph had no clue was he was talking about.
But just then Franklin explained they were denied sanctuary. “Hmm, sounds like ass holes, killing them would be fun, but guess we need more manpower, since it is a fortress.” He said. Raphael his mother then appeared, which was normal since it was getting dark and Raphael his mind was getting tired of fighting. She told Raphael he was a bad boy, since he wanted to kill people and how he would probably fail. Raphael just closed his eyes and waited until she was gone, he didn’t want the other two to know, not yet at least.
When the bitch was gone he opned them again and listened to Franklin, he wanted to head back to the bus and search for a house or a camp. “Once more agreed, we need a place for then night, though it won’t be easy.” Raphael replied.
ooc: I have returned. Maybe we can blue book Franklin, Dutch, and Raf escaping Dogtown and taking down the Gatekeepers cult at the St. Louis Science Center and back on the barge community with booty, sailing south after creating the biggest walker magnet ever in the form of a fuel refinery explosion. Gets us moving towards being a villain group that finally meets another group.
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
