Mark let out a grunt of frustration as he slammed the door to a jeep shut. "Shit." His nicotine withdrawal making him really irritable he walked over to the next car. Still within earshot of the RV he didn't intend on going far. The doors were locked on the buick. Grabbing the butt of his shotgun he smashed the passenger window and reached into the vehicle unlocking it. Dumping out personal effects and clothes from the duffle bag inside the one eyed biker was getting ready to let his rage take over when he heard something fall out of the bag.
A carton of cigarettes. Mark let out a laugh as he grabbed the carton practically ripping it open. Grabbing a pack out of the carton he pulled out a cigarette and lit it. Sitting on the buick he took a long drag from the cigarette and exhaled the smoke. He was relaxed until he heard heavy footsteps. Grabbing his shotgun he turned to face a man taller and bigger than him. "Sup?"
The biker and the man stared each other down before the man grabbed Mark and threw him back. Mark let out a groan as the larger man grabbed him by his hoodie and threw him back towards the RV. Mark took two steps before turning around and punching the man in the stomach. The large man didn't even flinch as his giant hand wrapped around the bikers neck. Mark was lifted up and slammed onto the hood of a car.
Brett crouched down to Clementine as she shook Lilly. "It's my own little creation. It's a powerful hallucinogen right now she could be anywhere." The cult leader reached up to Lilly and gently brushed a strand of hair from her face. "I'm afraid i've never tested it on a child. Or dog. Do as I say and neither of you becomes a test subject."
Standing up he walked into the living area of the RV and spotted Marks vest on the bench where Clementine was sleeping. He grabbed it and started to examine the patches on it. "The leader of your group. What's his name and where is he?" Looking at Clementine he threw the vest back onto the bench.

Clem rose, her eyes still on Lilly. She hoped whatever that needle was taking her, it was to some place as good as Clem's dream picnic had been. She went to Mark's vest, and hugged it before using it to lay over the still sleeping baby Lee. She turned and narrowed her gaze at the man “Ed isn't here.”
She headed over to the door, meaning to show Brett the way out. She continued in a matter of fact tone, “He took Remy, Anthony and Vivian to find some more food. And if you're still here when they get back, you're gonna be sorry. V-nerd may be small, but she's crack shot with her rifle. Ed and Remy don't like strangers hanging around much either, so I'll tell Ed you were looking for him.”
Looking outside, the shock of seeing Mark being bruised about by an even more monster of a man derailed her from covering his name too. M-. Mark!”

Brett watched the Child as she talked about a man named Ed. As she narrowed her gaze at him he just kept a warm smile on his face. "And they left you out here alone?." As she looked outside and spotted a large man being slammed around by Brother Raj. He let out a chuckle. "It's not often someone close to his size comes in."
He sat down on the bench. "Truth be told I thought they'd have gotten here later." Smiling his warm grin he leaned back on the couch as if he was having a normal conversation with a family friend. "How well do you know that man outside Little Clementine?"
"Alright I'm skipping right to the point." His warm demeanor quickly changed as he stared the little child down. "Since you're the only one whose able to speak I'm going to offer you a trade. Either I let Brother Raj out there beat Mark to bloody pulp and We'll take Lilly with us. Getting injected with my special toxins daily slowly being turned to the word of the LORD!" He raised his hands up as if he was speaking directly to an unseen deity.
"Or you can give me the baby." He lowered his gaze slowly to the little girl his face neutral as he began to tap his foot. "I will raise that child as one of my own and they will be accepted into heaven. I'm not this kind normally child. I've done things that you sinners would dare say I'm wicked for doing but I'm just feeding my people."
Kiku drug Al outside of the RV, she didn't like him being inside with all the kids. She didn't like being alone with him either but someone had to keep an eye on him. "You can defend yourself, right?"
Al smiled at her as she shoved him out the door, "Ooo I like it rough."
Kiku rolled her eyes and shoved him up against the RV, "Listen here, the only reason why we let you stick with us is because you have information. So why don't you spill before I make an executive decision."
Al just smirked, "Well, they don't just leave. So why don't you tell me, where do you think they went?"
Kiku stared at him, "Don't tell me that you're part of their group! Did you just divide us up on purpose!?"
Suddenly Kiku heard a thump inside the RV, she swiftly turned on her heal and went to open the door but Al put his hand firmly on the door. Kiku turned to yell at him but saw him looking at the door with his finger in front of his mouth. She listened, and heard muffled talking. It was a mans voice.
Next thing she heard was fighting, but this wasn't inside the RV. She gripped her kunai, ready to run in and fight. Al put his hand over hers and pulled her away from the RV. "We gotta get out of here," he whispered as he tore her away from the RV.
"They need our help," she protested, "Clem is in there, and so is the baby. And Mark only has one eye, he isn't in top fighting condition."
"Yes, yes, this is all true, however, someone has to tell the others."
"Then you go tell them," she pushed him off of her, "I'm going back to fight them off."
She turned to run off but he reached out to grab her, but all he could grip onto was the small chain wrapped around her neck which snapped and broke free. A small gold band fell to the ground as she ran back to the RV to help the others.
Al picked up the ring and left, off to go find the others.
[OOC: Sorry for the delayed reply, my days have gotten busier.]
Al took his time putting a distance between himself and the RV. He knew that what would follow was not going to be good for him. He's new to this group and their trust of him is sketchy at best. He would have to choose his words wisely.
Once he put a decent distance between himself and the RV, he broke out into a run. They haven't been gone long and they would be walking at an average rate, he should reach them quickly.
Tori followed Ash and Dakota out of the RV and through the car graveyard. Huh, only one letter away from card graveyard and a Yu-Gi-Oh joke. Close but no cigar, Tori. Maybe next time you can force the joke in. While the redhead was looking around the cars she noticed something strange about her reflection in the window. She looked orange...
Tori moved to the rear view mirror that was a little more clear to get a better look at her face, and that's when she saw it. Her face colored orange with bits of green around her hairline. Facial expressions going from disbelief, to realization, and then to anger. So that what everybody had been snickering about back in the RV, and no one thought to say a word? Well then! Tori turned to look for Dakota but before she could find her she noticed some people up ahead. Then Dakota rejoined with the rest of them.
“Are those your people?” Tori asked Richard. Then noticing that the new guy with their group was headed this way. “What is he doing here?” Tori motioned with her hand for Al to stay down so he didn't get spotted by the strangers. For all they knew they were the religious nut whacks from before.

Nic had been walking for what felt like days. His legs were sore, he was tired. His back bounced on his back with each step. He needed to rest, even just for a bit. It had been weeks since he got a decent sleep, but he needed to move on. He was hoping the campus would be safe, that he would be able to lock up one of the rooms, sleep in actual bed.
He didn't even know where to begin to look for Wyatt. The country was to big, not mentioning the stretch of land between Alaska and here. He debated going home, but the cold was to much, ecspecially now, colorado was bad enough. He thought about farther south, toward the ocean. Where had wyatt gone, what state. He cpuldn't predict his brothers movements, even as close as they were. Wyatt most likely found himself a group, was sticking with them. His brother was a follower, despite him thinking he was a leader, Nic knew he wasn't.
Nic walked amoungst the graveyard of card. His rifel banged into one every so often. Pulling it tighter he saw movement ahead. It was walkers, stumbling sround, he could smell them from here. Nic got low, pulling the rifel from his back. He made sure it was loaded. It was risky to take the shot, but there was to many to take out all at once, they were bunched to tight.
As he set up the rifle on the trunk of the car he took a breath. Just as he was about to squeeze the trigger he stopped. Movement off to the side caught his eye. There were people, two groups. One group got down, the other we're headed toward them. Nic quickly pulled the rifel up and got low. He moved to the side, watching from around the corner at what was going on.
Ash kept an eye on the road as they walked. He'd glance back at Dakota every time she come close and smile. Watching Tori realize what the two girls did to her brought a smiled to his face and start chuckling. His smile quickly faded as Dakota pointed out the group ahead. "Shit." He was getting to used to having Shadow point out walkers.
Moving behind the vehicle with Dakota he kept his crossbow in his arms as he Al came running up to them. "Oh Jesus Christ what now?" Waving down the running man to join them behind the vehicle. "Dakota keep an eye on the group ahead." The texan told the girl before pulling her hat back a bit and gave her his warm carefree smile. "Thanks for pointing Al out Tori I honestly would have shot him if you didn't call him out."

There were no good options. Either way, Clem wouldn't be able to live with herself. Sacrificing any of her adopted family was out of the question. She could to stall for time. Staring in at Mark, and glancing back to Lilly on the floor. "Fine. You can have the baby, but I'm coming with you too."
It wasn't much of a plan, but she hoped Ash and the others wouldn't be too far off. This way she could personally assure nothing happened to baby Lee too. Clem went gather Lee's diaper bag, quietly slipping her own gun into it and knife into it. She would need them for Plan B. If all else failed, runaway at first opportunity.
Under the guise of finding the last of the baby's things, she borrowed Dakota's magnesium fire starter, can opener and the roll of string they had used to make their masks with. While moving them to the diaper bag, she looked into Dakota's pack and saw two glass eyes peering out at her. She sighed and mentally noted to the stuffed unicorn she felt like Dakota looking at her through:
*I'll give these back to you in person. That's a promise.*
Clementine slipped the diaper bag over her hat and head, and scooped Lee up into her arms. Cradling the infant to her chest, she slipped on out the door, ready to follow Brett, but hoping Ash, Kiku, Tori, Richard or even Al would see them.

Dakota smiled back to Ash, glancing briefly to Al as he came up. She quickly fixed her attention back on the small group of walkers she had spotted ahead. The way they lurched about made it more clear they weren't among the living. They were just generally milling about the car graveyard. She stayed down, and raised her crossbow to aim at the tallest one's head. It was the closest, and wandering closer.
Keeping an ear out for what Al might have to say, Dakota kept her hazel gaze focused ahead. The tall one kept hovering on the brink of uncomfortably near, but not close enough to risk drawing the attention of other walkers. One quarter turn, and it slipped one row of cars too close for Koda's comfort. She unleashed the loaded bolt, sending it screaming for the tall walker's forehead. The bolt struck square, but was deflected off to the side. Amidst the the deep scrape left behind, a small glint revealed a hint of the metal plate this walker had put in before the outbreak took its life. Unphased, the tall walker indeed had a target now.
((Sorry for the delay. Work's been kicking my ass. Kind of bad when you make your own hours.))
“I'm surprised no one else has shot him yet,” Tori whispered.
Further examination of the group up ahead concluded that they were in fact walkers, and to Tori's surprise she let out a sigh of relief. Really? Things had gotten so bad Tori actually found it refreshing that they were dealing with the undead and not living, breathing people? The redhead wasn't sure how to feel about that one. She didn't have time to think as Dakota sunk an arrow in one's head just for it to deflect. Seeing the glint from its skull.
“Oh, you have to be kidding me!”
Tori got out of her hiding place and took out the knife she hijacked from Richard. Plunging the blade through the eye of the walker hoping that the plate ended at the forehead. Whether it did or didn't turned out to be irrelevant. The knife wasn't long enough to pierce the brain. So much for that. The walker grabbed her and bared his teeth at her, but Tori managed to kick it away. Allowing the bat to slide down her sleeve and whacking the undead across the head hard enough to send it into the ground, but that alerted a couple more walkers over yonder to their position. This was not turning out to be a good day.
When Kiku ran back to the RV she suddenly felt a hard object hit her in the back of her head. She fell to the ground almost in slow motion, the world going black. She never saw her attacker but she couldn't help but continue thinking, please be safe, please let them be safe.
Al looked at the strange people who stood before him. He still didn't know exactly what to say that wouldn't make him look bad, but he had to say something. He looked into Ash's eyes, "It's a trap. The psycho was hiding in the RV!"
Ashs eyes widened as Al told them the news. "What!?!" Where? Where could he be hiding in the RV? Was there any place to hide? Then it dawned on Ash. "The bathroom." He said quietly realizing why it was locked. Mentally kicking himself he shouldn't have shrugged it off like he did. "Change of plans everyone back to the RV!" Ash commanded and quickly stood up.
The texan didn't want to waste any time getting back to the RV. Grabbing his crossbow he started to run through the graveyard of cars back to the RV a million questions racing through his mind fearing the worst of the people the left behind.
Brett walked out of the RV smiling. He watched Brother Raj standing over the biker who struggled to move. "Brother Raj that's quite enough." The larger man nodded as he moved back to the cult leader. "Come little Clementine. We've got a short walk to the van. Then we're putting you in a room with the other children." He smiled Warmly to the little girl before leading them away from the RV. A familiar song started to be sung. "He's got the whole world. In his hands."
Clementine's young heart sank, her hope for intervention fading with every step she tok away from the RV. She hung her head, knowing she would have to keep alert to any opportunity to escape with Lee on her own. As she followed, she mentally hoped baby Lee wouldn't be too mad her, becausethere was one way he could help.
She glanced back one more time at the beating Mark had taken. Taking a deep breath, she hugged baby Lee up to her shoulder, and whispered an apology meant for not just the infant. "I'm sorry." She slid a hand in to support baby Lee's back, secretly pinching his arm. Soon as the baby started to cry, she gently rocked him oon the way to the van. In the van she would get him quiet again with a bottle.

Focused on covering Tori, it took Dakota a couple seconds longer to process Al's warning. What pyscho? That one from back in the tunnel/ What? Oh, fuck! Tori still needed help! Dakota felt like the world was finally trying rip the last shred of everything decent or normal she had managed to keep or reclaim. That psycho was back at the RV doing who knows what to take away one of half of her family, and those couple walkers looked like they wanted to rip the other half to pieces.
Her fear and rage were both very real, and as impulsive she could be, it would have been very easy for her to be carried away into either extreme. The idea, she could be in the midst of losing what little she had left in this fucked up world, put her in a desperate focus that kept those two emotions into a perfectly motivating mixture. She was in a rare state where time slows down, her psyche gripped by a cold, clear determination. There was no fucking way she would let this be it.
A transcendent moment, she chose her first target, her youth rifle smoothly slung up to aim, load and fire. One walker advancing toward Tori sprouted a small hole in its temple and fell. Tori could handle herself, so Dakota focused on the walkers that might otherwise overwhelm her big sister oompa loompa. She followed Ash, but her retreat was a slow backpedal and shoot if necessary. There was no letting up her cover, until Tori was clear to break away from any other walkers, and make it back with them. Then and only then would Dakota turn, and hurry after Ash and Al...her mind quickly turning to making sure the half of her family left back at the RV would not be taken away from her either.
Al trailed along behind the group as they walked back to the RV. He remain silent, hoping that the more time spent not blaming him will decrease the odds of this incident becoming his fault. The ring still sat in his tightly closed palm, it was in these moments of silence that he loosened his grip in order to take a closer look at the item that fell from her broken necklace. The gold band was tied together with a modest diamond and the inside had been engraved with "love Al". He felt his heart ache as he realized why she had initially put so much distance between them, his very name reminds her of something she has already lost. He balled his hand back up into a fist and began to walk at a brisk pace.
Kiku heard someone calling her name, it sounded familiar but she couldn't quite place it. What? What did they want? She ran towards the voice, the black void she seemed to have been floating in suddenly was all lit up. She was in her kitchen, it has been so long since she's seen it that it is barely recognizable. Standing at the stove was Al, her Fiance. Her mind went numb and suddenly it was like the apocalypse never happened. She ran up to him and tightly embraced him, burying her face into his shoulder.
"You are awfully affectionate today," he chuckled. When she didn't let go he spoke softly, "what's wrong?"
"I had a nightmare," she said, her face still in his shoulder.
"Oh?"
"The dead were walking and you were missing," she began crying, "I had spent 2 years looking and still hadn't found you."
"Two years?" he pretended to be shocked, "that's a long time."
"I was beginning to forget what you looked like," she finally looked up from his shoulder. His face was missing! She screamed and pushed herself out of his arms. The force pushed her into the cabinets, the impact forced her to the floor, "I don't understand!"
"You do actually," his head began to morph and suddenly she was looking into the face of Al, the man she'd met recently with Mark, "The dead rising, loosing me, it's all real. This right now, is a dream."
"No, it can't be!" she shook her head in denial.
"Wake up Chrys," his face mixing between the two Als, "You have to wake up."
