Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
Charles grew up in the worst part of Chicago, under the care of his single mother who worked in the escort business. Not knowing his father, Charles were often taken care of by the friends of his mom, when she herself could not. Over the years he witnessed many a thing a child should not see, yet he did and it left him scared for life. As he became older, he went to school, gained friends and girlfriends. His mother eventually married a man of the local biker club, the Dread Skull, and some months later gave birth to a little girl named Susan.
Charles and Susan became close like most siblings, but he wasn`t the best role-model one could look up to. He often came into trouble, whether it was with the school or the police. His strict step father punished him accordingly, and decided to bring him into the club in order to get some sense into him. At first Charles was negative toward the notion, but it worked out and he came to enjoy the new way of living, becoming a fully fledged member.
Then, one day it all went to shit, his step father was murdered in cold blood by a rival gang and the club retaliated. His mother became a drunkard and were unable to take care of his little sister, thus the child services came and took her away. Charles tried everything he could to get her back, but like most of his comrades, he too went to jail.
After finally being released from prison, he went back to the club, where he managed to track down his sister through various contacts. By writing her letters, he hoped to reestablish contact, but his letters were rarely ever answered. Meanwhile he got a girlfriend that came to love him, and life was finally turning better, or at least so it seemed.

What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
When news of the deadly sickness went viral, it was already too late to act. People had already started to panic, blaming each other and the government for killing innocents and using unnecessary force against civilians. Riots erupted all over the country, and the police became too busy to handle it all. The national guard was called upon to clean up the mess, but not all went by following their orders. Charles and his club was one of them, instead of trusting the authority they went together in hope of getting their families and loved ones out of the chaos.
Riding through the dead and the living, Charles went to get his drunken mother with his girlfriend, but when they arrived she surprised them both by attacking. Charles`s girlfriend was overwhelmed and fell to the floor screaming for help, and before anyone could react, his mother had already taken a bite. Left with no choice, Charles shot his mother straight in the head, and hesitantly he did the same to his beloved afterwards, who pleaded him to end it.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
In grief he left the city and the state with the club, and kept his promise to his girlfriend by staying alive. With only his friends at his side, they traveled from place to place, surviving. Though as they became less and less in number, and more aggressive toward each other and against outsiders, Charles decided to leave before it escalated, hoping to find his long gone sister who he hoped was still alive somewhere out there.
