Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
-Annette had a fun life. She was a librarian by day, which didn't pay much, but was commissioned by the City of Savannah to be the official historian for the city. That paid more, but she did worked as needed. She had lots of friends, spent lots of time going out to dinner, drinking wine and generally having a good time with her new boyfriend Aaron, who she met at the library. She had never married but spent lots of time reading and had more fun diving into the supernatural side of the city. That paid off well as she offered her findings to the tourism bureau to promote haunted Savannah tours. She lived alone in a 2 bedroom cottage just outside downtown in an old oak tree lined neighborhood. She had 2 cats and a collection of books. She kept herself busy with projects and friends and never felt like her life was lacking.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
-It wasn't a good day for her as her and Aaron had just gotten into a fight about living together. He wanted her to live with him, but she didn't want to move out of her little house. Aaron, a developer in town, had a large home that could accommadate a family, was ready to settle down, marry and have kids, while she was still enjoying her life. It started as walkers coming into the library and she had no time to do anything as people were being attacked. She grabbed what she could as police came to start the evacuation. When she got home, she turned on the news and saw the horror of what was going on. She stayed holed up in her house as long as she could, but eventually had to flee east to her parent's beach house on Wilmington Island where she hoped her family would meet.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
She lives a solitary life although she's met a few people here and there. She has a way of running them off though. Her house, her rules. With nothing to regulate or govern people she fears that soon she'll be overthrown from her home. The windows are boarded up and she has survived two major storms that came off the Atlantic. She's had to hide in the attic several times when scores of walkers have come down the shore but now that the herds are thinning, she's taking her chances and going out on runs. She recently took a trip to Savannah where the devastation of the city broke her heart.
