Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
- Intense daily training and conditioning with the American All-Stars Olympic Team. Dinah won the silver medal for the USA in the Beijing Olympic Games, but she was going for the gold in the next games.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
- Dinah was at the first of the Olympic Trials doing a practice run-through of her balance beam routine (which she was famous for). She executed a stunning flip but lost her balance and fell to the floor on both feet. Suddenly there was screaming everywhere. Thinking it was because she fell, she sent a wave up to the stands to show she was okay, she expected an ear-blistering speech from her coach. He didn't arrive. In fact, he was down on the ground with people standing above him. They turned to her next, blood and gore dripping from their horrendous maws, and arms outstretched. It was all a blur from there. All she remembered was being lifted by the waist and carried out into the sunlight.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
- Dinah traveled with her mother, father, and a large group of about twenty members of the All-Stars and their families. They traveled by vehicles until they ran out of gas, and then they walked. Those who were not athletes quickly perished due to fatigue, exposure, or the biters, and the athletes kept on until there were six left. Dinah is currently still with that group: four men Olympic gymnasts and herself, surviving with sheer luck, strength, and acrobatics.
