Age:
- 29
Race:
- Humans. Caucasian.
Gender:
- Female.
Alignment (good, neutral, bad; or use an alignment from The Alignment System:
- Chaotic Good. What is more, Elizabeth, is often closed minded and often times selflish. She will normally put herself before what other people to believe to be right. She believes that survival depends on not growing attachment. The resources that she carries with her was attained by her own hand, and her hand alone. She believes that survival is precious commodity, but strongly puts faith where loyalty does not come without hindrance. In order to be successful out there in the wasteland she puts her own reasons to survive above all else. She would not hesitate to put someone in the ground if they proved to possess goals that clashed with her own. She protects her valuables, with what little she has, like a parent protects their child. Perhaps there is a certain fear of separation with her core beliefs that scares her the most. That would cause her to avoid the very thing that makes man evil. Vanity is a trigger to cause a man to do vicious things towards others where they have no right to stick their nose. For those that lay witness to Elizabeth in transit, will notice the quiet extrinsic nature. However they would be remiss to think that she is just a harmless hermit. Her frustration with the current state of the world has caused her to become partially cold and callous. While she is willing to help those that truly need the support; she would much rather keep to herself. It is this hard outer shell that causes her to shy away from people, and attempt to avoid them at all costs.

List 3 or more good personality traits:
- Passionate: Elizabeth is passionate in keeping safe and alive. She is also willing, on the very rare occasion, to help others along the way before dropping them somewhere.
- Driven: She is driven to stay ahead of any horde and not become a Biter. If the opportunity arises to sacrifice others to benefit her safety and survival then she would take that chance.
- Calculated: In growing up in a large military family she learned to be decisive at an early age. She has learned to keep her emotions in check and often times be hard to discern.
- Amiable: She can reach a certain level of charismatic charm if the other person does not feign ill intent. However she respects others' decisions, as long as they do not interfere with her own.
- Confident: Her large military family has instilled a sense of pride and boldness. That she uses as a hard, and sometimes callous outer shell. Especially now that the world has gone to Hell. It has made her partially paranoid to other human beings. She is daring and often times bold.
List 3 or more bad personality traits:
- Angry: In losing her family to the outbreak she has become a ticking time bomb. The memory of her family is often times enough to subside the loneliness. Sometimes.
- Arrogant: In her goal to survive by herself she has lost what it means to care for others and feel cared about in return. She will often times listen to reason that is similar to her own.
- Tempered: She is still plagued by recent memories of her family. Even as the initial outbreak fades to scars and mental phantoms, they still touch a delicate subject.
- Conservative: In her complacency to protect what is hers, she will often forget herself as her discipline has slowly chiseled away to paranoia.
- Compulsive: Despite her creed to not get involved there is a soft spot for her family that she feels the need to act out to protect those in need.

Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
- Elizabeth Vinter is the second of three children. Her father and brother served overseas while she attended college. She has completed her degree in journalism and has worked for several newspapers and an art gallery. She grew up in a large family that essentially was never around; she was forced to attend the other side of being a civilian. She attempted to make something out of her life that did not include the military. It was this purpose that she did not invest her time there. It was this reason that she turned away from the military side of the family; perhaps because they were never there to tell her their stories. She figured things out along the way that she needed to do things for herself. So she went to college and became a journalist specializing in photography. She pushed herself as far from her family that she could possibly go in a rebellious attempt that she did not need the military or her militarized family to tell her what to do. She worked hard and chose the camera over the family. She disappeared with the night as she investigated the rough, dingy underground club life that brought her in to an underworld of drug and people trafficking. Her demeanor over the years as a photo journalist turned from curious about the world and its inhabitants to cold and distant.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
- Elizabeth had been at her office in her apartment when the first signs of the outbreak occurred. She was sitting at her computer reviewing some recent photographs she had taken of the people of Chicago. After much deliberation in the Chicago underground of criminal enterprises and dirty cops – she had begun to experience something very interesting. It was during her work with the underground, especially in the dead of night, where she began taking pictures of people that were different. With each snap of her camera, with each picture that she printed she noticed the change in people’s outward demeanor. This silent cry that was changing the city was unbeknown to her at the time that the country was being gripped by a deadly plague. She had soon enough abandoned her job as a photo journalist for the newspaper. In leaving this noble pursuit behind to investigate this obsessive goal of hers ultimately cost her friends and family. It was in the eyes of the people that she found so captivating in her pictures. This captivation held to these new generation of pictures. She was out late at night taking pictures and trying to figure out what was going on with the people in her city. She thought it was just the depression of the economy; the hard times of a hard life. She did not predict it would be beyond her to solve in a simple blog on the Internet. She did not predict the apocalypse, nor was she ready to report on it.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
- She has been scouring the wasteland looking for safe refuge. She has become aware that no where is safe. And a person must do things they are not comfortable with to survive.
