It's been two to three days since Jason had come to the Hunter's Airfield. For the past couple of days, Jason Kern had been taking a Flat bed truck and was taking piece by piece of what he had found at that one Airfield that he and Kane had found. The main body of the vehicle's electronic's were still in good shape. The massive Plane needed to be put together, refitted and crewed with all it had left for it. Once the last piece to the puzzle was in their biggest air craft hanger, Jason went to work with a few of the service men that was their with the group. When a piece of the craft came in, it was unloaded and set right up to it. Most of the time, Jason had stayed awake to help fix up the plane that was going to replace his long lost Helicopter. But when he felt tired and needed the rest, he would fall asleep in the pilot seat and his cap down over his eyes. But, after he woke up after a two hour nap, he would get back to work, trying his best to make sure that this Flying Fortress of the skies above would fly yet again. Taking out a Cigar from his pack, he would then slide his Zippo out of his pocket and lit it up. With smoke filling the area around him, he would walk out of the cockpit and into the main body of the plane as a few were working on redoing the weapon's brackets and the bolts in which keeps the weapons up and evened out in the slots on the side of the plane itself. Turning to his right and jumping out of the door, he landed on the floor to the hanger bay. There was a few working on the massive four engines along the wings.
Walking away from the massive plane that was being worked on, he would turn around and looked at the Iconic logo of the plane, A Ghost that said under it 'Spooky'. The Plane the group was working on was an AC-130 Gunship. This project was taking a good bit of time as he decided he needed to leave the hangar and get something in his stomach. Walking out, he let them know he would be back. Exiting, he walked across the tarmac and walked towards the main building where they ate and slept at. Stepping inside, he just walked right to the kitchen almost looking dead from him being tired. Lack of sleep would make one look like him at this point. Going through the Kitchen, he could smell coffee. That woke him up as he went over to it and picked up a coffee mug and poured in the black liquid into it. Taking a sip from it, he felt the hot bitter taste of the coffee jumping his bodies systems with the Caffeine. Jason would then open the one cabinet and saw a Can of Spaghetti O's. Smiling to himself, he took the can and a spoon and left the kitchen. Pulling the can's top off and tossing it into a trash can, he began to slowly eat the food straight from the can as he sat down in one of those hard plastic waiting chairs in the waiting area in the front of the building. A groan came out of him as he sat fully down and was enjoying his small meal and his hot coffee. As he ate one spoon full, he looked at his ring on his right hand and remembered his wife, then towards Tegan's group. Sighing to himself, he knew that he would need to get in contact with them since it has been a good bit of time since he last talked to them.
An update to his status would be needed, but the AC-130 needed to be finished as fast as possible. Sighing to himself again, he set the half empty can down on a chair beside him and drank a bit more of the coffee before setting it down as well. Standing up, he would walk over towards a window and looked out of it. It was sort of dark from the storm clouds, but it was starting to clear up. His hands were on his hips as he stood there with his Sidearm and his knife on him. His rifle was still in the cockpit of Spooky. Thinking for a bit, he reached up to his headset that rested around his neck, he lifted them up over his ears and turned on his radio. It was still linked with Tamara's group. Pushing in the button, he would say. "This is Jason Kern to San Simeon, over."
