Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
-Before the outbreak Hank ran with the Fools. He was part of that gangster outlaw life. They all had their toes dipping in something a little illegal. For Hank his side business was legitimate. He ran an adult entertainment studio and all of his girls were of legal age. It was pimping and prostitution done the legal way, in front of a camera with safe STD screenings. Figures right?
Hank didn't mind breaking the law. He stole cars, raced along the streets of Detroit in underground street races. He partied and used drugs and accompanied the occasional drug or gun deal. He was a Fool, the club was his family. Anything they needed from him Hank was more than happy to help out with. He funneled a percentage of his adult entertainment profits into the club since Carson was actually the one that gave him the start up money to open it.
Before the outbreak Hank had it all. Money, cars, lots of women who were more than willing to satisfy his needs for a bigger role in one of his movies. Young hungry eyed starlets looking to get ahead and desperate to do so. Hank wasn't a user of women, but he never turned it down. You couldn't ask for a more carefree fun chaotic life... At least Hank couldn't ask for it. He had everything he ever wanted. Money power and respect and he was quietly making a name for himself in the adult entertainment industry.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
- On outbreak day Mouse was on set. He was filming a scene with a particularly troublesome actress. This girl was the very definition of the word Diva. "Cut!" He yelled as he stormed across the set. The actress knew what he was mad about and she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms as he moved over towards her. "Honey, can you at least try and act interested?!?!?" Hank asked annoyed. The girl looked at her co-star and sighed "This guy's an asshole I can't work with him." She said flippantly.
Hank rubbed the bridge of his nose. Ever since yesterday when his leading man told her she wasn't that good in bed he had been dealing with this. She showed no enthusiasm to be on set with him anymore and it was killing the scene. She literally had checked her watch twice in the middle of the scene and that just wouldn't do. Hank was about to go on a tirade when the doors burst open. He turned to see some drunk stumbling into the studio.
"Asshole! Closed set! Where is security? I could have sworn I paid people for this kind of stuff, maybe I'm mistaken." Hank said annoyed more now than ever. He watched as the guy stumbled closer. Hank assumed he was just drunk. He was about two seconds from beating the holy crap out of this guy himself. He watched as the guy got closer. The closer he got the more Hank realized something was wrong. What was wrong with his eyes and he had blood on his shirt. "Hey man you doing alright?" Hank asked laughing a little amused at this guys sorry appearance. The man took a bite out of his leading actress. That's the moment Hanks life changed forever.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
-Hank didn't stay in Detroit after it all fell apart. His club was scattered to the wind. None of them knew that any of their club brothers and sisters survived. So what did Hank do? He headed west. He eventually found himself tangled up with some group of survivors. They were a bunch of useless jerks. School teachers and politicians, city councilmen and cashiers... None of them had the survival sense that he had already ingrained in him.
He already knew what it was like to kill a man before the outbreak. He knew what it was like to not trust someone, because they were trying to kill you and take what you had. The life of the criminal wasn't noble, but it did well to prepare you for what the world would become. Hank said nothing. He just stayed quiet in his little group and allowed the idiots to fight over tiny control when it all meant nothing. He didn't care if these people lived or died. He had a club. He wasn't trying to form a new band of brothers. They were just people he survived with, until... Well, until he didn't. He found himself after three years the lone survivor.
It was amazing they lasted as long as they did. Over the years they hardened to be somewhat crueler, and more calloused versions of their former selves. It didn't matter in the end though. Some were killed by raiders, others by the dead. At the end of the day Hank found himself alone. Somewhere out in Missouri. He didn't know what to do so he spent his time trying to make it back to Detroit. Originally the dead had pushed out him out of Michgan entirely.
He ended up out west as the waves of dead chased him further and further from home. It was about time to be getting back to home. After a year living on his own just scavenging and supplying he decided that it was time to go back to the fool's dice club. It might be empy when he got there, but at least he would be home.
