Everyone seemed to be heading in their own separate directions. The fight was over and the crowd died away. Roy looked through the sea of parting bodies to see Analia. A smirk lit his face as he hopped down out of the cage. He reached his hands up and smoothed down his hair. Suddenly how he looked seemed a whole lot more important. More important than just slaking his ego anyways. She was interested. As stupid as it sounded he couldn't tell. He was always able to tell when they were interested, but not with her. It was the ebb and flow, the continuous witty banter that hinted at it. It was his ego that made him assume it, but he couldn't be sure because she wasn't like most girls. She was strong, independent and for the first time in his life she was a girl that wasn't hanging all over him.
Roy moved over through the crowd. His eyes ever only landing on one place, the upward curls of her lips. She had a nice smile. It wasn't often you got to see a smile in this world anymore, but he enjoyed it while it lasted. Roy presumptuously through his arm over her shoulder. His wrist dangling around her neck, as he pulled her along. "So.... Open to change huh?" He said with a big grin on his face. She would have to be careful about feeding his ego. In fact, the people in his last group had actually nicknamed him Ego. It was fitting. Roy hadn't thought about them since he met Analia. He was always a self absorbed SOB, but it wasn't a lack of caring that kept him from thinking about them. It was Analia. He had trouble thinking about anything else over the last couple weeks.
Mostly it was survival stuff, living, finding food, water stuff like that. But in the quieter moments, he would drift off in his head. Wonder what it'd be like to engage in something more... Physical. Lust sure as hell wasn't genuine feelings, but it was what started all this. It had evolve from something primitive into something more meaningful, at least for him. He was amazed at just how much it had evolved. He was never one to care about people before, only to a certain extent but it was always Roy Walker first, everyone else second. "Buy you a drink then?" He asked remember all the alcohol in the clubhouse. He was trying to be smooth, charming, flirty.
He was in her head and now that he knew it he thought he wielded some kind of power. Like he could make bold plays like wrapping his arm around her like she was already his. Ego, in full swing until she knocked him back down to earth. Roy didn't push his luck and try anything further. He allowed his arm to slip away and he moved up the steps to the clubhouse. He opened the door for her again and motioned for her to go first. Like a gentleman. God, he was laying it on thick. The big cocky grin on his handsome face, he wondered what she was thinking. Just how deep had he wedged himself in her head. Then he started thinking about how her lips might taste. He bet they tasted like honey.
