Things came to a head when Johnny came back. Mickey wasn't sure honestly if Johnny was going to punch Buster or hug him, but in the end everything worked out. Mickey saw Will disappearing upstairs with Joanna. By the way he was pulling her along Mickey figured he knew what was going down. Buster was back! But Will had never been the social type.
Mickey met with a few of the newer people, but it was all just a little much for him. He was glad to have Buster back, but he needed a minute to wrap his head around everything that happened. Mickey slipped outside the clubhouse. He moved into the parking lot and slipped into the front seat of that car he had been working on this morning. The light in the sky was already fading a bit as the sky started to darken.
Mickey slipped a cigarette into his mouth and sighed. Lighting it up with a shaky hand he rolled down the window. He started to chuckle then laugh a little. Fucking Buster was back. And he brought a whole slew of people with him. He was sure he would get filled in on the last four years later but for now grabbing some piece and quiet was all he could do to calm frayed nerves.
He loved this sound. He took another puff of his cigarette and just exhaled a big heavy sigh as he enjoyed the sound of silence. He had a lot on his mind. Things he hadn't told the rest of the club about. Things he hadn't told Missy about. It was actually eating him up inside, but he knew they wouldn't understand. Mickey was just a sweet and good guy. Yeah he was a criminal and a scumbag, but he was a good person. He couldn't share his problems with the people here without them looking at him as soft. Mickey had never killed anyone before the outbreak and he had to a few times after, it was always tough though.
A few days ago he killed a woman and her child. He came across them on a run. They had both been bit. They were huddled up inside the back of an auto parts store. Mickey was looking for a distributor cap. He found them instead. She didn't have any bullets left and she didn't want to bleed out slowly. She wanted a quick death for her and her boy. She begged him to kill them. Mickey thought about it as he took another puff of his cigarette.
In the end he did it, but he was still thinking about it when he noticed the door swing open to the clubhouse. Chandra must've seen him slip out and decided to follow. Mickey quickly wiped his eye and put on a smile. He didn't want her to know he had been upset.
Mickey: Hey babe.
He said leaning over and opening the passenger door for her.
Mickey: What's up?
