Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
-Eddie was friends with Johnny since high school. They always talked about their love of cars together. Johnny was actually one of the few friends Eddie had. To be honest Eddie was kind of a shy kid growing up. He didn't get into much trouble, he mostly kept to himself. Until he met Johnny. Johnny was 180 degrees in the opposite direction, yet they got along like they were just alike.
When Johnny joined the club they were just a couple of kids, 19 and 20. They found family in the club. Eddie's parents were adopted parents and they were good people, but he knew that he wasn't theirs. Some part of him, a small part always resented them for that. They wouldn't tell him who his birth mother was. They said that she gave him up and they were the only parents he needed.
Eddie found his place in the club rather quickly and started acting out as a rebellious youth, he threw himself fully into the club's more illegal activities. It started with stealing cars and selling drugs on whatever corner would have him as a guest. It escalated to promoting fights and taking bets, street racing and all sorts of other things that could get him arrested. Still Eddie felt more at home with the Fools then he ever did with Tristian and Martha
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
-Outbreak day came and went for Eddie without so much as a hint that anything was wrong. It wasn't until later on the next day that he realized something terrible had shook the very foundation of the world. The night before outbreak day Eddie was out drinking, hard. Eddie stumbled into his bed at his apartment at something around 5:30 in the morning. He didn't even bother to lock the door he was so plastered.
When he woke up the next afternoon about 4pm he was terribly hung over. Eddie got up and took a leak and cooked something for lunch. His phone was blowing up and it was his parents. They had retired and bought a home in Florida. He was sure that they just wanted to talk his ear off. Eddie had a head ache. He picked up his phone and hit ignore before dropping it carelessly back on the coffee table. A few moments later it rang again. Eddie groaned and turned the phone off completely.
He ate some lunch and popped a few pills before slowly slipping away into a high. He could feel his head ache finally subsiding and he crawled back into bed. He had club business to handle, but someone else could cover it. He'd have to text Johnny when he finally got up. Eddie slept threw the apocalypse, hung over and riding a high. He had no clue that anything was wrong at all.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
- The apocalypse has hit the world hard. Things aren't what they used to be. Eddie found himself trying to make it to Florida after he realized what was going on. He didn't leave any word to his club, there was no time to notify anyone. He had to get to Florida to find out if they were ok. He didn't get very far until he realized that he couldn't make it safely into Florida.
Eddie lingered around a few of the southern states for awhile. He fell in and out of a few groups, but he never really felt like he belonged anywhere. Eddie out-survived a few groups. He was the last man standing when the dust settled. He didn't really mind. They were just people, not really anything that he worried about. Eddie tried his best not to form connections with people. He just didn't bother because they could be gone at any moment.
Still, he found himself missing his old life. His club. His club family. He started to head back to Detroit after almost four years of staying adrift. He was just basically a wandering nomad at this point. He didn't have a roof over his head to call his. He didn't have any friends watching his back. He just had his wits and he was tired. He was so very tired of scraping by. Even if he found the club empty it would be good to be in familiar surroundings. Eddie made his way back into Detroit. He just arrived two days ago.... This is where his story picks up.
