Months had passed since the news that the queen had been missing and William led his own separate searches to find her from the king. The only things they had turned up was a ripped pink blanket which led him to believe that Fable had been killed or was just gone without a trace. It was a cruel blow but William let the matter rest and fell into his role Leading this village. Even though there was a distance from the people that he was now keeping at arms link. He had let himself get attached to the queen and he lost her twice. that was enough to make him close off his emotions to everyone.
Anna was the woman that he had been forced to marry and there was a degree of closeness with her. He would never force her into anything because she had lost the man she cared for as well. Her burden was worse because now she had to see him with his new Wife on a monthly basis. This evening was no different William was overseeing the loading of supplies they were taking to The King that belong to him. Land and title came at a price but William didn't go along for just this. There were so much more people to feed in Cedric's kingdom over winter and They needed the extra rations.
Will, may have been a shut-off man but he was cruel and wouldn't take his problems on the innocent. A sigh escaped his lips as he moved down the halls of his home and he found Anna's room. Knocking on the door to announce his presence before pushing the door open. His eyes moved over the very beautiful woman in the new dress he had bought for her. "You look amazing my wife." He spoke softly as he moved closer and knelt in front of her producing a pink flower he had picked for her. "It's time we headed out to the Kings keep. Are you ready my Lady?"
William's face was soft and a smile was on his lips as he rose and tucked the stem of the flower into her hair above the flower. He had come to be comfortable in his village away From the king but he was always on edge heading back to that place. He felt as if that man was setting a trap for him each time but nothing ever happened. Taking Anna's hand he grinned and brought her through the house. The next gift he had gotten her waited outside in the form of a large white stallion. He found the Animal for sale out of the Kings stock and after a few payments it was finally brought home.
Leading Anna outside he moved over to the Large white horse to help her up. "Your ride awaits. He's your present because every Lady deserves a fine horse." He spoke softly while helping her on the animal the moving to pat his neck. "You can name him whatever you would like. Lets us head to the Keep now." Moving over the Painted quarter horse that had to become his companion. Once he was on the horses back he nudged it into movement and they were on the way.
