The ride was short. As they got out at the community, Ash realized there was a girl riding with them- apparently his tired senses deceived him, and he honestly didn't realize it. He felt like hitting himself in the head for not noticing her, and not noticing that she heard his plea to Mr. Bryan. Even with his eyes drooping, he could easily tell she was eyeing him. What was that? Annoyance? Ash felt guilty for not apparent reason. He understood what he believed may not be like others. Or maybe he just wasn't specific enough about saving the grateful before himself. He wasn't deserving of living this long. The community was a far cry from anywhere he'd lived/stayed before. He wasn't poor, but he also wasn't close to as rich as whoever used to live here. And it was also wonderfully quiet. He found himself about to ask where he could rest, but the girl's careful eyes kept his body alert. He felt uneasy, but he turned and smiled at her anyway as she caught some keys.
After weeks of not seeing another person Gavin Wolf stumbled upon this little community. It was just dripping ripe with oppurtunity. Gavin strolled right in the front gates. They were wide open and it seemed like some people had just arrived. Gavin could never claim to be clearly in his right mind. His ballsy plan was his own and he didn't care how many people there were he just had to grab one that looked important to the group. His eyes fell on a youngish looking kid. (Ashton) Perfect.
People got all sentimental over their kids. Surely this twerp belonged to someone. Gavin wasn't really noticed. There was so much going on with the new arrivals, that by time anyone noticed that something was happening it was too late. Gavin Grabbed Ashton from behind. His arm wrapped around the poor kid's neck in a choke hold. Gavin pulled him away from his group and stuck a gun to his head.
Gavin Wolf: Listen up! This is how this is going to go down. You guys are going to fill a vehicle with supplies and toss the keys over here. Then me and jr. are going to take a little ride. If you don't want to see his brains splattered all over the dirt i suggest that you do as i ask.
Gavin licked his lips. He rather wished they wouldn't comply. It had been some time since he spilled a little blood. An artist without red paint wasn't much of an artist. Gavin watched as everyone stopped and looked at him. He delighted in the horrified shocked faces he saw all around him in the crowd. It was really up to them now. He just needed some supplies to get on his feet here in Ohio. Once he was set up he could always come back and hit this place up for more people to snatch. Then his art could really shine.
Gavin stood there waiting for someone to start moving. Everyone was just frozen in their tracks. To get his point across Gavin shot a few rounds in the air to show them the gun was loaded and he wasn't fucking around.

The trip from San Diego to the east coast was a long and arduous one. Talon wasn't thrilled about the way his little base of sorts had fallen apart. Mostly he was pissed that he had to start over from scratch. At least he wasn't alone. Having some company was always preferred. Talon bitched when the car ran out of gas on the side of the road. "Fuck!" He moaned. Talon's one eye moved over to Sophia. She was as crazy as he was, but that's something he liked about her. They weren't official, at least not to Talon's knowledge. They had just kind of fell into together again after one beautiful chance in counter that left his toes curling and his nutsack drained. She was fun. She wasn't boring and that was the important part for Talon.
Stepping out of the car Talon grabbed his shit from the backseat and decided to walk. They were bound to find some place soon. "Get your shit we're walking." He said abruptly. He wasn't sure where he was headed, but he wasn't bothering with the car anymore. They could find another one down the road somewhere. Talon walked in silence. His mind was off on this or that and he wasn't paying much attention.
He wasn't, until he heard voices up ahead and the sound of gun fire. Looking up Talon realized there was community of people in front of him. Sophia must've been distracted to because she hadn't chirped in to inform him about the strangers up ahead. Talon's eye moved over the scene with curiosity. The one guy seemed to have a kid hostage and was shooting a gun off. It seemed to be just the one guy though. Why the fuck haven't they taken this guy out already? Talon wondered. They must be a bunch of softies. Someone in need of a new leader. A smirk appeared on his face as he kept moving forward.
The guy named Gavin didn't realize that there was someone behind him. He didn't realize that someone had the drop on him. Talon didn't need to get the drop on someone to take them out. In fact, he preferred to do it face to face. Talon walked into the community. Right into the open gates the same way Gavin did. Talon pulled out a pistol and from a few feet away he aimed it right at the back of the guy's head. The smile grew wider on his face as he pulled the trigger.
Gavin's head lurched forward as the bullet entered the back of his skull. Gavin's blood sprayed across the face of Ashton as his body slumped to the floor. Talon walked towards the people he just saved. His gun was still tightly held in his steady hand. There was a crunching sound of his boots on the rocky soil as he walked through the silence. This guy was dead as fuck. These people owed him now. Talon walked up to Gavin's body and looked down on it for a moment before his one single eye moved up to the new group of survivors. "Hope this asshole wasn't a friend of yours." He smirked sarcastically.
Tiffany was spending time catching up with her long lost friend and showing her to her room. That seemed short lived when gunshots rang out and she was out the door rather quickly with a large pipe wrench in her hands. There was one of her group members with a gun to the new kids head. He was demanding a vehicle and supplies in exchange for the kid's life. "Fuck." She muttered as she slowly approached but before there was any chance to talk. Another gunshot rang out and the was blood splattered on the new kids face as his captor slouched to the ground.
Her attention shifted to the newcomer who had one eye. 'Interesting.' Tiffany thought as a smirk tugged at her lips. "Why the fuck was the front gates not secure?" She spoke into the radio she pulled from her hip. "Why don't we just open both gates and offer a free buffet." Her tone was rather annoyed as she stepped towards the dead body on the ground. "Nah, he was just some guy who showed up. Personally, he gave me the creeps, because I swore he was always watching me. Welcome to my group. Seems that im in your debt So please personally let me know what I can do for you." Tiffany spoke and her gaze was specifically on Talon as a smirk played on her lips and a wink was given to him.
He was pretty good looking for a guy with one eye and her gaze went to a rather pale looking woman standing off the side behind him. Maybe she was his girlfriend or cousin? Tiffany didn't really care as she looked at her friends who had appeared out of their home. "Hey, Saf. Show new kid here where he can call home. I'm sure he wants a shower to wash off that blood. Also, show Mr. Bryan and his guest to their house so everyone can get settled." A single glance was offered to her pink-haired friend before they moved back to the handsome rugged look guy before her.
"Follow me and I can show you and your girlfriend to a place to rest." It was a general assumption of the two new people since they did show up together. Though it wouldn't really stop Tiffany from hitting on they guy. Still, she walked down the street and moved to the door of one of the two bedroom houses. She didn't really know the nature of their relationship so two bedrooms were the way to go. "I'm sure you will find this house to be comfortable. Its got two bedrooms and there working power and water so I'm sure you could use a shower and rest. I'ma head back but let me know if ya need something hunny." She spoke as she put a hand on Talons shoulder and wink at him before handing off the keys.

Where did the shock come from? The arms suddenly around his neck, the yelling, the fact he may die, but...most of all, how this asshole got by a guarded gate and walked right up to him without his new companions noticing. He had been in situations. He didn't struggle. Barely moved a muscle. But maybe because he was purely in shock. After the blood hit his face and his captor dropped, he instinctively turned and raised his bull barrel revolver and the new person. A man with an eyepatch and a gun- thankfully, he hit the guy (now dead, duh) instead of him. After realizing what he was doing, he lowered it quickly. "Sorry," he said, still slightly shocked. "Thank you. I don't know who you are, but I owe you my life." He knew four years ago he would be on the floor crying. But somehow, he'd gotten tough, without changing his kindness. But the guy calling him "twerp", everyone calling him "kid". Ash didn't know why, but it fucking pissed him off. His burst of emotion died down as Tiffany told the pink-haired girl to show him a home. He smeared the blood away from his eyes. He didn't know why he wasn't even scared anymore. He didn't feel like he was grateful enough to Talon. Ash gave him a small bow, and, "thank you again, sir." He then followed the pink-haired girl.
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
