Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
A normal childhood wasn't exactly something that her parents gave her. When Saf was born her mother didn't go to a hospital. There were no doctors called in and her parents wanted it that way. The colony where her parents lived it was basically stuck in the days of the hippies. Their healers were holistic and most of the communities income came from arts and crafts being sold or the sale of Marijuana as well as shrooms on the side.
Her early Childhood was spent running wild and free through meadows of flowers. It wasn't until she had wandered too far at around 8 years old that she got lost in the nearest city. The police brought her and soon she was taken in by social services. Due to her lack of schooling and being seen by a doctor her commune was put un investigation. Eventually, the Children she had been raised around were also brought in. Her parents as the leaders fought the system and won under the conditions they get the children seen by doctors and into school.
From here on out Saf found herself thrust into a school world and modern technology. Over the years she became used to it and started to thrive in school. By her Graduation, she had decided to go off to college with her friends much to her parent's dismay.

What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
This was the middle of Saf's second year at college. Since her time there the close-knit group of her friends had split up and they all meshed into their own particular Cliques. Saf had grown accustomed to her new found artist/ stoner type friends. Sitting out in the courtyard with them she could overhear talking of sorority sisters behind them. "Can you believe she goes in public like that? God awful. Punk Princess what a joke." The girl spoke and Saf looked to see one of her previous friends laughing along with them.
"Saf we could always sneak into the Cappa house and dye all their hair purple." Steve spoke to her and a laugh escaped her lips. "I think they would hear the screams on the Moon," Saf spoke before looking down at her cellphone for the time. "Gotta go, guys, Moderately price bagels won't bake themselves." With a roll of her eyes and smirk, she made it to her feet.
Leaving the group she made it to work and noticed several police cars passing. A customer flipped on the news and the story played on about crazed homeless guys attacking people on the streets. "That's one way to take a bite outta life." She muttered to herself and received a disgusted scoff from an old lady who was leaving. "Come back to see us!" Her tone was faked friendliness drenched in sarcasm.
After she closed up the shop later that night she headed to make the nightly deposit in the backs drop box. Cutting down the Alley she had taken every night things seemed to be a normal night. Towards the end, she could see a figure stumbling around. Pulling out the back of bagels she carried she approached the man. "Sorry Mr. Bill, we only have plain tonight." She spoke but much to her surprise the man turned around and blood gurgled from his mouth with a growl of sorts.
His neck was bloody and looked like ground beef she had cooked the night prior. Stumbling back she quickly left the Alley and took the longer road. In her mind, she just assumed her lack of sleep from her exam cram session was getting to her. From there she went home and settled in for a long nights sleep.

Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
The next morning after her bizarre experience she woke to a bang on her door. Groggily she looked at the clocked to see it was almost noon. Sliding out of bed to the tune of more frantic pounding a frown curved her lips. Unlocking the door she swung it open to see the last people she would expect. "Tiffany....Megan... What the.." she spoke and from there she sat and heard the horror stories of people in school getting their throats ripped out on the quad.
From that point, the girls gathered as much as they could for belonging and supplies and decided to go tray and track their loved ones. The road has been treacherous but they keep moving. Mostly keeping to themselves the group has formed a tight-knit connection. Now the saf and the girls are just desperately searching for a new place to call home. Surving day to day the best they can.
