"Sounds like a plan," Sarah replied, whistling to get everyone's attention. "Alright, everyone that came here initially, we're heading back to Belle Isle. Hannah," whistling to get the medic's attention, "I'm chopping you over to Damen's command; grab your gear and keep everyone healthy here. Everyone else, we'll leave in an hour." After a few moments, she looked right at Damen and asked, "Any word on Chris yet?"
The naval Commander was reaching into his Bullet proof vest but stopped when Sarah whistled out loud. He tilted his head a bit and shook it a once. Taking his one index finger, he rubbed his ears to try and get the ringing to stop in his head. Once it was done, he reached into his vest and pulled out the pack of smokes he carried around himself. Reaching into his pants pocket, he pulled out his Navy Zippo and lit himself one of the Cigarettes. Blowing out the stream of smoke, he closed the zippo and put everything away as Sarah was making her orders towards everyone. Taking in a deep drag from the cigarette, he was addressed about Chris, the woman who was injured. Sighing slightly, Damen looked at her and said. "Well, last I saw she was in Surgery and is still alive. Kate, she's a mess right now. Other then that Ms. Sharpe, I have no clue." Turning his head to look at his small group of people he had brought with him, he saw they were getting all the building materials ready and was sorting them all out onto the ground. "Well Ladies, I'll be moving out and lending them a hand. I'll see you all on the flip side." Tipping his Water Digital Camo. hat at them, he moved towards his group.
Heading straight towards the trailer, he saw that most of the equipment was already out of the trailer. They were moving with a great purpose in their step and it caused him to smile. Grabbing a couple of buckets that held tools and carried them towards where the rest of the things were being placed on the ground. Looking around, he saw it was a calm day. Looking over towards three soldiers that he was given, he pointed at them and then at the Control tower where they were going to be perched at to give high cover fire. They grabbed there things and ran for the building and dug in like ticks. Half of the team he had began to carry big pieces of wood and steel towards the different corners of the Airport to make up the makeshift structures that they were going to be using as barricades/ guard shacks. With a small band of people left, he called them all over towards him.
"Ok people, since I'm not good with tools in making things and I'm pretty sure you men and women are the same as me. So grab your weapons, we are splitting up into three teams and are going to patrol around the area to keep our builders safe. Let's get things ready and swing them guns around...we have a Bismark to sink as my Daddy use to say." Clapping his hands a couple of times, he began to split everyone into teams of three and where each one will be patrolling. His team was actually going to be patrolling around the main terminal building and even inside to see if it needed to be cleared out.
