Standing in Sarah's office, Elise waited until she was certain that Sarah couldn't hear them, then turned on a heel and embraced Natasha as they stood their. Embracing her girlfriend, they kissed intensely, their lips and tongues clashing against the others'...leaning back, Elise said rather breathlessly, "We haven't done that in a long time, girl," to which Natasha said, "We could always do it on the boss's bed while she's gone," just as both of their radios went off.
Walking away for a second, Elise switched on her radio and whispered to Natasha, "You are bad, Nats, did you know that?" Keying the mic on her radio, she asked, "This is Elise, go ahead."
"Elise, this is Beardie down in the Radio Room," said Belle Isle's radio boss, "we just got flash traffic from the airport. Someone's been shot." A look of concern about her, Elise - and Natasha, who had her radio on and was listening - asked, "What happened?"
"I don't know yet," Beardie replied, "but someone needs to tell Kate..."
"Tell Kate what?" Natasha asked over her own radio; Elise added, "What happened out there, Beardie?"
"Tell Kate Chris has been shot," he replied; without waiting, Elise ran out of the office and turned towards the warren of bedrooms where Sarah was at; stepping inside, she noticed that Sarah looked as though she was crying - over what, she didn't know - and thought as she walked over and knelt down nearby, We might all be crying today. "Listen, Sarah," Elise taking, trying to not only ease any fears Sarah had but also her own, "I've got to go back to work; we've got a bit of emergency and I've got to put that tour on hold for the moment. Listen, I want you to wait in Ms. Sharpe's office with Natasha, okay? That way, I'll know you'll safe, alright?" She knew she was parsing words there, but at the moment, she really didn't know what to say....
