Weeks had past and it was starting to snow around Mary as she had been on the road walking ever since she woke up to a fresh new start on life. She didn't keep track on where she was in Revelations of States she had passed through so far. While walking, she soon was surrounded by the sheer beauty of the forest she had stumble across. Birds were chirping all around, Squirrels were running through the tree tops and across branches. Then came the distant howls of the wolves which caused her to stop in her tracks. A group of them further towards the west, and a couple towards the south responded to the calls. Fear crept through her like a hand sliding into a glove. Looking around, she needed to find shelter to be able to hide from the wolves. Her eyes saw a dirt path to her right. So logic would have it that someone had made this as some sort of nature walk trail. And if there was a trail like this, then there should be a camping area of some sorts near by. With fear and adrenaline pumping through her, she jumped onto the dirt trail and ran as fast as she could possibly go with all the stuff she was carrying. Small branches smacked her across her body leaving it's painful sting all over her, she didn't want to hinder her progress for her life. A clearing began to appear a head of her and she could make out what looked to be a log cabin. Sprinting harder then before, she broke free into the clearing and saw that she was partially right. There was not just one, but at least six Cabins. Amazed that this was here before her, but she didn't have time since the Howling was now getting closer. Running over to the closest cabin, she hurried herself inside it and shut the door behind her. Her breath was coming in and out at a quick pace. Her back against the door as she heard the wolves growling and howling, now in the clearing area.
Now her breath was stuck in her throat as she stood there now frozen. She had no idea what she was going to do or how she was going to get out of this. Slowly backing away from the door, she could hear the wolves outside sniffing the ground. They were tracking her. Looking for they're next meal. Looking around, she saw a ladder made from logs going up into a small crawl space that could have been used for extra storage space. Rushing over to it, she climbed up as fast as she could. When she was half way up it, two of the windows smashed open. Looking over towards them, she saw two wolves baring they're teeth at her. If they ran at her now and jumped, they could get her leg. But she hurried on up them and was now laying on the flooring of the small area she climbed into. There was a few boxes that said on them "Office supplies, Extra First Aid Kits, Extra Towels-Rags-Shower curtains." Mary looked down and saw the wolves walking back and forth looking up at her with they're teeth bared still, angry they were. But she was able to hold onto her life for a little while longer. Sliding her back pack off of her shoulders and laying it on the floor, she also would lay next to it her Walking staff and her bow with the quiver. 'I could shoot them with the Bow and arrow, but I don't know how many of them are outside of the Cabin. I'm stuck....damnit...so stupid of me...' Mary thought to herself as she slid herself into the back of the space and had her back against the wall, curled into a tight ball.
