Nora walked with Addy and Charles up to the apartment that she would share with her sister and another girl. To say she was in shock was an understatement because she had now found out that Charles was her half brother. She was rather quiet as the whole Bryan family piled into the living room of the three-bedroom apartment. As soon as she got a chance she grabbed his arm and drug him into the room she now claimed as hers. Shutting the door she looked around the modern decor of the apartment and thought how nice it would've been before the epic happened.
"So um you're my brother." She said breaking the Ice nervously before her gaze fell back on him. A sigh escaped her lips and she sat down on the bed and thought about how she now felt so horribly wrong after those many nights spent with him. "I think it's best if we just don't tell Addy and Dad about the nature of our past." she spoke again her gaze on the man that she once had a thing for. Now she kinda just wanted to fall into a crack to avoid the embarrassment. "Nora come say by to Dad he's going to his apartment." Addy hollered through the door and she rose from her seated position on the bed.
"So bro. We got a deal? No one finds out about our rather embarrassing past." She spoke with a smile before she hugged him and headed out to say goodbye to their dad. Once he was gone She said bye to Charles then plopped down on the couch of the spacious three bedrooms. "Well this place isn't as nice as the castle we were staying in but it sure is a good second option." Nora's gaze moved from her little sister to the blonde that had been picked up. "I'm Nora. Not sure I got your name."
Tracy dropped her stuff on the couch. It seemed this was going to be her new home. She shrugged. It didn't make much difference to her where she stayed as long as the front door had a lock and there were was somewhere to sleep. Tracy smiled lightly at the other two girls in the room who for the moment seemed to be busy. Sisters she thought she heard someone say. No doubt they'll want to catch up. In the years before the outbreak, Tracy had found herself a shut in. She didn't mean for it to happen, but she was a telemarketer, she worked from home. She didn't have to go out much because she worked so many hours she ended up doing most of her shopping from home online. Her people skills on the phone were great.... In person not so much, she was awkward around people. She wasn't used to it.
Nora: I'm Nora. Not sure I got your name.
Tracy: I'm ..... Tracy. Sorry, it's been awhile since I was around people ya know? The guy I road over with wasn't exactly Mr. Chatty.
Tracy blushed lightly feeling stupid that she was actually being "shy". Who was shy now days? Modesty wasn't that really stood out to her as a survivable trait. Tracy looked over at Addison. Her eyes seemed to be watering a bit. (From the flash shield) But Tracy took it as tears of joy from finding her sister. She wished she had someone she loved that much and that deeply. She had spent a lot of time alone before the outbreak and it was lonely. She wanted someone to share her day with, or to care if she got ripped apart. She didn't have that, she can't remember if she had ever had that now, honestly. Tracy just wanted someone to care about what happened to her. But she hid all her insecure neurotic thinking behind a beaming smile and stuck out her hand for Nora to shake.
Tracy: Guess we're roomies.... So this place got power?
She asked realizing that she had forgotten to even check the light switch. Mostly places didn't have it so she just assumed this one didn't either and hadn't checked.
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
