Dana found her way back to Bell Isle. She couldn't be a part of the scouts anymore. Couldn't find it in herself to stay there when Hannah and Jenna were there so she took off. She head out for the coast and tried to get as far away as possible as if the more distance she was able to put between them the less it would hurt. That wasn't true. The miles did nothing to ease away the suffering that she felt. Eventually she had found herself in South Carolina with Quinn West. A woman who also was bailing on the group, but then Dana woke up to find Quinn gone, not even a note. She hung around a few days after that to see if she came back but she didn't. She was alone. Completely and utterly alone. Dana didn't know what to do, or where to go. She just knew she didn't want to be alone anymore. Dana headed back to Michigan. She knew at least there were some friendly faces there. It took some time, but eventually she found herself standing on the bridge just outside the motor city. Dana's car had broke down a few miles back and limping her ass here was tough work, but she still had a pretty good grasp on the area.
Dana: Please don't all be dead.
She said quietly as she started to slowly limp across the bridge. Dana had a backpack on her shoulder and a light material tank top on. She was wearing a pair or jeans ripped at the knees and a pair of black boots. Her foot had long healed. Her ankle still had some pain though and she walked with a minor limp. Dana reached in her pocket and pulled out a bottle of Vicodin and popped the cap before taking two of them. She had stumbled across a camp somewhere back in pensylvania and held them up for some supplies. She took everything. Their food, their water, a bag full of pills that they had in case one of them got sick or injured. She felt like shit, but there were two of them and one of her. And she had a limp. They could much easier find more supplies than she could and she did what she had to because she hadn't eaten in days. Dana wasn't a bad person, but she didn't feel like a good person as she reflected on the choices she had made as she made her way across the bridge.
Dana: Well.. Moment of truth.
Dana said to herself as she made her way into Beil Isle.
