Coming to Kennan was a risk. Tanner wasn't sure why he was taking it but he needed something. He had been going and going for too long now and he needed some kind of a break. He figured that he could at least get some shelter in the locker rooms from the storm that was about to hit. Normally he would be out in the wild hunkering down in a cave but the cut on his leg required some medical supplies and so he had been forced to come into town. He had managed to find the medicine that he needed, he only hoped that it was not too long expired to have any effect. Thing about antibiotics that plagued them now is that though they lasted a long time they were by no means eternal. It seemed that only the walkers were given the right to be eternal.
It was while he was getting some supplies for his trip back into the wild that the winds started kicking up. He could tell that it would be a serious one. The way the wind was coming told him that he wouldn't be able to safely make it to his shelter before it hit and that being outside in this storm would be worse then anything he had faced since the start of the apocalypse. He remembered to keep his eyes peeled. Being in a city was risky. So many had died here that even though the herds had moved on there were more around then he felt comfortable with.
He got into the stadium and started carefully moving towards the safety of the locker room.
Reggie pulled his truck up outside the stadium. The storm was coming down harder and he shivered as he pulled his jacket closer. He hated the cold, it was never for him. The rain was almost to hard to drive in. His whispers couldn't keep up and it was coming down in buckets now. The stadium should provide cover for now.
That was unless the dead showed up. It could be overrun too. Maybe there was a game outbreak day, and flooded the stands. He had a rifle, ammo, and could make it. That he was confident of. Making his way inside he closed the doors and shook the rain out of his hair. He slicked it back and made sure his gun was loaded with the safety off.
Stepping into the hallway he flipped on the light of gun. Shining it down the dark corridors he made his way toward the confessions stands. He was looking for food, maybe gear. He needed to grab whatever he could carry and head back as soon as the storm let up. People were waiting for him, back at the camp.
Moving along the hallway he stopped at the entrance to the locker room. It was doubtful he'd find anything, but it was worth a shot. Pushing open the doors he went in, shining his ligh amoungst the lockers. "Come out you little shits, come the fuck out," he called, trying to lure the deadmen his way.

Moving along slowly Tanner is so zoned in knocking on the walls occasionally with his knife that he doesn't initially hear the doors open when the new person enters. He keeps moving slowly along, not seeing any walkers for a bit but not getting far because of his injury.
All of that is put to a stop when he hears the man speak. Oh screw me, he thinks. Of course someone else was trying to find shelter in this damn stadium. He moves to try and find a hiding place but before he can he hears the distint sound of shuffling feet and griwling that always marks the deads arrival. Screw me twice, he thunks as he turns. He's almost too late as one walker is right on top of him. He lashes out with his knife, taking the walker in the temple and quickly withdrawing his blade. Five more are fast on his heels though and he has no choice but to ask for help from the stranger.
"A little help back here. I've got at least five of them."
Reggie looked around, shining the light on his gun. He could hear a thunkin sound, one of them must be trapped. He moved forward he boots hitting the damp ground of the locker room. He was familiar with a design like this, the lockers and benches bring back memories he had long ago. Back before he even enlisted.
Hearing someone call out Reggie rushed forward. He raised his gun and fired at the dead. He took a few down and let the knife wielding many take on the rest. If they got to close or made any move to bite him he would fire. He trusted he was a good enough shot to take on the remaining. Dead if he had too.
Seeing one more come out of where ever the deadmen were hiding he fired. The shot tore through the dead'S head and rang out amounsgt the steel lockers. He smiled as he lowered the gun, looks at the man. "You alright there bud?" He smiled and looked th man over. "Fucking hell of a storm out there isn't there. Could barely see past my nose on the highway. Hit a deadmen so hard to nearly shattered the bumper."
Reggies stepped back. "You friendly? Or are we going to have a problem. Have to tell you, I ain't alone, and you do anyhing. My boys will come running and gun you down faster than you can say fastball. Just a warning." It was a lie, but he doubt the man would call his bluff. Reggie just smiled again.

Tanner looked the guy over once he had finished off the last of the walkers. Looking specifically for any sign that the guy wanted to do him harm. When he didn't see any immediate signs of hostile intent he loosened up a little. The guy certainly seemed like someone who could handle himself but then anyone who had survived in this world had to be able to.
"I'm good."
He held out his arms, showing that though one of the walkers had gotten close he hadn't managed to bite him. He knew that in the reverse situation he would want the person that he had just met to do the same.
"Yeah that storm is something. Haven't seen anything like it for years. As far as being friendly, well I have no intention on doing you any harm. I'm just trying to get out of the weather and there weren't all that many options to do so in this town. Luckily the hordes moved out a while ago."
"Well alright then. No harm is good enough for me. I don't need a best friend, just not looking for a knife in the back while I wait out the rain," Reggie said checking his gun. He pulled out another clip from his vest and swapped it for the one currently in his gun. The other one wasn't empty, but this one was full.
"Yeah, crazy storm. Raining buckets of cats and dogs out there. Gotta wait for it to pass before I can do anything. Hate waiting, but what can you do." Reggie shook, his head and leaned against a locker. "How much of this place did you clear out? Don't expect much supplies, but worth a shot right. Maybe some football gear, pads a shit. Bet that would have been handy for you."
He looked around, the dead on the floor near them. "Well as much as I want to hang out in a damp locker room I need to actually check for supplies. Care to join me, seemed to handle yourself pretty well. We can clear the rest of this placement out and take a look around. Maybe someone else got stuck here and we all join up."
Reggie moved out of the locker room back out to the hall. Coming across a vending machine he put the stuck of his gun through the glass and reach inside grabbing the water bottles and Gatorade. He offered some to Tanner before adding the rest to his bag. "So you got a name friend? I'm Porsche, like the car."
He looked down the hall, a few doors in front of them, some stairs leading up the the stands. "Man, used to love come to places like these. Grab a hotdog and some sodas, watch the game all day."
