Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
Wendy was a foster child. Bouncing from home to home she grew up with tough skin and very little to call her own. In her last foster home, the one she'd managed to stay in for 2 year (a record), she'd made a really good friend who she could confide in when she needed to and vice versa.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
Wendy and her best friend were leaving the school when their town became over run. People were running around screaming, parents trying to get to their kids before a walker got to them. The two girls realized they were in danger and quickly ran towards the police station like they'd been told to do all their lives. On the steps into the station there were many bodies, people who'd run to the cops for protection and cops who'd ran out of bullets. In their attempts to run away her best friend was grabbed by a walker, Wendy tried to free her but it was too late, she'd been bitten. Wendy kept trying to pull her away but was interrupted by a big tough man, he pulled Wendy away and threw her into the back of his 4-door pick up truck. When she screamed for her friend the man told her that it was too late for her friend.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
Wendy found herself in many different groups. Often times she'd get separated when things went south and never found the group again. On one occasion she was purposefully left behind while she slept. She'd learned how to hold her own in order to survive. She's often by herself but not for long, she finds people quickly so she's not alone. Even temporary company is better than none at all.
