A while ago, David had used the Radio and gave out a message that he was going out on a run for some more clothing and maybe even go out for a run for some other things to pick up such as Shampoo, soap, food, smokes, ect. If anyone wanted to tag along, to meet him at his Silver Chevy Suburban. He sat in the driver seat, relaxing on the black leather seat. It felt nice just to veg a bit as he was ready to leave. Turning on the engine, he then turned on the CD player as well. The first song that came on was Pass the Axe by the Dark Lotus. Nodding his head to the beat, he was enjoying the music as he waited for everyone or even anyone to show up since he thought Clothing and other supplies were needed for the group. Shrugging to himself, he just leaned the seat back and closed his eyes for a moment until someone would jump in the vehicle. Once someone does, he would open his eyes and set the seat back to where it was as he would then ask them . "What gear are you looking for out on this run? We will need to stay together and no one leaves each other side, so no Clothes testing."

After a couple minutes, the door to the Suburban on the passenger side opened, and new weight was pressed onto the passenger seat. Elza had climbed in, taking the man on his offer for a clothing and possible supply run, smiling lightly to him before waving with a gloved hand at him. "Cheers, love. I'm Elza Oxton, and I'm taking you up on your offer, if that's okay?", she let out to him while she graced him with her blue eyes. She noticed off-hand just how burly and muscular he was, not that it was a bad thing, in fact it seemed a common trait nowadays. She thought about this for a second, thinking back in recollection towards the numerous soldiery men and women from the New York group she had a ride with, many of the men having various levels of musculature but Tegan was no slouch in that regard, either, from what she saw. But this man, he took the cake so far for her. Already, she was feeling a rush of relief and a creeping anxiety, as if she thought he would try to take advantage of her, but vanquished that thought out of her mind.
If she was going to make friends, she needed to give the benefit of the doubt. With that, she awaited the man's reply.

With his eyes opening up at the sound of the door opening, he looked over and saw a cute blonde jumping into the passenger seat. He saw that her motorcycle racing suit was damaged. She introduced herself as Elza Oxton. Reaching a hand over to her, he would introduce himself to her now. "I'm Former NYPD Detective David Forest, Tegan's Scout Team 6's vice leader. My Scout leader Hannah is injured at the moment, so I'm in charge of the team until she is back on her feet. Nice meeting you Ms. Oxton. By the looks of your suit, you do need some new clothing. I doubt anyone else is joining us, so...lets giddy on up and hit the stores." Putting the SUV into drive, he would drive the Chevy down the road towards the bridge and turned onto it. Driving carefully, he had his M-16 behind his seat as he had his window down and his arm resting on the door. Turning left at the end of the bridge, he was driving to a part they haven't been to yet. So David and her were going to scout out a new section for the group, especially if there could be any supplies.
As they drove, there was silence. Pursing his lips a bit, he would then kill the silence as they looked for clothing stores. "So Ms. Oxton, what did you do before the end of the world and Zombies coming out of the ground? You already know what I was." Reaching down, he pulled out his badge from under his shirt and let it rest on his chest now so it was now out in the open. Pulling onto a street, he saw a small strip mall that was empty of cars and no walkers in sight. It was a good sight to see. Pulling up into the parking lot. He killed the engine and looked at the darkened buildings. Reaching back, he grabbed his M-16 assault rifle with the 12 gauge Shotgun under barrel to it from behind him. Holding it, he opened his door and stepped out and shut the door behind him. Slowly walking across the parking lot, he went to a small clothing store and looked inside, it was dark, but some light was coming in from the windows. He couldn't see anything out of the normal. Trying the doors, they were locked. Thinking for a moment, he backed up and aimed the rifle at the main window. Finger on the other trigger, he pulled it.
The shotgun went off and made the window to shatter into many pieces as they all fell down. Stepping in and sliding the pump down ejecting the spent shell casing and feeding a fresh shell into the breach. Sliding it back up, it was ready. Scanning the inside of the store, he waved a hand for Elza to come. Walking further into the store, he stayed on high alert. He didn't want anything to sneak up on them. Going to the back of the store, he went into the manager's office and saw a very thin, dried up corpse with half of it's head missing from a double barrel shotgun that had no stock and the barrels were shorten. Picking it up, he opened the breach and two spent shells flew out. 'Empty.'

Elza barely had time to best describe what she had done prior to the zombocalypse when she felt the Suburban park and had time to look at David's badge, proof of his work as a policeman and detective...from New York, to boot. She watched the scene quietly, having the common sense to remain quiet when surveying an area, something she had learned on her own the hard away earlier in the 3-year spell of undead. Then she heard the driver-side door open, and watched as David got out. Lifting her Browning Hi-Power pistol up and clicking the safety off, she clicked the magazine latch on the side right after to eject the filled magazine into her left hand and looked it over. It was topped out, meaning full, so she tugged on the slide of her gun just slightly enough that a bullet wouldn't eject before inserting the magazine and saw a bullet was still in it, she slowly shut the slide again and inserted the magazine in again before opening the door to step out herself. She only winced she heard the loud gun shot of David's shotgun and the subsequent breaking of glass, but shook it off quietly with a light groan.
She had the intention of answering David's question, but only after safety was ensured here as she kept her gun at the ready, but stayed a little ways away from David until she saw his gesture for her to come closer, which she did and stayed on the other side of the door, her gun aimed up with both hands cupped around the base. She had always been alone, so there was no one to teach her proper form, she at least had the details of holding a gun from on-the-run views of gun magazines and for discipline, practiced when she had time. Walking into the store, she stayed slightly behind and to David's right, just enough to see if he stops or if he was looking at something, and followed him to the manager's office. Knowing such a thing as what she saw next could happen to anyone, Elza was braced for the sudden wave of nausea that coursed through her, bringing her hand to her mouth when she saw a corpse with most of its head missing, that plus the putrid smell of decayed flesh. She quickly collected herself, trying her hardest to ignore the smell, and went over to the desk while David picked up the shotgun to examine in, taking the time to open the drawers and see what the man had in store, if anything.

Hearing her gag a bit, he grabbed the body and pulled it out of the office and took it out front. Patting the body down, he found a set of keys and a few shotgun shells. Taking them all and placing them into his pocket, he throw the dried up body down the side walk and saw it break into many pieces. 'A good pass and yet no one to catch it. A shame.' David thought to himself. Walking back into the shop, he fished out two of the shells and put them into the two barrels and closed it. The shotgun was ready and primed and ready to Rock n Roll. Setting it down next to the Register, he began to look at the clothing that hung on hangers and some that were folded up on shelves. Finding different sizes, he took his shirt off and began to try different shirts on. Some were to tight for him. They would be donated to anyone who wanted a now semi David Stretched shirt. It be good for Julie now since of her being a momma and all since his pecs stretched the fabric a bit. Now shirtless for the time being, he wiped his face with his old shirt and kept looking. "There's gotta be a Shirt that Fits me for damn sake. Shit..." He didn't understand why he couldn't just find a plain fabric shirt that was loose on him. That was until he found the PLUS sizes. His eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas. Going over to them, he slid on a black shirt and it Actually Fit him. Not to loose and not to tight, Perfect! Looking around, he saw a jacket that was near by the plus size jackets. It was a light leather riding jacket. Sliding his arms through it and letting it slide onto to him. He smiled like a Fat kid with cake. It felt great.
Grabbing duffel bags from the front of the store as a Closing sale, he began to stuff as much clothing as he could into them. But his eyes would look over to Elza and make sure she was ok. But he would look at her rear every now and then. What? He hasn't been so lucky in a Very Long time. Grabbing a few of the full bags, he labeled them by the sizes and by Genders as well. Taking them to the SUV, he opened the back passenger side door and tossed them inside. Walking back over, he leaned onto the counter and waited to see if Elza was going to say anything. He had a bag set on the ground that had his name on it. Filled with a bunch of the plus sized clothing that he knew now that would fit him. Feeling good about himself, he pulled out a pack of smokes and lit a cigarette while watching Elza. He was now on guard duty. He had loaded five bags into the Chevy.

Elza watched with gratitude as David took the corpse out of the room and possibly outside, she didn't know or care. With it gone, the smell was less musty but still present, but she could manage. Aggravated that the desk contained nothing but undesirables such as outdated papers and notes save for simple paper clips, which she took, she stood up and walked away from the desk. Because she was going through it, she was significantly behind David, whose back she saw as he tried on what looked to be large-size shirts, putting what he wanted in some duffel bags. Wait, were there any duffel bags for her, too? She lightly knocked herself on the head for such a stupid question when she saw a couple duffel bags at the front of the store, and went to grab the rest, which would be 3, and went around the hanger podiums to pick various clothings. Satisfied with her selection, she glanced back at David, and saw he was just outside, smoking a cigarette right next to the Chevy. She held up a finger to him as if to say 'one moment', before getting into a dressing room after making sure it was empty. The sound of a zipper would be heard to anyone nearby and the soft thud of lightly-weighted material hitting the floor. A few minutes of dressing, and out came Elza, her firesuit in the last of her 3 duffel bags, replaced by a pale and sandy loose T-shirt, a thin black biker's jacket with red flames on the sleeves and shoulders, and a pair of slightly baggy dark jeans with a pair of womens' biker boots, her hair still up in its usual ponytail. Smiling, she walked out of the store with her the duffel bags containing her extra clothes which ranged from underwear to extra shirts and pants and even some nightwear. Noticing that David was inside by the counter since she last saw him, she moved up in front of him set her bags on the counter beside him along with her hand. Her holster was still in her thigh, but also had a belt primed around her waist as well for extra utility.
"So, stranger. How do I look?", she asked him. She was feeling so good about herself that she tried to be a bit playful, but she hoped he didn't take it negatively, if at all while she leaned against the counter for support.

As he flicked the ash to the ground, he looked her over as she came out of the dressing room and smiled a bit as she looked more of a tough biker chick then with her in the racing fire suit. His eyes slowly looked her over as she carried her bags over to him and set them down next to his one bag. When she leaned onto the counter, he held up the pack to her and offered her a cigarette. If she was to take one, he would take out a lighter and lit her smoke for her. If not, he would simply put the pack back. Exhaling slowly, He leaned a bit from her and looked at her figure again. 'Damn she a hot one' He thought in his head as he then began to think as to what he could say to her. He heard her being playful, so he would bite and see where it will lead him. "Looking good girl. Hell, I'd have to say....you look damn gorgeous in them threads. A lot better then that racing suit. Surprised you didn't pass out from heat exhaustion. So tell me, you have a lover or are you single like myself?" Pushing himself off the counter, he turned around and faced her. Looking down at her, he had a rather Good look of her now.
He had his trade mark smile as she flicked the cigarette he had out the window. Placing his hands into his pockets, he began to get excited at a few thoughts and images that popped into his mind. It was a bad time for it WILL be noticeable to her. But he would play it off as if he didn't notice it yet. Lets see if she would bite the bait and let him fish her in or if she will just reject him. He was a Big one, he wasn't going to kid himself, but it sucked being a lonely soul this day and age with no one to call your own or even to get some tension off your chest and other areas as well.

Elza could see in David's eyes she looked rather attractive, and that helped raise her spirits on the matter, and even more so when she heard him telling her she looked better now than with her firesuit. Vanity wasn't in her, of course, she didn't get off on hearing praise or complimented for her good looks, but it was still nice to hear. She was hoping she didn't look too boyish in this outfit, in fact she loved baggy clothing, despite what she had been wearing for some time now. The offer of a cigarette was greeted with a gentle raise of her hand and shake of her head, and the question of her marital status by a light rush of heat to her cheeks that painted them pink, but she actually shrugged and reached up to brush some of her hair aside and off her shoulder before answering him, "Actually, no, I don't. I am and always have been single. Why do you ask?", she asked at the end with a curious glance up at the tall, muscular man before her.

Putting the pack back into his pocket, he would hear her response as to her being single. Nodding his head, he looked at her as he noted about her now blushing a bit from him asking about her being single or not. He was surprised she was single. "I'm surprised, I thought you'd have someone for how beautiful you are. I mean...damn girl. You got a body that can rock people out of a ring and have them asking for more. Why aren't you with someone? and as for why I asked, Just would like to know about the people I might work with and even possible bedding partners. Never know these days and age if our number is up. When we will close our eyes and never wake up again. Life is now even more short then any of us would like to admit, so I was wondering..." his dark skin began to show signs of red as he quickly reached down for the four duffel bags and quickly rushed out to the SUV with the shotgun from earlier inside his jacket liner. Tossing the bags in, he looked at the asphalt and wondered what the hell he was doing. Taking out the sawed off 12 gauge double barrel, he tossed that in too and then walked to the driver side door and sat down in his seat. Leaning his head back with a slow sigh, he looked down at his pants and saw how Excited he had become. Enough for it to start aching. 'What the fucking hell is wrong with you David? You never do this, why now?' He thought to himself as he sat there and heard the door to the passenger side open up and the weight shifted a bit in the Chevy.

Elza had a nagging suspicion about David's reaction to her answering him, and followed him back to the Chevy with her bags in one hand with one strapped across her torso at one shoulder, the other on her hip as she watched him with a raised eyebrow. He just simply wanted to know? A guy wouldn't ask such a thing unless they had interest in the person they were asking, perhaps she was single because a guy couldn't keep up with her love for racing or keeping tabs on her bike when she had it. Ah, her beautiful red 2013 Ducati Panigale 1199 S motorcycle. She missed polishing it or keeping its parts clean and healthy. Now it was probably burnt scrap metal back at New York. The thought caused her to sigh as she sat back in the passenger seat after opening the door, resting her hand on her forehead to caress her temples a bit, brushing some of her fringes up in doing so. Thankfully, she was so preoccupied that she didn't look over at David and saw how "excited" he was.

Letting out another sigh, he put the key into the ignition and turned the key. He saw that the sun was starting to set to the west. They had little time left and he didn't want to stay out in the dark driving. Since he didn't know the streets fully and they were in an area that they haven't explored as a group yet to mark the way to go to get back to Belle isle. Shaking his head a bit, he put the vehicle into drive and drove the two off. The two would need to honker down somewhere for the night and just head back in the morning. "Since we don't know this area and not knowing which way to go yet, we will be honkering down somewhere for the night and return to the rest in the morning." Driving a bit, they came across a motel that was down the street of the store they were at. Pulling the Silver Chevy SUV around back of the Motel. He slid it into Park and turned it off. Grabbing his M-16 and stepped out. Slinging the rifle over his shoulders, he pulled out his .357 magnum and turned on the tac light that sat under the barrel. Walking to the small stair case leading up to the second floor, he began to test the each door along the straight line.
He reached the last door and felt it was unlocked. Slowly turning the knob and pushing it open. He aimed his gun into the room and saw it had a queen size bed inside with blankets and pillows. The bathroom door was shut, but he could hear something in it. Walking over to it, he opened it and saw a female Walker fully rotten grabbing it by it's neck, he held it up off the floor as it tried to reach for him and wanted to take a bite out of him. Walking out of the room he looked over the railing and saw a dumpster down below that was empty. Tossing it into it, he aimed his gun and fired the heavy handgun round at it and watched as it's head exploded from it. Looking at the SUV, he flashed his light at her and stepped back inside. Sitting down on the edge of the bed, it felt nice to sit down on something this comfy. He could get use to something like this. His eyes looked up at the door and saw her walking into the room. "Looks like we are going to share the bed for tonight if you don't mind."

Elza lifted her head when she and David departed from the store, looking around quietly until she heard David say that they would have to honker down somewhere, and that would mean staying the night together. This colored her cheeks again, and she raised her hand to brush some of her hair back over her ear in a sort of embarrassed manner before lightly speaking. "We have to stay the night, huh? Alright. Anywhere in par--huh?", she stopped herself when she saw David drive the SUV around the back of a motel, conveniently down the road from the strip mall they were just at, and then looked at David. He really seemed to know what he was doing, and that was something she admired. She actually grinned a bit, and watched as he got out of the vehicle, again without her, to scout out a motel room or so. She had gotten out as well and actually got all of the duffel bags together, wanting to pull her own weight in the matter. There was a loud gunshot and a thud nearby, and she could only guess it must've been David, as she could hear the incessant wailing of a walker before being quieted by a gunshot. With that, she had just primed herself to getting the bags up with some effort before she saw David shine his light down on her.
With a light sigh of resolution, she climbed the steps and walked around towards the door she saw David enter, soon enough emerging inside as well and sat the bags, labeled or not, on the floor before plummeting belly-first onto the bed with a sigh of relaxation, landing nonchalantly with her pale shirt, long enough to hang below the waistband of her jeans, actually tugged up a bit from the momentum to expose a bit of her lower back, not that she cared with how at-home she seemed to feel right then.

David laid back and relaxed on the bed. Letting out a slight groan as he could feel his tense back crack and pop a bit. He was feeling divine right now. He was to busy relaxing to notice that some of Elza's shirt drifted up a bit to show her skin in the dark. Pushing himself back a bit, he felt his head rest upon the pillow. Now this, felt like a fucking heaven that he just died and went to. If heaven was filled with the dead and was trying to eat every angel there was. Turning off the light on his Revolver, he set it on the nightstand next to him. Sliding his rifle to the floor. Then he pulled his back up handgun and placed it next to the .357. Reaching down to his side, he set Daddy's Knee Splitter next to the rifle on the floor. He felt he was going to fall asleep soon. Reaching up, he opened a window that lead to the two story drop to the ground down below. The cool night air drifted inwards and caressed his skin that made his pec's to begin to flex a bit. Tapping Elza's shoulder, he would say to her.
"You know girl, I would so fuck you right here and now, but I'm tired right now. David out...Pe....Zzzz...Zzz...Zzzz" And like that, David was out. He was slightly snoring as he laid there. curling to his right side, facing to the bathroom, his back aimed at her. Next thing that would happen, that would scare and scar a meer mortal and even a mighty Demi god, the sound of wind being passed as his butt cheeks began to jiggle a bit as his butt was a mere few inches away from her head. A Groan is heard from David as he tried to get comfy. The smell began to be that of death and rotten eggs, spread over a dead Opossum body that was in the sun to bake for a few days. Such a heavenly smell.

Elza had just been trying to sleep when the telltale sound of ripping wind caught her ear. Knowing all too well what that meant from her college days, Elza sprang out of the bed with an expression of shock and anger on her face. Couldn't he have done it outside? With a light groan of agitation that she was disturbed, she walked past the opened window towards the door and just rested back against it with her arms crossed. She brought her cool blue gaze back to her bags that were on the floor for a second, then looked out the window from across the room as she thought about just how she came to be involved with any of this. All she knew is that she lost control of her bike back in New York and crashed it, thankfully getting off of it despite her injuries before it exploded from gasoline leakage. Just thinking about it sent shivers down her spine, and her hand reflexively slid under her shirt to her abdominal and rib cage area where some of her injuries were at the time. After her brief recollection about her injury from her crash and then subsequently thinking of how she was saved and brought back to good health, her thoughts shifted to Brandon, aka Bam, and wondered quietly what he was up to. She was grateful to him, and wanted to repay her debt somehow to him. Her thoughts ceased as her gaze shifted back to the sleeping David. She couldn't be mad at him forever, given the prospect he probably had properly relaxed in ages.
With a groan, she lightly pressed on and rubbed her stomach as a telltale inward growl came from it, a signal of hunger, "Damn it..."

The shaking of the bed had made him open his eyes a bit as Elza moved off of the bed. He wasn't sure why she was acting like this. It was probably with him saying how he would love to bone her but fell asleep. He was happy that he was able to relax like this. It had been a Very Long time since he was able to. Sniffing the air was what made his pop open. David knew that all age smell. One that he usually busts when Bam made bake beans. Sitting up after an hour of sleep, he grabbed all his weapons and put them stashed all over his body. Grabbing the bags, he went past her through the door and went back to the SUV. Throwing all the bags she decided to carry up to the room, he didn't understand why he had done so. It was very dark. SO he jumped into the driver seat, turned it on and turned on the head lights. He was going to drive them back to the Island. Not caring if he was tired or not, he needed to get back. He just didn't feel right that he was out here with a stranger and everyone was back there like fish in a tin can. As soon as she sat down inside and shut the Passenger side door, David put it in drive and sped off. In silence, he didn't say a word.
Eventually after another hour or so of driving, he found the road that led to Belle Isle. Smiling a bit, he pressed his foot down a little more and made the SUV drive a little faster and was now driving over the bridge. Joy was in his heart as he turned the wheel and went for his parking spot. Once parked, he killed the engine and sat there for a moment. Sighing, he opened his door and grabbed most of the bags except for Elza's. Grabbing the double barrel, he would walk to the Yacht Club, setting most of them down. With his one bag, he would walk up the stairs and right to his room. He was hoping to see the sight of a sleeping Taylor to grace his eyes, but most likely, there won't be anyone there to be happy to see him.
