Describe your character's life before the outbreak:
Percy was a bit of a nerd at heart. He loved the fantastic battles of the days of old, he loved the lore and the culture of medieval times, and the times of accient samurais and viking warlords. Not that he had any desire to live in such times he found the topic of such discussions fascinating. So much so that he was delighted when he got a job as a tour guide at the musem. His entire job was to go on a journey through these times and help others visualize what it was like to see these mighty warriors in the peek of their exsistance. He would have done that job for free, but he got paid for it. His favorite however were the samurais.... Masters of stealth and dealing death to those who opposed the dysnasty. They were the ultimate killing machines, at least in Percy's mind there was no one who could touch them for downright killing power. Percy, would spent his hours at the musem admiring the displays which he never tired of seeing, and when he returned home. He could usually be found playing his favorite online video game about about knights of the round table. He fell deep into his video games as a distraction after his wife passed away, she had been married to Percy for four years and after the first year she got sick.... She battled with cancer for a long time before it finally took her. Percy, distraught threw himself into his work and his fantasy of being in a different era ( His video games ) He really needed the distration.
Describe what happened to your character on outbreak day:
On outbreak day, Percy had the day off. He was sitting at home flipping through the channels on tv wondering if he should turn on his video game as he was quite bored. He flipped past the channel with the news and it showed of rioting in the streets. Anarchy of the highest order. It looked as if the police were having trouble containing the looters and the attackers who had been going around biting people as of late, or so the news reported this was the first that Percy had heard of it. He was on his vacation, and he was on the last day of it too. But now he found himself glued to the television to see that cops were shooting people in the streets and they were getting right back up and biting them. It was absolute chaos.... At this point Percy was starting to get scared. He had heard there was a sickness going around, a superflu kinda thing and alot of the people he knew were sick from it. In fact, one or two of the people who were sick, he remembered had been bitten. He remembered thinking at the time of hearing it how strange a coinicidence it was. But now the news reports were saying to stay in doors. Lock up your doors and windows and wait for the panic in the streets to subside. Percy heard a bang at his front door. He turned and looked at the door then back at the news. Slowly, reluctantly he made his way to the door. It kept banging out there, in a dull lazy rhtythem like it was bangging to get it but didn't want to excert much effort to do so. He checked the peephole and saw a man standin there with blood non his lips. He became as quiet as a mouse and eventually the thing on the porch went away to chase someother noise.... Percy sat there with his back against the door, ready to hold it shut if the thing came back.... Percy woke up the next morning with his back stiff and still unsure what to do next.
Describe your character's life after the apocalypse:
It was only a few days into the outbreak and he had already cosumed all the food he had in his house. He didn't know what else to do but he was getting pretty hungry so he started to venture out. He found the stuff to fashion together a wrist mounted crossbow using some stuff lying around his house and a piece of leather wrist armor from his own personal collection of ancient warrior memoriabelia. Percy was a bit of a collector. The first thing he wanted to to was get himsel some weapons, his mind instantly thought of the musem, people may not have thought to loot it, which they hadn't yet. He got all of his gear he wanted and was about to head out then he sat the samurai armor he so often admired. He took the armor and slowly put it on piece by piece. This will keep those things from being able to bite me at leats he thought. He felt pretty badass fully decked out like a samurai warrior of old. He oftne thought of what it'd be like to wear this armor. It was very lightweight, surprisingly so and very comfortable and gave him good rang of motion. He was ready for the apocalypse now.
Along his travels he found a horse that was timid and shy, but he had been facing the apocalypse alone for a year now. He cautiously approached the animal ofting it a bit of food. The horse graiously accepted the food being very hungry itself and that was the beginning very beautiful thing between him and his horse. After awhile of hunkering down in one spot and spending time with this majestic creature, he found himself with a new friend and it even let him ride him. From that day on him and that horse were together all of the time. The horse had been the first real living thing he's seen in a year. He started spending his days talking to the horse which he named The Sherrif of Rotting ham. Eventually he found himself in Louisianna. And stumbled upon a group of people out in nature and the wilderness who accepted him into their group.... The group was filled with people dressed like knights and the lords of old. He couldln't help but have a smile on his face under his samuri mask as he was welcomed to have an audience with the king.
