As night swept up into day in the park, Roman was knocked well the hell out in the driver's seat of Bessie. Thankfully both doors were closed and locked so no one had to suffer his snoring through out the night. For now the fire truck was gonna be his tent, he didn't feel like leaving it for long and it's been everywhere for him since New York and he wanted it to go the full ride. It got him this far so you can't kick a girl like that when she's hit a low here in the roadless abundance of nature. So now he slept someplace all to himself and he kinda liked it like that, he's been in his own more time than a group so it would take some time to get used to that again.
As the span of hours passed, the star filled sky was replaced with the warming shades of orange and blue as the sun rose. Some of its raised caught Roman in his face and he jumped wide eyed and confused. Realizing it was just morning he groaned and leaned back into his seat before lifting the sun blocker so he wouldn't be blinded.
He felt he didn't even sleep five minutes let alone a whole night, hoping he could go back to sleep but in the end it was a fruitless effort. Once he was awake he couldn't go back to sleep for a while.
"Nature couldn't give me a few more minutes?"
After yawning and cracking his neck he stretched his limbs before opening the truck door and grabbing his gun on the way out. He was a bit hungry but he needed to get the morning tiredness out before anything. He didn't feel right if he wasn't alert and ready for action. A walk in the woods should do it. He still don't know much of the place and it gives him time to explore. He picked up a map from the entrance and could just use that to mark where he was and not get lost. Who knows he might meet some nice folks while he's out, maybe even a cute girl? There had to be more people than the ones he met, Mimi seemed really nice and Simon..well he might just had a rough day. Always forgive and forget.
"Just a walk in the Hundred Acre Wood, Easy Peezy, Lemon Breesy."
