Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
- Before the outbreak Brian was just your average guy. He had a few hobbies and interests, nothing that was really exciting of flashy. He would go to work and then come home and maybe watch netflix or play a few video games before eventually shambling his way into bed at 2 in the morning. He had his routine and he seemed to be stuck in a rut. Twice a week he would go to the gym, just for something to pull him away from the monotany of it all. He found his time at the gym to be a bit of a pickmeup for his week though, often training on the freerunning equipment for hours on end. He was just living day to day... Not really having a purpose in life other than just work. sleep. repeat. Brian had a mother named Audrey... And he knew out there somewhere he had a sister named Julie.... His mother had told him about her. She had given him up when Brian was 5. She couldn't handle two kids being a single mother, who battled alcohol abuse, she was doing all she could just to take care of Brian. She was to attached to Brian to put him up for adoption as well, but when she got pregnant she made up her mind she wouldn't grow attached. She wouldn't accept another mouth to feed when she was struggling to put a roof over Brian's head; balance a job and her abusive relationship with a bottle of whiskey she just couldn't do it. So she put Julie up for adoption and she was adopted by a nice family named The Archers... Brian found himself often wondering what his sister was like, when he was lying in bed at 2 in the morning after a long night. He found himself wondering who she was and what she looked like. Did she have any friends? Did she have a boyfriend? He felt a deep loneliness pulling at his heart. His only real friends were aquaintances and friends he knew online from his nights spent gaming. Brian wanted to know his sister... He thought about it all the time.....
What happened to your character on outbreak day?:
- On outbreak Day Brian was heading in to work. He didn't really have a uniform it was just some little small mom and pop pizza shop. He was just wearing a shirt and jeans and a pair of sneakers and a baseball cap as he carried a pizza to his car. He didn't know what the day was going to have in store for him. He opened the door and put the pizza in the car before climbing in himself. He turned on the car and the radio happened to be on. It was some emergency broadcast about a state of panic or something. Brian sighed and rolled his eyes before cutting it off. He was already 10 minutes late to this place and he had just gotten the order in his car. He cut off the broadcast that was going to warn him about what he was going to happen next. The house he was delievering the pizza to was on mapplenut drive. He had been to this particular house before. The guy who lived there was a dick. Brian wasn't expecting to get tipped at all especially since he was already late. He pulled the car around the corner, stopping only for a moment when he saw two cars at the end of the road had crashed in a head on collision. There was smoke rising from the crumpled hoods. Brian was about to call 911 and report it when he saw a few people running over to help.. Good he thought. He had to get this pizza delievered but he still wondered if the people in the cars were ok. Although there seemed to be a bit of a crowd gathering around them now so they could handle it. Brian couldn't afford to loose his job.
Brian relucantly grabbed the pizza and brought it up to the door. He knocked on the door and waited. He didn't know that 2 hours earlier the guy who lived here's daughter slit her wrists in the bathroom. A poor teenage soul the victim of constant bullying at school. No one had told her however she wouldn't stay dead. After two hours in the bathtub her parents got worried and bust down the door. They were were greated by their teenage daughter who lunged at them and bit both of them in the attack. She was 2 days away from her 18th birthday... And only a few day's away from the end of the world and civilization as they knew it. Brian knocked again and the door; that had been carelessly not shut all the way swung slowly open...
Brian: Hello? Vesscui's Pizza! Sir? Anyone here? I have your order! Pineapple and Onion extra Pineapple?
What Brian saw next would shock him... He saw a naked girl stumble into the hallway covered in blood. She was tangled up in a green shower curtian so nothing was showing. Brian dropped the pizza and ran in to help her, when he noticed the blood was on her mouth and face. She had done something terrible to something else. When she stumbled into the hall her head had head the wall with a thud. Brian thought she may have been knocked out. But her head slowly turned to face him. Her teeth biting nashing snapping at him. She reached out a hand and her eyes.....What the fuck was wrong with her eyes!? Brian scurried back to the doorway. He heard the sliding sound of something dragging across the floor. It was the asshole guy who was always rude to him. His throat had been torn out and he was pulling himself along the floor ( He broke his ankle during his daughter's attack ) The asshole turned to face Brian and reached out a bloody hand. That was it. That was all Brian cared to see, he got up and ran back to his car and sped off. He accidently hit the radio button while frantically stumbling his keys into the ignition. The reports said not to get bit! That the attackers were biting people and it was best to stay indoors.... What the hell he thought as he sped down the road. What the hell is going on? Brian drove to check on his mother but she wasn't home. Her car wasn't in the drive way. He waited as long as he could to see if she came back but eventually it got to dangerous.. Those things were in the streets now. He had to get someplace safe. Brian left.... Not knowing if his mother was ok.
Describe your character's life after the Apocaplypse:
- After the outbreak hit, Brian found himself; eventually with a small group of survivors that was lead by a man name Clyde. They had simple rules. No on left behind and share everything you find. That had been simple enough, and it kept the group a tight nit group. The people really cared about each other. Brian had mad friends and they were living in an old resutrant. There were plently of places to sit and it was pretty low key.. And then The losses started piling up. They lost Dave, and Sam, and Cam, and Tyler. Each loss they suffered to the group ripped away at his heart. Eventually it was only three of them left. Heather, Ben, and himself.... They didn't know what to do anymore. The group had dwindled down to only a few people and none of them could bare to bring up the names of those they had lost.... It was too painful. Brian had found meaning, and actual friends only to have most of them torn away from him. Heather suggested that they head north out of Georgia... She said that she didn't feel right asking the group to uproot itself for the "slight" chance her sister in New York was still alive, but now that it was only three of them she asked Ben and Brian if they'd join her. She had to know. After loosing everyone she had held dear to her she had to know if at least her sister had survived. Brian smiled. It felt good to have a goal to reach for. He had a purpose again to look for. He thought of his mother, and how he didn't know if she was alive, and he thought of his sister Julie. He wondered if she was alive... He didn't even know what she looked like. Brian and Ben agreed to go with Heather to look for her sister in New York. Brian didn't know that his sister Julie was currently in New York... Brian couldn't have known that.... He didn't even know what she looked like. He would later find out that she looked strikingly like his mother, almost as if she were just a younger version of her...
The journey from Georgia took quite awhile. And unfortunatly the group suffered more loss. Ben was eaten by the dead. They grabbed him and bit him while checking out a store. He had reached for a can of food and out of the shadows came a pair of hungry teeth that bit down on him. Brian ran to save him, but before he could there were teeth sinking down into Ben's face and another set finding a tempting parcel of skin on his neck.
Ben: RUNNNNNNNNNN!
With tears in his eyes Brian grabbed Heather's hand and ran as fast as he could. They had lost another.... It was in New York where Heather found her sister's apartment. The two of them stood outside the door, unsure what they would find on the other side. It was Brian's hand on her shoulder that gave Heather the strength to open the door. She opened the door to see her sister's corpse sitting in the arm chair.... Brains blown out and a gun in her lap. Brian tried to stop her, but the depression of "just another loss" on their trip was to much for her, she put a gun in her mouth and pulled the trigger. Brian was in shock! He had lost everyone. He felt cold and hollow as he slumped against the wall and slid to the floor. Heather's brains covered his face and shirt as he began to cry in the New York apartment. He didn't know if he'd ever find the courage to stand up again. He couldn't take another death on his troubled mind....
