Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
-Evangaline lived in Baltimore MD and worked as an EMT. She grew up just outside of D.C. and moved to Baltimore when she graduated EMT training and was offered a job working for Procare Ambulance services. She wanted to stay close to her family, at least her mom and dad, who moved to a small apartment in D.C. Her sister graduated from Georgetown and moved to New York City to start a job as an ad executive and they would all meet up during the holidays and summer vacations. The last vacation they had as a family was a cruise to the Bahamas. It was memories she would keep with her forever. She was dating a man named Phil, who worked as a cargo worker at the Port. They had only just started dating and he was ten years older then she was. She had no pets and lived by herself in a little apartment near Butcher's Hill.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
-Evangaline was woken up by a simple phone call from work, asking her to come in early as they were getting quite busy. She usually worked a night shift or overnight shift, so other then being a little groggy, she was ready to start working. Once she got to work though, transporting people that had been bitten seemed to be the only calls they were getting. They were getting overwhelmed with calls and were running out of ways to transport. Hospitals were going on divert and a 9 hour shift ended up being a full 24 hour shift for her. She was exhausted and was only getting a few hours of sleep for the next few weeks. Mistakes were made.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
-It's been a few years since the outbreak and Baltimore was overrun. She just left her partner behind when they were overwhelmed by a horde, leaving him in the wake so she could get away. She decided to stay mobile, sleeping in the ambulance and locking it up tight at night. She would park it in garages or storage units as she could find them, just to stay double safe. She met people here and there, but never trusted them enough to stay with them. She knew of groups of bandits and raiders and has becoming increasingly afraid of them as their groups grow larger. She knew where medical supplies were and she could get what she needed for trade. Often times she would trade antibiotics and bandages for food and water and that was how she got on. As time goes on though she is getting tired of being the nomad in her ambulance. She wants to settle, trust people and help those that need to be helped in a medical capacity. It's just a matter of when.
