Brina heard the familiar voice of a man and looked back from her surveying in time to find Lane had opened his eyes and was addressing Charly, and gave a soft half-smile at the irony; he was waking up in a pool of his blood, from an injury, and that was the first thing he asked? Well, whatever, he was awake, all he needed was to rest a bit. With that, she gently patted Julie on the shoulder and stood up, drawing her pistol in the meantime afterwards before speaking, "I don't feel comfortable leaving that woman alone by herself. I'm going to go get her and carry her back here, where we can protect her. I'll be right back, alright?", she asked, staring down at Julie as if wondering if such a thing was okay with her.
Julie stood up to, she smiled a little seeing Lane awake. She hadn't really gotten alot of time with her brother yet. And she supposed it could wait a little bit longer. She watched him as he laughed at something Charly said and his face was lighting up as he looked at her. Man that fool's got it bad for her, Julie could tell just by looking at him. She would give them two some alone time. But something was nagging at her, her brother was different now. Not at all in a bad way, perhaps better. He seemed nicer, more care free. She knew him before the end of the world, but she had never had the chance to be with him during or after the outbreak. She was driving to pick him up from prison the day the outbreak started. But the chaos all around pushed her furth and further away from her destination, until there was no way to get to him. She didn't even know if he was alive all this time. But before the outbreak, Lane was a schemer, always sizing someone up for what they could do for him, rather than what they were like, and he never gave a damn about anyone besides himself and his sister Julie, but now, seeing him happy, laughing and what he seemed to be willing to risk for this girl. She obviously ment alot to him, and Charly had her blessing to continue to make her brother happy, even if she could be a cockblocking little dickhead. Julie thought with a smile growing on her face. They were cute together.
Julie: "Hold up, I'm coming too."
She followed Sabrina out into the dark mall. She quickly found her and grabbed her arm. She didn't like being this exposed in the dark, especially not after she was almost eaten earlier. She didn't mind being almost eaten in the electronics store, but she didn't want a walker doing the honors. She clutched Sabrina's arm and tugged it a bit. They were standing in a soft spotlight of moonlight that came in through the far window.
Julie: "Nothing's wrong is it? I can't seem to get a read on what you're thinking, you're always so in your own head, just tell me..... is anything up? What was it you wanted to show me?"
She noticed that Sabrina had finally taken off her ring, in the pale light of the moon. Did she do that while she was sleeping? Julie didn't know. She only knew it filled her with hope and looked optimistically at the redhead she had grown very found of in such a short time.

Brina heard that Julie was coming with her, and she couldn't but feel a slight tinge of delight from that fact as she got up to leave back towards the Electronics store. Luckily, the first floor really was secure, and there were no signs of entry. The woman was still asleep on the bench, and looked back at Julie. If they wanted, they could spend time alone there, behind the walls of the store if they wanted to, but she didn't know where Julie stood on that. She had enjoyed the attention that Julie had shown her before, and wouldn't mind more of it...what was wrong with her? She was married, for Pete's sake! Then again, she was married to a possible lost cause, hence where she put her ring. Regardless, she turned to look at Julie after finding that the woman was safe, wondering what she wanted to do now, before she heard Julie's questions to her. With a slight exhale, she slid a hand up to caress Julie's cheek, her blue eyes on hers sensually before she spoke in turn, "What's up? Well, first off..I can't get what happened earlier out of my mind. Since my rape, can't speak for Charly here...I just felt my emotions dashed. Cut off, so to speak. Your influence earlier, well...it brought them back, to a degree; emotions for you. I don't know if my husband is alive or what have you, but I do know that, for this moment, I...", she started, but couldn't finish...she was scared she was sounding corny, she wasn't much of a romantic so she didn't know how to word her feelings...perhaps there was another way to portray them?
Julie looked over, the shutter was down on the electronics store. The woman was inside and safe. Perhaps resting, maybe awake, either way she was alive. Julie looked back to Sabrina and chewed her low lip in a devilish smile. Grabbing Sabrina's hand she pulled her along behind her.
Julie: "Wait here a moment."
Julie slipped inside the electronics store and left Sabrina waiting in the plaza. She held up one finger to tell her she'd only be gone a minute and disappeared into the darkness being swallowed up by the blackness of the store behind the shutters. A few moments later Julie emerged with two flashlights, she had seen them earlier in the store and she had checked them out, they were the kind you shake to charge and get the lights going. She gave them both a shake and turned them on handing one to Sabrina.
Julie: "You know before the outbreak, i was with other women.... What i mean is, i've always been into women..."
She was walking backwards away from Sabrina as she spoke. She felt safe with Sabrina, and with the flashlights it wasn't so scarey so she was a bit more at ease.
Julie: "But every time i had a girlfriend before, my favorite thing to do as a teenager was to go to the mall and shop with them, what can i say i was a mall rat..... Come on babe let's go explore."

Brina felt her lips parting lightly as she listened to Julie while she went into the darkness of the Electronics store for something. Well, it was the Electronics store after all, so there were bound to be unused flashlights and batteries, right? It was only a wild guess, of course, and felt a chuckle leave her lips as she saw she was right. She was just glad she wouldn't have had to make a makeshift torch out of her clothes. When she heard Julie tell her to come on, that they were going to go explore since she noticed that Miri was up and at'em with the other 2 to go and find some supplies themselves, she decided to tag along.
With the feel of some sort of butterfly-like feeling in her chest and stomach at being alone with Julie again, she wondered what was with that feeling. Was she gradually becoming attached to Julie? That she wanted to be with her, to make her experiences better? She didn't know how she could, she's never been with another woman before. She's never even had sex before, not even before...well, regardless, she walked up behind Julie, looking around lightly.
"I wish this place would have some sort of map. Don't you? If need be, I can make our own map with my book and pencil as we go."
Julie didn't find the problem in it. She didn't feel the need to map things out and do a corridinated search store by store. She wasn't trying to turn this into a mission she just wanted to go off and have fun. She wanted to explore the store in the dark and see what treasures lied within it's dark unvisited rooms. Most of the walkers had jumped to their death already. Julie hadn't taken into account there were still some on the third floor that no one knew about and that some that had fallen to the floor hadn't smashed their head and were still in the darkness in front of them, reaching towards the two voices in the dark. Julie hadn't considered these things, she only knew that her brother was spending time with his best gal and she wanted to too. She reached and grabbed Sabrina's hand giving it a light squeeze as if to say are you ready? And then she ran off into the dark of the store. Hoping Sabrina would follow. So much bad has happened between them. What was wrong with having a little fun now? Now that she assumed they were safe. The mall was still very unsafe. If she would have known that she would have stuck closer to Sabrina knowing that nothing could touch her as long as she was near. But she hadn't. For the first time since Zane's compound and Lane's accident, and the drive over she was feeling like herself. Like the Julie before the outbreak. Like the fun loving girl who was smooth on dates and knew how to have fun, throwing caution to the wind. No matter the consequences. It was reckless and dumb and totally in the moment, but she didn't care. Truely in the moment and carefree was how she was before and that's how she felt right now. It was a liberating feeling.
Julie: "come on sugar, lets find a little trouble tonight."
She disappeared into the darkness before Sabrina could stop her. The only thing that could be seen was Julie's flashlight beem bouncing in the dark as she ran, before she disappeared into a store.

Brina walked down the paths of the darkness in the mall, using the flashlight that Julie was holding to peer through the dark, to see where they were going. Being a woman of a different upbringing, she was a woman who simply loved her father. Her father was an accomplished police officer but he became KIA, and in order to honor his footsteps and memory Brina became a policewoman herself. Before the outbreak, she was tasked with being an undercover policewoman in order to track a suspect in some crimes. What were the crimes, she didn't know. It was so long ago. She just knew that she had to do the mission, even if that meant getting closer to other men in her disguise for information and to accomplish her task. But that's when things went to shit.
Taking this into consideration, Brina gasped lightly as she felt and saw Julie leave her side to go explore in the darkness, her blue eyes watching her. What if there were sleeping walkers in there? That they couldn't see? That was the danger, and yet...she wanted to do something so illicit to survival? Well, she couldn't blame her. With a light sigh, she jogged after Julie with her knife in hand.
When Julie had seen Sabrina's flashlight coming towards her in the dark she was coming out of a store. She was wearing a new outfit. She was wearing a pair of grey jeans and a long sleeve blouse, she had changed out of the slop she was wearing to felt better being in some clean clothes, they were just hanging there after all no one else was going to use them. Sabrina finally made it up to her when Julie smiled.
Julie: "Well girl, looks like there's not much exploring to do down here, most of these stores are locked up tighter than a frog's ass."
Growing up in the south Julie always loved the stupid expressions southerns came up with, they were all so wonderfully depitctive and absurd. She shinned her beem of light on the directory in front of them. Walking closer to it she looked at it, there was a few things on the top floor she wanted to check out. There was the book store. She didn't like that idea at all she didn't even want to go near it. Zane used to spend hours reading his damn books, it was his favorite way to pass the time when he wasn't making her life miserable.
The directory also said that the food court was up top on the third floor. She would settle for that. She was starving, She hadn't noticed until now because the thrill of exploring this huge mall was so fun, but her legs were getting shaky she was starting to feel a little lightheaded as well.
Julie: "Hey ummm.... why don't we find some food and get back? Third floor has a food court maybe we find something there? No more running off by myself i promise, i'll stick real close k?"
Julie wasn't feeling so "fun" anymore, her stomach was incredible pain though she was trying not to show just how much it hurt. She just wanted to get something in her stomach and find the others. There was a moment of quiet between them and in that moment she heard the familiar growls of the dead she couldn't tell where it was coming from. She didn't want to be in this mall anymore. It was no longer fun. It was just creepy now. She wanted to visit the place Sabrina had told her about the amusement park. She was tempted to say fuck it and find food on the road this place was really getting to her now. She looked at Sabrina. Sabrina's flashlight beam lit up Julie's face as she spoke.
Julie: "You're call do you wanna keep looking? Or head back and grab the others and get out of here? Lane and Miri looked well enough for travel."

Sabrina looked around with her own flashlight as she saw Julie had come out in a new pair of clothes. She could use some herself after she looked down at her form. Now that she remembered, she wasn't wearing a bra, either, her chest being of the size to be comfy without one, so all she needed was a fresh new shirt and pants. Question was, where did Julie get them? She walked to the store she just walked out of and shone her light inside to see it was a small clothing store. Lucky her! She grinned at Julie and walked inside, ignoring the groans of the undead for the moment; after all, from the sounds, it seemed to be just one. To be safe, though, she took Julie by the hand and set the flashlight down on a nearby table so all of the clothes were illuminated, looking among them now, unaware of how Julie was feeling at the moment.
"I know we have to find some supplies, and we will do that in a second. I just need to get some new clothes for myself...do you think Lane would like this place, too? Maybe he'd want some clothes, too.", she said thoughtfully as she looked at some t-shirts and tank tops for starters.
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
