The world had changed so much since it went to shit, now the dead ruled the world and the living strived to survive. For three years now she had clung to the small hope that it somehow would get better, that there still was something worth living for. So far she hadn`t found it, after months of roaming alone she had avoided most groups after just seeing how they acted. Most had gone vile and murderous, taking care of their own needs and desires above anyone else`s. She was about to lose faith in mankind all together, though she kept going, until she couldn`t take it no more. The big city had been her home since before the outbreak, and it was here she would live out the rest of her days, even if it meant she would die there.
She knew the streets like the backend of her pocket, having been a very social outgoing person in the past, as well a member of several criminal organizations. The Van she owned was for the time being used as a stationary home, where she had her setup in full functioning order. Inside it she would sleep on a madras, and use her efficient network of computer screens to hack into satellite systems around the world, not to mention check for broadcast once in a while. All which received power and signal from the solar panel and antenna on top of her vehicle.
Leaving it all locked behind, she went out in search for supplies, taking an empty backpack with her. She scourged areas she yet hadn`t been in, and sought to find some canned goods, drinkable liquid and other sort of items. Eventually she made her way down to the Mississippi river where she ended up inside an old forgotten clothing store, and with nothing else to do she took the opportunity to try out a pair of clothes that hadn`t been touched in years. Finding a rather awesome black leather jacket that fitted her perfectly, she decided on taking it.
"Wow, if I only could always look this good." She commented on her appearance as she checked herself out in the mirror, pleased by her new look.
