Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
-James had a fairly normal upbringing, his mother managed a restaurant that had been in their family for years, and his father worked as a mechanic and was in a motorcycle club. He grew up as a very active young man, he played a different sport every few years. His parents would always push him to get involved in activities after school. At the time he thought they wanted him to just be more involved in school and make friends, but as he matured and grew up he realized they were trying to keep him away from the kind of life they lived. His father was into things that he only saw in movies, and his mother worked at the restaurant to act as a front for some of the "activities" his father would put together. Once he hit the age of thirteen he approached his father wanting to be involved more in his "work." Of course his father refused and told him to forget about it, that it would never happen, well it wasn't over that easily. This subject was brought up for several months, and even years. It wasn't until James was around the age of seventeen that his father finally got the okay and was able to bring him in on a basic job. His father made it perfectly clear, that once he was in, he was going to have to work his ass off and earn respect to move up in the club rankings.
Years passed, his parents passed (of natural causes) and that one basic job seemed like it was a lifetime ago. He was now one of the "go-to-guys" in the club, his word meant alot, he was respected, and even feared by some of the prospects, and the club became the only "family" he had now. His normal day to day life revolved around the club. Working nine to five tinkering around with cars: changing flat tires, doing tune-ups, tinting windows, engine work the usual, and in the afternoons meetings with the club: discussions about new members, jobs, turf, and money.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
-James had been hearing and seeing stories of a sickness; in the newspapaer, magazines, news, you name it. Having the same mentality that everyone does involving a situation like this, and thinking that it'll never affect him, he didnt pay any of it any attention.
Days later, it seemed like the sickness or whatever it was jumped accross several states and was now in Ohio. People were out of control, stock piling any medicine they could find, cough medicine, allergy medicine, hell even Tylenol it didnt matter. And much like how fights escalate, so did this situation. Rushing to the stores lead to pushing for the product, pushing lead to punching, and punching lead to full on fighting, and soon the fighting spilled into the streets. But what followed the fighting was crazy....people were...biting other people! More and more reports of physical assaults seemed to involve teeth insted of fists.
What the hell was happening?
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
-It seemed like he'd been by himself for some time, like it was years ago since the last time he saw anyone, anyone living that is. His other club members had either been killed off, killed themselves, or split town some time ago. He didn't blame them, he was thinking of leaving town too. The only thing left here was memories of what life was, and reminders of what more than likely will never be again.
