Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
- Boyd was the third born son in the Crowe family. He was the baby of the family for only a few years until his sister was born. Shortly after that his dad was found dead on the side of the road, gunshot to the head. The police suspected foul play but it never went farther than he paperwork. It's still unknown what or who caused this death, but each brother has their own theory.
Boyd grew up a semi decent life. He was Bayou rich, meaning he lived better than most, had a big mansion on stilts. He had gated walls and money to do what ever he wanted. But they weren't rich, they did t have a fleet of cars, they didn't have helicopters or servants. But compared to others in the town and in the bayou, they were filthy rich.
Most of this was because Boyd's parents were stealing from the town. More so once his dad died. His mom was only looking out for her family. By the end of everything the Crowe family owned over half the land, was he majority share holder in most of the businesses. The over charged on the property value, and had the cops, city council, and the mayor under their thumb.
Boyd wanted out, at eighteen, once he finished school, he moved out. He had decent enough grades to get him into the university in the city. There he went for an Enginerring degree, learning how to build computers, write code, all that. While there he met a girl, three year younger than him. She was at a college party he had gone to. Not knowing her age at the time he assumed she was 18, sadly she wasn't. But in the end they stayed together, and when she was eighteen moved in with him briefly.
They drifted apart a year later and broke up. Boyd moved back to the bayou. There he helped security on the property. He installed cameras, and helped keep files, and erase things his mother wanted gone. He hacked the police servers to delete any records the brothers had, he did as his mother told him to do, like he had always done,
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
-The outbreak didn't reach the bayou for a good week. But communication and suppliers were cut off long before. Every thing just went dead, it was silent, empty. Boyd had managed to find some of the info about the virus online, police reports, and incidents all reported all over the world. He leaked the information to the people of Poulence, confirming what were rumours on the reports the goverment issued on radio. This sent the people into panick, looting, rioting.
Wasn't long before supplies were being swallowed up. Boyd and his brothers held the mansion, looking it down and sealing it off. They mansion was gated, so it was pretty easy. With acces to a river behind them they fished and fed off gator. The first day they mostly amassed supplies, weapons, food, bullets. All as ordered by their mom.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
-The brothers held the mansion. They would venture into the town, or the city for supplies. They gathered quite. A it of reserves, dried meat, fish, and canned vegetables. With water from both the well and what they found they were living comfortably. A brother would always be on watch, keeping an eyes out for anything or anyone.
A year and a half in their mother got sick. She fell ill, a fever, and infection running high. Without doctors or medicine to treat her she eventually died in her sleep. It was the Boyd who found her turned, and gave her mercy. Together the three buried her in the backyard, saying their finals goodbyes.
Without much to do, no goal or leadership the brothers were lost. Buck wanted to cause mischief and steal from the people in the town, just what was needed. Boyd wanted to search for their sister, who had left the drama at sixteen and ran away from home, content on finding her own way in life. And Beau wanted to just simply survive.
All three were only looking out for themselves and Randi. But as supplies dwindled down they knew they'd have to stsrt crossing paths with any of the survivors from the town.
