George sat there, the gun aimed directly at the side of his head. This was it, this was the end. He was ready to pull the trigger when shouts and screams could be heard from the building the man who shot him hurried into. George looked at the building and aimed his gun away, accidently pulling the trigger. It gave George a jump at first, but he calmed down and looked at his bitten leg. But, there was something different about the bite, no blood, no pain... No actual bite. George laughed in disbelief, the walkers teeth only went through his jeans and didn't touch the skin.
George looked over to the radio he had dropped and spoke into it. "Hello? Hello? Can anyone hear me?" he said rather loudly. There was no response, either no one was on the other end or the radio was broken. He gave a quick shake of the head and got to his feet. His intentions were to check out what the scream were. He walked as quickly as possible over to the door of the building and tried to pull it open. It was to no avail as the doors didn't open. George slammed on the doors in hope that someone could open. He waited and waited, but the screaming started again. He knew the only way he could get it open was to bust the lock. The man aimed at the door's lock and pulled the trigger. He then swung open the door and rushed into the building. His eyes scanned the room as he saw multiple people get devoured by walkers and a woman screaming in a corner, still untouched.
George's first action was to shoot as many walkers as he could. He aimed at the first one, shooting it's chest twice then striking a final in it's head. He then locked his sights onto one right next to him, an easy shot, an easy kill. He took the shot and aimed at the final one, killing it after a couple shots. George looked at the woman and approached her slowly. "Are-are you alright?" he said with a hand out towards her. "Wait, that's the man who tried to kill me, honey" said a voice that was close by. George turned to see the man who had shot him on the ground, covered in blood. He heard an unsheathing from where the woman was stood. George turned to see her with a knife and ready to kill, she then launched her self at him.
George grabbed the woman's arm to make sure the knife didn't meet his body. He then pushed his thumb into her wrist, making her drop the knife. He kicked the knife away as far as he could and pushed the woman up against the wall, letting go as he thought she would give up. He aimed his gun at her head and watched her cautiously. "Don't. Fucking. Move" he said angrily. His gaze then met the man who had attempted to kill him, looking at the pool of blood he was in. He checked the woman didn't try anything and then made his way over to the man. "Okay man, I didn't mean what h-happend before, I-I was just protecting my wife, man" he said, stuttering multiple times. George kneeled down and looked at the man's bite, sighing afterwards. "You know... There isn't much chance of you surviving that" he said with a saddened face. "It's-it's better to die a human then... One of those things". The man though about it for a minute, but then gave a firm nod. "You're right". George looked at his pistol and then dropped it in front of the dying man. "It seems you need this more than I do". He walked away from the building, out of the doors. He closed the doors behind and heard two loud gunshots. He stopped for a moment, thinking about what he had done then continued.
He went around the side of the building and saw one the cars their group used. He got in the car and started it up, he looked up at the hot Miami sun before setting off to find whatever he could, whatever was left.
