Despite everything that she has seen she still tries to make good of the world and the people still left alive. Even though most of her experiences seem like one train wreck after the other. This hidden personality often times shines through. However, the most noticeable of her personality is of sadness and obscurity. Underneath the hardened exterior is just a girl trying to find her way in life. Still clinging to a single shred of a hold-out type of hope. For a girl her age she is surprisingly fit. With an athletic body that indicates she has done much running her past; but running from what is her biggest mystery, as she refuses to indulge in her history to those she does not trust. Her sense of personality would tell someone that she is in fact running from something. Though she would be hesitant to just open up about her feelings. Her skin tone is something reasonable from her suggest region of the Earth. A tan Middle Eastern color.
Her hair is always a soft brown. Her skin is smooth despite the hardship of the apocalypse. Perhaps being under the Middle Eastern sun has given her skin a smoothness that can only be achieved through direct heat. She does not possess much things she calls her own. But the clothing she wears is usually a tee shirt and jeans with a nice pair of basic sneakers. Her family was an impoverished one living out of Peshawar. List 3 or more good personality traits:
- Adaptable: Despite the world going to hell, Hannah is very accessible to the situation at hand. She prefers to preserver in hard times over allowing herself to give up. She doesn't know where her strength comes from sometimes, only that it has gotten her far in life. Despite her reclusive behavior she draws on her Gods to help keep her safe in a time where God shouldn't be in existence.
- Athletic: She tries to keep up with her body. Despite coming from small beginnings in an area of the world that doesn't really acquire common day-to-day items such as exercise equipment, she finds other ways to keep in shape. Though she is no body builder, she still possess an athletic body mostly able to run in cases of escape. Though athletic in form, she is also a tiny girl. Able to fit into hard to reach places that would be hard for a Walker to enter.
- Compassionate: Staying alive means everything to Hannah. In coming from a side of the world that only knew violence and hate speech, she has still kept her passionate side. Often wishing of forlorn days where chasing a dream was actually a reality. Now she focuses on trying to stay alive and making the dream of finding a group of survivors who wont try to hurt her. Her dream is to be able to settle down and live a happy life. She believes that it is still possible despite all the ugliness in the world. She also believes in helping others. As she tries to find the good in people.
- Earnest: She is always a truthful little spirit. Always trying to tell the truth even though some situations would dictate differently. She prefers to be honest with someone perhaps out of fear they would try something to take advantage. She tries to analyze every situation with logic and sincerity and walk away where everybody is happy. Nobody gets hurt.
- Courageous: Always having a flair to help others in times of need, she always tries to do the right thing. Even if that means laying her life on the line for people she absolutely trusts. She likes to help her friends and engage them to be better themselves. She always tries to envision the future as a place where people can co-exist in peace and harmony without violence. She believes by helping others survive they can achieve this goal.
List 3 or more bad personality traits:
- Complex: Despite being a good-natured human being, she can oftentimes lock herself away from people that are trying to help. Sometimes choosing to shut down and refuse to let people in and help. She tries to not let it be personal but more times than not it will get her in trouble from the less than desirable side of the human race. This leads to her making rash decisions because of a often weakened emotional state.
- Determined: In trying to always do the right thing and not allow people to get hurt it will cost her rational thinking. She is narrow minded and cannot see the bigger picture and the consequences that come with trying to help everyone. During some situations she is unable to ascertain a good person from a bad person at the start. She seem everyone as a human being who needs help upon first glance.
- Earthy: She is always so lax about things. She chooses to think about the harm that the virus and the after effects of human morale and what they do to the Earth. However, even though there are no more weapons that can take out entire villages, she still believes that the virus is something of God's creation. A hand of judgement to erase the sins of man. She doesn't stop to believe that the virus may have been manufactured or if the virus was just something freak bacteria. She hides behind a god-complex still believing that Mother Earth is the most precious thing. And that the fact that humans have to kill Walker leaves a mental scar as they used to be human - this mentality makes her strongly believe that killing a Walker is bad. It damages the Earth by leaving the virus behind as the infected beings decompose.
- Aimless: She doesn't know where she wants to go. But instead lets herself wander without direction. Her aim is to find a place to rest her head and be able to survive and rest for long periods of time. Though she knows this is a goal that cannot be reached as she has no hope of finding people that would take her kind in. Or so she is led to believe. She contradicts herself in most scenarios. Where trying to do good for people will somehow outweigh the possibility that someone might be as kind in return. She also believes the world still looks down on her people as highly radical religious doomsayers.
List 3 strengths:
- Perseverance: Although she comes from a fairly impoverished side of the world, she always looks for something to fight for. However times the situation may seem bleak and survival seems like a joke, she always finds a way to battle through the pain and misery caused by the virus. Her inner strength flows from the power of believing in God. Though underneath the layers she only believes that family would believe in God.
- Justice: Possessing a civic strength that oftentimes gets her in trouble for believing in the greater good more than she should. She believes in fairness and having a good leader could mean the key to surviving a long post-apocalypse. Though finding the leader that fits every role socially and mentally is the hardest part.
- Strong temperament: She possesses a strong ability to protect herself from the excess of human nature. Though more oftentimes than not there is the occasional break through where she will allow herself to be easily overcome. She believes that in having a sense of self-regulation, then one can persevere through the worst storm. Through having a sense of duty and prudence to helping other survive perhaps in a like-minded community of people that seek survival then will a person be at their best. This is met with a certain sense of humility. That she tries to cower from.
List 3 flaws:
- Self-martyr: She has a recurring them in her personality where she is super nice and tries to help everyone. The reality is she wants to give herself over to the cause even if it kills her. Despite her strong belief in helping other people, she is looking for a way out. She hates that she feels this way sometimes as she knows that her people have oftentimes been labeled "martyrs for the cause".
- Superstitious: She has a flaw that dictates her fear of the wrath of God. Rather than logically related to the direct actions of human error or the direct events of cause and effect. She blindfolds herself with that God is giving them punishment. Every day this view on life is obscured and grows more distant from the aspect that it was her family that believed in the act of God. She carries this notion around that if she lets her family fade from memory, then God will strike her down in all of his anger. So she tries to help out other people despite her good intention that it might and could get her in trouble. Not thinking about her own well-being.
- Temperamental: She can oftentimes be moody and clingy, irritable and sensitive. Especially about her past where she seems to be wandering away from what she wants to be. She cannot find who she is among the chaos that the virus has inflicted. She believes helping other people is a way for answering to the broken shards of her past. Albeit, being confused about what had transpired, she believes that she can be stronger through wandering the wasteland looking for something. However, that thing may not technically be there. She is more afraid of being able to not help someone, then making the right decision. She sees things as black and white. That one can only do good.
Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
- Hannah was always a poor girl from a tiny fishing village in Pakistan. She had big dreams and aspirations but coming from a side of the world where they could be extinguished quite easily, she always found a reason to be inspired.
Growing up in Peshawar, Pakistan she never had modern conveniences such as the internet, or quality cable television, video games. She was taught how to fish and wash clothes the old fashioned way. It didn't improve much during her childhood. Her family was so impoverished that it oftentimes scared her mother. However Mamma Jilani was never the type of person to give up hope, which is where little Hannah learned to find her strength. When she was 15, she experienced a traumatic event. She remembers to this day as her childhood friend had started to climb a flagpole. Despite being told that they shouldn't touch the nation's flag, her friend was persistent on the joke that was being told at the time. It was a time when the world was socially corrupt. As her friend started to climb there had been a mob that was forming around the base of the flag. Hannah tried to tell her to come down, but it was in that instant that someone else climbed up and pulled her down. The girl was dead as she hit the ground. Perhaps the resulting contusion to the back of the head. Hannah was never the same after that fateful day. What she had witnessed had truly been a blow to her confidence. She stopped being the same ambitious girl she was. She stopped believing in being a pretty lady that could lead such a luxurious life different from some poor fishing family in Pakistan.
As the war between Pakistan and Israel began to heat up and the US army was increasing their attacks in the region, her father one day went out to fight but never came back. It was all over Al Jazeera that her father had been labeled a terrorist for his mysterious activities. At the time the activities were as mysterious as his new label. The family had no indication that he was even a soldier for a radical Islamic group of freedom fighters. It only made the girl feel more numb to the harsh realities of the world. No sooner had her mother scooped her up and moved to America to live a freer and healthier life. To get away from the harsh political climate of the region. She wanted more for Hannah. She was even enrolled in a college where it seemed her dreams of grandoise were just beginning, and not a dashed and jaded memory.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
- On the day of the outbreak she had been in school. She had started her first year when all hell broke loose. She had gotten the news while taking a break in the student lounge doing some work on her laptop. The air raid siren went off and it was broadcast that the greater New York area was under lockdown. A lot of disturbing things unfolded after that as they were told that nobody was allowed to leave the school. Staff and students alike had to live in the school, converting the gymnasium to a temporary housing, as the army rolled in. Nobody was supposed to leave. But that didn't stop the most rebellious from attempting an escape. Perhaps they just wanted to see what the world was like outside after a purported "virus outbreak". They never came back. Just like father. As the weeks rolled on she had started to become worried. And so a couple of people formed a secret group to try and escape the school. She hesitantly joined up with them to get back to her mother. After weeks of planning they had managed to escape the school. As she returned to find an abandoned house she found no sign of her mother. With her brothers decided to stay in Pakistan and pick up some revenge plot to avenge their father, she was all alone in a world that made no sense anymore. She lived in the house for a day before decided that the best course of action was to keep moving. The plan was to to go to a coast. Any coast. She wanted to avoid travelling inland.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
- Ever since she had hooked up with a survivor camp she has been on the move. Unable to cope with the harsh realities that life was giving her. Eventually she found out what happened to her mother. She had been at a sister camp when it was overrun with Walkers. There were reported to be no survivors. SInce then she has been traveling from camp to camp as the military slowly degraded and their power hold over the Walkers became weaker and weaker. As the camps slowly started to fall she has been trying to find a place to call her own. Safe from the rotten core of humanity. Often hooking up with other survivors to get her farther then she would be able to on her own.
