Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
- Billie grew up an only child in a better off home. Born and raised in twin fall Idaho she had a modestly small town life. She did alright in school, had inspiration. She was never the best, but was creative and worked the best she could. By the end of it she was an average student, some where in the middle, getting by but no exceeding.
In her final year of highschool Billie fell in love with an older boy in San Francisco. At the age of eighteen, she moved out and across the country to live with him. In doing so she severed any ties she had with her parents. This disavowed her, stopping speaking with her at all. For two months she lived with the guy. He was thirteen years her senior, and manipulated him easily. In the end he just used her for sex, dropping her and kicking her out the second he got bored.
She lived on the street for a year, and eventually, started taking odd jobs. With the high price range of the city living she had to find jobs else where. In order to live in the city she took on four jobs to survive.
She kept on it for many years, making quite a busy living. No friends, all work, no play.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
- She was in the diner when it happened. Caught in the riot she locked herself in with a family, a few tourists, and some other cooks. They locked it down, and kept quiet. They kept expecting the military to come only it never did. They were stranded left. As the day turned to night the riots and fighting got worse. When people tried to get I got the diner, the men fought it off, loosing only one of the tourists.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
- The next day they fled the city, heading out on their own. It was lucky they did, heading north to the red wood forests. It was lucky they did, San Francisco and many of the major cities were bombed, trying to take out the dead. The group she was with stayed with her in the forests, going through tourist areas and campsites.
A year in her group were attacked, cut off by a large hoarde, and forced out. She was alone, forced to travel. Making her way back to San Francisoc on foot took a while. She didn't know where she was going , and could only go so long each day. Lost and on her own. She hasn't encountered any one in about a year.
But she finally made it to the city, the only place she knew. Her plan was to find her apartment, and just get in a familiar place she could live. She has no plans of survival. Just find food, medicine, and water.
