Lila sat back and laughed as he answered the dare, or so she thought he was answering.
"What? That doesn't count! That can't be the one thing you've never told anyone! Drink up soldier."
She shook her head and sat back up again, motioning for him to drink. However, he didn't pick a truth or dare and he didn't ask her a truth question. She had to wonder if the game was over or if this was starting to move into a new game now.
"Play fair? How am I not playing fair? What do you want me to do officer friendly?" She leaned in a bit and this time, decided to tease him just a little more. She pulled her arms in and pressed her breasts together giving him ample cleavage. She was flirting. Dammit, the one thing she didn't want to do and here she was doing it.
He was a stranger. She had to remember that. The only thing they had in common right now was the fact they were two survivors who didn't want to get eaten by the dead or enslaved by the living.
"Are we still playin or have we moved into another game?"
"Ah ah ah. Nope, see I have 2 favorites- Green and purple. Just so happens, everyone knows about the green. Nobody knows about the purple. Is entirely honest-and I'm perfectly fine with playing with words. But I kinda like the idea of taking the danger...so you drink up, since technically you fenagled out of my dare."
He'd raise his eyebrows as though to say "Yeah, now what about that, hmm...?" before he'd chuckle and lean back. His eyes, of course, would dart down to the show she was giving him- he couldn't help it. She was gorgeous, and she was clearly interested in him seeing that. He wouldn't disappoint. Still, he'd follow his own orders about playing fair, and down the shot, clenching his teeth at the burn for playing with words too.
"No, we're still gonna play. Your truth is...hmm..."
He tilted his head to the side a little, staring at her then smirking.
"When was the most recent time you were turned on?"
Damn, he's good.

Lila pursed her lips together and rolled her eyes as she took the shot of tequila and downed it, just like he did. It burned as it went down and she was getting more and more relaxed here. She hadn't been with another guy for a number of years and even when she drank, her boyfriend was always there with her, drinking along. They would happily doze off in a drunken stupor, or one would be holding the other's hair back as they were puking it all out. She was starting to forget that.
He asked his question and she looked at him. Her eyes met with his and although the light was low, she could see that sparkle in those baby blues. She was starting to wonder if the color of his eyes was becoming her favorite color now. She had to answer him and instead of being shy and reserved, it just came out of her mouth.
"What if I said right now?"
She tilted her head as she looked at him, still holding the shot glass in her fingers as her eyes traveled down his chest, down to his abs and eventually at his lap. The shy, blushing girl was gone. He was bringing out the worst in her.
He leaned forward, grabbing the bottle and pouring them both another shot....while continuing to watch her. She seemed enthralled by his face and eyes, so he'd make sure she could continue her examination. He suspected she would say right now, which didn't earn a smile, but actually got a serious response.
"I'd say that makes two of us."
He would stay leaned forward, drinking in the look on her face. The beautiful blonde, leaning forward, cleavage spread and eyes wanting. He gave a slow, small lick of his bottom lip before a bite followed. His next word was simple, continuing the game from less than a foot away from her face.
"Dare."
That was his choice. He expected that her reservations were shifting, as were his. The drinks weren't super powerful to a big man like him, but he was still buzzed. It had been years since he drank, after all, so all the resistance he built up was now shattered. Not to mention he...really didn't want the resistance in the first place. All he wanted now was to watch this apocalyptic beauty talk, to watch her mouth move amid the flickering of the candlelight.

Lila stopped laughing as he mirrored the same sentiment as her. She was in her underwear and he was stripped down to just sweat pants. They were drinking and things were escalating quickly. She had already told him she hadn't been laid since before all this came down and now she was starting to think that maybe, just maybe, that's exactly what she needed. Her heart was pounding in her chest and his words came back to haunt her mind. Take one for the team."
She was pretty sure she was drunk. Three shots. It took nothing to get into her starved system. She could feel her body going into overdrive as she whispered out her next words.
"I dare you to take one for the team." She didn't answer anything back. She didn't say truth or dare, she didn't do anything to indicate she wanted to continue playing this game. She didn't know why she was doing this.
Maybe his kindness, through all the brutality of this world had broken through. Maybe he was the one guy that could actually be...something...to her. She barely knew him. It barely mattered right now.
He threw back the shot as he waited for her answer, swallowing as she said it. He slowly set the glass down. He wasn't quite hammered, but he was drunk too. Enough that his decision making skills were lacking heavily. Bringing a hand over, he'd gently take her chin, tilting it upward. He never said something he didn't mean, as far as offers like that went, even in jest. His own light response would come out as a near whisper too, the large male sliding off the chair as he leaned in.
"Thought you'd never ask."
He'd capture her lips with his own, hands coming down to her waist to lift her as he'd stand with both of them. This would give her the opportunity to wrap her legs around his waist, and once she did so he'd snap a finger. Knuckles laid down, guarding the living room as Aaron would carry her toward the stairs. She weighed nothing to him, the man walking up the steps with her as his lips would find her neck, kissing before giving a little suckle and a nip. He'd grab the master bedroom on the right, laughing as he walked inside and lay her down on the bed. Stepping away, he'd pull off his sweatpants, not yet removing his briefs but his clear arousal showing through.
He'd clamber on top of her, pressing his lower abdomen against her underwear, taking her lips once more and carefully brushing his tongue against hers-
Aaron grinned to himself. He was used to getting up early, and so had done so after their rather exciting night together. They'd had fun- more than once- throughout the evening, Knuckles not bothering them a single time. He'd stared at her before leaving the room, excited to see what else this venture had to offer. He heard a growl, however, as he headed down the stairs. Immediately, his gun was drawn. He lifted it, pointing it at the door as he hit the bottom steps. There, standing in the entryway, was a large male. He carried an M16 Assault rifle, had body armor, and seemed decked for a fight. Aaron, woefully underprepared, only had his handgun to defend himself with, as his rifle, bow and machete had been taken. Behind the couch were the three bags they'd left- three duffles- along with water and food. He'd stacked that there earlier, when he first got out of bed...and he was glad he had.
Despite his demeanor, the man hadn't raised his weapon.
"Well well....so, you're the one we'd been tracking in the truck, then?"
Aaron glanced around quickly. There was nobody else in the house. He kept the gun on the mans face. He'd said we. Aaron heard the noise from outside, indicating several trucks and men waiting. They probably had a sniper or two on the roof, boxing them in. Vastly outgunned and outmanned, Aaron would lower his weapon and holster it.
"You said you were tracking me- for how long, exactly?"
"Sixy miles, give or take."
"Why?"
The man grinned, shifting from one foot to another and giving a little shrug. He seemed very relaxed and in control, as though this wasn't his first rodeo.
"Either we got a woman, or a soldier. Either way, we win out. We need bodies and babies. And judging from the look of you....you're a soldier."
Aaron stared. This man was clearly a soldier too, and he wasn't happy at having been nearly caught with his pants down. But he'd snap at Knuckles, who sat calmly, the man watching with some mild amusement at the training. Aaron would seemingly relax, as though he was interested in what's going on.
"Well. You caught me at the perfect time then. I just cleaned the house out, and was hoping to find somewhere that could get me off these fucking streets."
The guy chuckled, and Aaron grinned.
Time to play the part.

When she awoke, she'd find the house empty of life. Two bags rested behind the couch, and no sign that Aaron or Knuckles had ever been there would be present. She'd be alone, with the bag he promised her plus extra food and water, and without even so much as a note.

Lila didn't feel Aaron come back to bed, which was fine. More mattress for her to sprawl on. Maybe one more round when he came back up and then they could be on their merry way. Last night left her sore in so many pleasurable ways come sunrise, except for the effects of the tequila. Jesus, the tequila. She lazily came in and out of this consciousness until finally she sat up, pulling the sheet over her naked body and looking towards the door.
She went on high alert as she heard Knuckles growl. Then it was a voice. An unfamiliar voice that spoke back and forth with Aaron. She heard it...and she quietly, but quickly scrambled to get her clothes back on. Dammit, where was her bra? Where did the panties go? Find her clothes strewn about the room was not the worst of it. The worst of it was her shirt and pants were still downstairs on the floor by the couch. She needed to hide.
Her eyes looked towards the closet door and slowly she tiptoed over to it, seeing a car downstairs. She just hoped they didn't see her. She stayed put, curling up against the wall in the dark in hopes no one was coming up except Aaron. She stayed there for a good long time, not hearing the conversation anymore..not hearing anything except the sounds of engines starting up and then disappearing. Still, she stayed. She heard no struggle, no gunfire..maybe Aaron talked the strangers off, but even then, she didn't hear him.
It was a good long hour before she had the nerve to come out, just wearing her bra and panties as she called out with a whisper. "Aaron? Aaron?"
Step by step she came down, hoping at least Knuckles would greet her, but there was nothing. No sign of Aaron, no sign of Knuckles. She scrambled to get dressed hoping no one would come out from around a corner and just snatch her up. She heard rumors of the cannibal cultists and slaver raiders, but hadn't run into any. Maybe that's why she sought refuge with Aaron in the first place here.
What she did see was the duffle he promised and some rations. She searched the little house and found nothing. She was abandoned. She knew she had to make her escape now and get out of this dusty little town. It didn't take long for her to carry the bag and rush out, starting up her truck and getting far, far away while fuming about the fact he just used her for a night. Then again, maybe she used him just as much.
