Peaceful
List 3 or more bad personality traits:
Hard Headed (at times. So not always, but it's still a trait of his in some situations. Such as killing another human being.
Anger Spouts (Didn't know a good word to come up with. So i'll explain this one. When he does get angry which is rare, he's one of those types who can't control it and flips his shit. Possibly sinking back to a phase that he was once at. Will explain more on this in the backstory.)
Emotional
List 3 strengths:
Very psychically strong
Can build shit. Was once a construction worker.
Aggressive (when he has to)
List 3 flaws:
Easily winded (dude can't run obviously, he's 400 plus pounds.)
Not a very skilled shooter.
Pacifist (Listed this as a physical flaw because when it comes down to it, he won't kill humans. His past is a big reason for this. I know I put hard headed in bad personality traits, but I couldn't think of another flaw tbh. Plz don't make me change. I'll be up all night.)
Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
Otis was a big family man. He fullfilled his dream for a few years playing football for the Panthers until he suffered a quad injury and decided to quit. With enough money left over to provide for his family only for a limited time, he set out and got a job as a city construction worker. Living life to the fullest, watching NFL on Sundays with his pals right after church with the family. And when there was a struggle in his life, he easily worked it out. But then one day, he came home early from the job since it started to rain. And when he pulled up he noticed the curtains to his bedroom window was closed. Which the only time they ever close them is when he and is wife are about to have sex. So long story short, Otis caught some white boy in bed with his wife and beat him to death. Right in front of his wife and kids. He couldn't control himself. His anger oozing through his knuckles as he punched away the douche bags life. Killing him and being sentenced to life in prison. Shortly after that, he and his wife got a divorce and he lost custody of his kids.
He began to live life behind bars. For a few years he lived the prison life. But not as the man that killed his wife's side lover that night. No, after that night, he swore to change. That he'd never unleash that kind of anger anymore. He'd never inflict violence on another human being. Because he knew that when he did, he was like a bull. He see's red and goes for the kill.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
Otis was on PI painting the break room when alarms started blaring through the building. A riot had broken out as the inmates heard about the outside world collapsing. People eating other people alive and the cities being destroyed. Millions dying. Otis wanted his phone call. He didn't know if the hype was real but he had to make sure. He wanted to call his ex wife. But he was told to stay in the break room as the guards went to go help in the riot. Leaving Otis with two other PI members and one guard keeping watch on them. He was a rookie guard. And the other two wanted to take him out so they could try to escape, but Otis didn't allow it. He protected him even though he also wanted to escape and see his family. And for that, when it came down to it, and some of the inmates who were killed in the riot turned, the guard let the men free, so that he could also go aid his family. So Otis set out, not finding a ride anywhere from anyone. Until finally he stole a pick up truck from a nearby farm. He drove to his old home and barged in the door. But what he seen on the walls was pictures of another family. They must of moved out. And to this day, Otis never knew what had happened to his family.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
After finding out that his family was gone, he set out to his grandparents old hunting cabin. Where his grandpa liked to fish and hunt at and take him as a kid. He had everything he needed there. Including a chicken coop that just so happened to be there. 4 chickens total. He lived there for almost three years now. Living off of eggs and the deer and fish that he killed. Keeping his appetite at a steady pace and stayed in shape with weights that he had found on the few trips he had taken into the city.
