People. Finally, People. Regan breathed a sigh of relief, but was still wary. He made his way to the front gate, taking out his knife he sliced through a walker. He took some of the walkers guts and made a semi-circle around the gate, hoping the smell would stop anymore walkers from attacking him while he waited to enter the farm. Regan pulled out a water bottle and washed off his hands. "Here goes nothing." Regan thought. He took out his hammer and banged it softly three times against the metal of the gate. Hopefully someone heard, and that they wouldn't shoot him on site. He decided he would put his hands out and said loudly. "I'm not a walker!"

Amber had taken to manning the gate today. Max was off helping prepare for the arrival of his new baby, and most everyone else was either on a run, or in the tower. She deicided her best bet was to watch the gate. A few walkers had piled up, but that wasn't an issue, not for now. If became to ,ugh of a hassle they'd take them out.
For now she sat in a lawn chair behind the gate, watching the tower, waiting for someone to give her the signal of someone approaching. This was one of the most boring jobs on the farm, gate duty. One many people despised. But sadly, it was one they couldn't go without. Some one had to do it, usually Jack, Garret or her.
When the sound of banging with a hammer agaisnt the steel gate came she jumped up. Moving up the ladder to the platform she aimed her assault rifle down at the person below. "Stop, don't move," she said calmly, "stop the banging." She saw the Walker guts around the man, he was smart. She didn't know if it would work.
"Are you alone," she asked, again remaining calm. Glancing back at the tower she shot a glare to Garret. What was he doing, sleeping on the Job? She shook her head. "State your name, and how many are with you."
Usually they found people while out on a run, this would be interesting.
Oh Great. "Just me." He said as he put his hands up to show he was not a threat. "Names Regan... Regan Walker." He holstered his hammer and pulled out some chocolate and started munching. If she was gonna kill him, he didn't wanna die with an empty stomach. "Just looking for a group to join. Preferably a non cannibalistic one. I've already had to deal with one of those."

"You often this fearless in the face of people with guns," Amber asked, "you aren't armed, I don't see a piece." She climbed off the platform. Slowly opening the gate she looked at the young man. "Regan huh, nice to meet you. I'm Amber," she offered a hand to shake. "Mind if we step inside, safer behind the walls."
She looked away. "Where you from Regan, the canibals near here." She looked away. "How old are you anyway? You don't look that old." She studied the man, looking him up and down. Her eyes then travelled past him, looking for anyone else that might be out there. He could be lying, wouldn't the first time they had people lie at the gates. "We don't want any trouble. But we won't turn you away. This community has families, kids, people we care about, I can't endanger them. You've cooperated so far, and I need you to keep doing so."
He shook her hand. "Nice to meet you, Amber. Not really, but I can usually tell what kind of person people are in a matter of seconds. I'm 18, a Texan born and raised, and no, The cannibals were somewhere in north Georgia. Yeah, I can cooperate." he said in kinda a rush. He then pointed up the road. "Do you think you guys could help me? My stuff is in a shed back that way, maybe a mile. Some walkers got the jump on me, and I had to get out of there quick. My weapons and supplies are in my bag. I can give you guys the medical supplies as a show of good faith." He realized what he was saying and what it might sound like. "I'm not trying to trick you or anything. I just really need my stuff."
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
